@@CapeCrawlers I think you did a great job man. This stuff isn't easy to communicate. And seeing the way the side wall would ripple and conform to the terrain was pretty unbelievable. I'm fairly new to RC (my background is in full size 4x4s) but I haven't seen any other 24th scale tire fold that dramatically. Great video, subbed 🙌
Love your channel and videos. Would love to see you doing more comparable tests on the same truck in the future. For example, run the same indoor and outdoor locations with the same truck with changing the tires over. Since your builds are unique, would love to see a more objective test on tires on the same truck/chassis. Keep up the awesome content!
Ask and you shall receive! I plan to do a swamp king, competition pin, and mud boss tire comparison in the near future. I’ll do just as you suggest: objective comparison on the same rig.
@@CapeCrawlers i would also like that aswell. I'm a new viewer and that is something that i was going to suggest, so I'm glad someone else pointed that out. other then that great content. I'm new to 1/24 scale crawling, and I'm looking to buy my first rig, to build on, I'm hearing a lot of good things about the fms fcx24? should i believe the hype? and what is the aftermarket like/ where can i find one? or do you recommend me going scx24 and why?
@@jasonanderson7020 I'm going to do a direct comparison video and upload it later this week. That may help you with your decision. The Axial is very well established, as is the aftermarket. The FCX is just hitting its stride.
Ordered a set of Swamp Kings 2 days ago then got an email to say the Grippers were available today to order 😀👍🏻. So i have 2 sets of Little Guys Racing tyres on their way to me and it may sound stupid, but i dont care 😜, i’m like a kid on Christmas Eve and cant wait for them to fly themselves over to the UK and drop on my doorstep 😜😜🤙🏻🤙🏻. Another awesome video Adam, very informative and just down right quality entertainment Bud 👍🏻😀. I love the look of your Deadbolt and has totally changed the way i look at them now. At fisrt i really didnt like the body but now it totally makes sense with having no fenders and a wicked approach angle. I’m currently bidding on a green C10 but if that falls through i’m defo getting a deadbolt. Awesome channel with even better videos and builds ❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
@@CapeCrawlers i think your doing just fine Adam and also think that the channel will go very far. outstanding tire,s. they are very nice on real rocks, the swamp king is a blast crawling around!!! i like them the best, thanks,,,,great job editing too,
Mud terrain M/T’s my go to tire, with flubber stuffers slime balls V3 , Appreciate sharing they do look awesome I might try it set with the Flubber stuffers. Catch you on the next one
I love LGRP Tyre's, I prefer my swamp king's over trail king's I don't agree with LGRP tyre's being easy to install,I've found softer compounds harder to install. But I believe they are the best
Hey...hardpark needs to send you a care package they got new axles that are 10mm extended 7075 insane and a new chassis plus crazy carbon wheels cool stuff
I have a set of Hyrax tires and love them, but there is no comparison in terms of softness. I will add I am not sure if the Hyrax's I have are in the predator compound. So, with that said, the grippers are night and day softer.
hi capes i was wondering if u could give me rough measurement of escalator ur crawler hills. i would really like to add something similar to my track if u wouldint mind ? cheers from canada
No I don't but I wish I did! I am going to do an addition and I will document it. Winter is coming here in new england, so I'll need more obstacles to climb on indoors!
There might be tires that my C10, or Bronco wheels would shed their Patagonias, or my Gladiator it's Scramblers for, but I don't feel a need for tryouts.
@@CapeCrawlers They are. I haven't tried enough to say they're the best, just that they work on my real and fake rocks more than the 3 or 4 other sets I have tried. I like watching how others perform though so thanks for doing this.
That's a tough one because of the size differences. I think my top five would go like this: LGRP swamp king Injora 64mm rock terrains RC4WD scrambler LGRP gripper Proline Hyrax

Ordering new tires.... now!
I’m glad it translated to video because it was hard to articulate just how soft they are!

