    Rice is literally the best thing for your body. Peas and carrots also. Fruits are AMAZING. Some lean meat. You're gonna feel so good you're going to wonder why haven't you done this. I started eating like this 7 weeks ago, and I've been losing 2kg (4.4 lbs) per week without any other activity other than work. I went from 129.6 kg (285.7 lbs) to 115.6 kg (254.8 lbs) in, again, 7 weeks. With 0, I REPEAT, 0 struggle. The volume is up and calories are low (compared to the volume). Minimal fat in my diet. Almost none. I feel amazing and my hormones are through the roof. Cortisol is through the floor. I don't wake up tired anymore. I quit coffee with ZERO withdrawals. I couldn't believe it. I just drank a cup o water with 2 tablespoons of table sugar in the morning.

      I find baby potatoes a bit boring on their own, and I find a raw salad on its own a bit lacking in energy-sustaining power (garlic, cucumber, tomato, spring onion, spinach, celery...), but if I combine them and add some chick peas then I find it works and I eat it almost every day and it is seems to keep me going. I don't use any dressing, I just squeeze half a lime on top, and sprinkle some turmeric and cayenne. I chop the potatoes in small pieces and microwave on high for about 12 minutes, and make the salad during those 12 minutes. And it is probably one of my favourite meals along with oats, banana, blueberries and soy milk for dessert, and breakfast.

    • @greenleafyman1028
      @greenleafyman1028 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      As a starch-based dieter, I would say I agree with the fact that raw is more nutritious since there are some nutrients being destroyed by cooking. The idea of cooked starch-based diet is that it is easy to introduce them for those beginners in whole food plant based diet. Despite that raw diet has more nutrients and benefits, cooked starch-based diet has high success rate when implemented to patients due to its easy adapatability, and taste buds don't need to adjust much.
      For example, Asians eat rice and meat. They can just still eat rice and swap meat with vegetables compared to just completely replace their meal with raw vegetables.

    • @aurelienb9109
      @aurelienb9109 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@greenleafyman1028 Thanks for the comment. All that you said make sense. There still lacks studies comparing different kinds of plant-based diets. Also, it is easier to get sufficient calorie intake on a cooked starch-based diet compared to a high raw diet. I'm still investigating for myself, but somehow, I feel that raw foods are easier to digest, personally. Instead of cooked oats, for example, I switched to raw sprouted oats. However, many starches can not be eaten raw or sprouted. Healthy eating is a journey of investigation and discovery...
