I accidentally made myself a giant pointed mushroom hat instead of a bed. It's really warm and comfy.

Thank you for this tutorial video! It took me time to understand how to increase the number of the crochet as the bottom part gets bigger, but I was able to finish it! It's so fun to make it and I'm happy with the outcome.

@@BeCozi the yarn is very stiff and it ended up going up but the only thing that could fit inside was my hand
@@gaycartoonsarecool1517 I have the same issue. Mine comes out looking like a ball. I'll keep trying since it looks great. Does the yarn in the video stretch? Mine doesn't.
My stitches must be tighter than yours as I haven’t used up my first skein and it only measures 13 inches. I’m wondering if I should just go ahead and make another row around ?
If you are making stitches tighter, the bed will be smaller and yes, you would need to add an extra row or two to make the base of 16 inches

Hi, sometimes my stitches are a bit loose and when I'm done with the beds, I need to try and even them out. Is this because I'm not doing them evenly or doing some of them bigger than the others?
The stitches should be tight for this cat bed
How do you clean the bed?
Wash in a washing machine in cold water with a few towels or in a washig mesh. Hang to dry
For the walls I am going into both sides of each stitch but it is still sitting flat. I am using the same weight of yarn as you. Any tips?

How do you keep it from unraveling when you wash?