New threads, new treads! Great overview on these tires, thanks for the input..
Thanks for watching! Great tires make for fun videos.
It would be nice if the Swamp Kings were available with the compound that they use for the Grippers....!!!!! Imagine how awesome that would be!!!
Totally agree! They would dominate everything.
Mud terrain M/T’s my go to tire, with flubber stuffers slime balls V3 , Appreciate sharing they do look awesome I might try it set with the Flubber stuffers. Catch you on the next one
I finally got some slymeballz on the way! Going to try them in the Injora competition pins!

Swamp kings are my favorite as well. 👍🏻
The Grippers look alot like the BFGoodrich mud terrain T/A KM3. Swamp kings look like the Baka pro X
Agreed, definitely safe to assume those were inspirations behind these designs.
Got to try out the SWAMP KINGS ,SCRAMBLER were my put back on tires, but lately been using the INJORA MUD TERRAIN,,,,thanks for sharing
I do love those mud terrains as well. Injora has really stepped up their tire game!
Yes,INJORA good(don't think ive ever been disappointed with any thing INJORA) just wish they had a U S distributor (2 weeks later and whoosh its here)
My outdoor course is moab. & yes hells gate , hells revenge, cliff hanger. Even the slick rock bike trails.
Do you have a spare bedroom I could use for the next couple of decades?
Did you do a video on the shock setup? Man that’s nice!
Do you have like a top 5 tires? I've only ever tried 2 types of injoras. If you could recommend some for my c10 build? Appreciate it
Hey...hardpark needs to send you a care package they got new axles that are 10mm extended 7075 insane and a new chassis plus crazy carbon wheels cool stuff
Love their stuff. Just got my hands on some Mazz designs goodies. Maybe hardpark will be next
Which of these will fit on a stock Deadbolt? My 8 year old son and I are about to get into the hobby and are excited to do the tire swap.
The grippers will fit without any mods. Swamp kings will likely rub
@@CapeCrawlers Thanks! We picked up a dead bolt and the Jeep now the fun begins.
I'd like to see a head to head swamp kings vs mud slingers. I feel like the mud slingers would be very close competition 🤔
I will make that happen!
How does the gripper softness compare to the proline hyrax in predator compound? I’m curious if u have any proline tires and how they match up?
I have a set of Hyrax tires and love them, but there is no comparison in terms of softness. I will add I am not sure if the Hyrax's I have are in the predator compound. So, with that said, the grippers are night and day softer.
try these with the new yellow injora inserts, my jlu is doing things it never even looked at before
Great vid and info! 💯🔥🤙
Thanks for watching!
Gotta get some of those! Wow!
Dude you’re going to go bonkers when you feel how soft they are. I don’t know how they hold their shape!
Would these fit on a stock deadbolt and gladiator without cutting the bodies?
Deadbolt yes, Gladiator would be really tight
Yeah awesome I want to see how they perform
Interesting! Wonder what the cost of getting them to the UK is....ah, found the link. Cheers Adam.
If the cost isn’t outrageous I would highly recommend them. Very cool tires.
Will those gripper tyres work on 42 mm shocks on a bronco relocated shocks?
Yes I feel like they would
They will rub but with no springs

Say what!?! 4 wheel steering on the deadbolt? I gues i missed that video lol
Yes, that video is coming later this week 😎 I got the scoop on the gripper tires and had to drop this video first
It looks like those gripper tires would be happier on a lighter truck??
Nice riview. Broo🙏
Thank you!
And to be far, u have more weight on the blue truck than the green one, so that probably y it had a hard time on Hells Gate
Has anyone ever told you that you look like Ivan Drago from the movie Rocky 4? If he dies, he dies! lol
I MUST BREAK YOU. Probably the best complement I’ve ever received 😂😂
Just used my grippers for a week now, they are worse than my mudslingers by alot
Sorry to hear that! These are definitely not as aggressive as the mud slingers
