I did this a few weeks ago and it worked on the 3rd try. I recently got my car fixed and i guess it reset when stuff was replaced, so i just did it again, just now, first try. Thank you for the video, this has helped tremendously. Thank you again
Knew your channel would be the first one that popped up when I searched this. Battery died, and I had to do this over. The first time I did this it worked flawlessly. Now it won't work for shit 😅😅
Okay, so on the off chance anybody sees this, I think I've found the reason why this works sometimes but not others. If you look on the dash, the seatbelt light goes away when you insert the clip, but reappears as soon as you remove it. If you do it too quickly, the light doesn't get a full on/off cycle. I think the trick is to do it 20 times as reasonably fast as you can, as long as you see that light go off and on each time.
Hey Bro. Maybe You know how to change display clock from 12h to 24h in Outback 2008? They said, it can be done somehow. Regards from PL tnd thanks for Your moovies.
How to do this in the EU version FORESTER 05?? it only chimes when driving and only stops when buckle is in.. annoying af when offroad and need to be jumping in n out of the car...
Thank you! This technique worked on the first try on my '05 Outback wagon. Peace at last!

I am not sure about 2008 model. I don’t think it is possible on 2005-2007
My chime stopped but the red warning light continues to pulsate then it will go solid then seconds later it starts the cycle again, but no chime!! Thx

i would hope you put your seatbelt on while driving ya?
Ha that worked
Does this turn off the alarm permanently? Or do you have to do this every time you get in the car.....?
It turns it off permanently. It will reset if you disconnect the battery
Does this work for the passenger seat as well???
Yes, this works for both
Going to do. My pass seat sensor failed.
First try
And you have to redo when battery is disconnected. Sigh
Don't mind me 👀
