This is the first hand stitched project I have ever done. I just made the chunkiest slipper I have ever seen… I’m in love. Thank you for such a great video!
Hello, BeCozi! Doesn't stay up on my heel. Did some of my alterations cause that problem? I started with pinhole cast on instead of simple crochet chain. Then I knitted 6 rounds and 10 rows to reach my 9 1/2 Wide foot. My gauge must be a lot tighter than yours, which I was comfortable with because I wanted density and warmth. I actually used my 15mm home-made needles, which looked like the same diameter as my fingers, but I guess your loops are more than 15 mm. Can you help me make the back stay up on my heel/ankle please? Would you weave elastic through, or would you frog and re-knit at a bigger gauge? P.S. I love this merino roving!!!!! So springy and delicious!
Julia, I am using BeCozi Loopy stitch yarn. The slippers knitted with this yarn as in the video stay on the feet pretty nice. Not sure what yarn is used by you, sorry
@@juliapriest9427 Maybe reviwewing the video would help. Changing the number of rows to cover the top part of the foot - one or two extra rows could help
@@BeCozi thank you. I did watch the video carefully many times over the past few weeks and today as I was deciding, purchasing, testing, and finally making the slipper. I kept the vamp short because I like the look, but maybe lengthening it to your recommendation would keep the sides of the slipper up. I will try.
I have 2 more rolls of this yarn I bought. I was hoping to do some scarves with it. Is this a good yarn for that? I’ve been looking for finger knit videos but they’re all small yarns. Thanks for any help!!
I needed 6 rows and 8 rows. I followed the directions with 5 and 6 and it was way to small for my size 8 foot. I bought three balls for six sets and I am short one slipper.
Geri, this video is for a size that fits my size 10. Something was probably not knitted as in the video. It can be unwound and reknitted according to the video.
I love your account so much, I’m a beginner so I really struggle making fun things but your tutorials make it so easy !
Thank you! Happy Knitting!
My yarn just arrived!! I’m going to attempt to make these tonight. 🤞
Happy knitting!

Can I make this with the normal yarn
We are making it with BeCozi yarn from becozi.net. We can not recommend any other yarn as we did not make this item with any of them.
Please good work

I have the video for the booties. How can I use this video for the bottom of the booties for a different look
Cast on stitches around the opening of the slippers, knit around for the height you want, cast off.
@@BeCozi Thank you!

It fits size 4-10
My grandchild is a size 6 in toddler. What are the row counts? Looking to do for Xmas.
Thank you
Did not make them as small but probably start with 7 stitches
Can you use chunky chenille for these slippers?
Probably yes, did not try
Hello but will there be a crochet version of this?
No. We Hand knit 99% of our products.
@@BeCozi oh okay it is fine ☺️

Elle, yes, it would be great for gloves!
If you want to find this yarn easily then search up chunky yarn
How can you extend this to make it a bootie?
Sure
How many rows for five year old child
Does chenille yarn also work?
It will but slippers will be very bulky.
@@BeCozi ok thank you for letting me know
@@crystalli6295 You are welcome!
She never says if this slipper is a child or adult size. 🤨
Mentioned in a video - "one size fit all", from women size 6 to 10
@@BeCozi that didn’t work for me. I think they are smaller than that.
