  • I share with you how I replaced the upper front control arms in my girlfriends 2012 Honda Accord. This saved her over $500! I did it in my driveway with standard tools almost anyone might have. This is a great example of how DIY saved our household quite a chunk of money. You can too! Please subscribe. Check out my channel for other DIY related content.

Hopefully it helps! Enjoy your project and good luck. The aftermarket arms are absolutely fine too. Thank you for commenting.

How did you make out? Hopefully you were able to knock it out?

Hi was there any play on the side bolts bushings?
Was it easy enough to get strut back into position on your own whilst pushing down on the breaker bar?

Been a bit since I did this... Everything fit pretty snug and it did require a bit of coordination to wrestle things together. Keep in mind... Doing it on flat concrete would be a good step in making it easier. Be safe with the wrestling match and def bigger the bar, the better. Lol. Good luck. Enjoy saving some bucks! Thanks for commenting and watching. I hope it helps.

With the wheel still off and a jack under the lower ball joint to create loaded tension could you then tighten up everything to torque then?

@@bronniesboy Yes. You just want the bushings to be at ride height or pretty close to it before you torque them down.
