Loving your APC reactions so far. I amazed with how in depth you get at such a young age. To answer some questions:
    1) GOP: Grand Old Party (aka: Republicans)
    2) Guy on horse: George W. Bush
    3) George W. Bush: former Govenor of Texas & 43rd President
    4) Texas...oil...presidency was during 9/11 & Gulf War
Maynard absolutely despised GWB as president. The original song came out in 2004 during right after 9/11 and during the Gulf War. He would claim that GWB would try to distract the masses while doing "evil" things behind the scenes. As far as the kids go...GWB created a law called "No Child Left Behind" that was to reinvent the pubic education system while holding public schools accountable for failing. The irony is GWB was Governor of Texas before being president...Texas at the time had one of the worst public school systems then. As someone that was probably a bit older than you when all of this went down, this is eerily accurate, "if you question us, you're not a patriot/American".
Anyway, much like you, I enjoy the Maynard puts his thoughts into lyrics and melody. Keep up the good work!

Any songs you'd suggest next? And yes, thank you I appreciate your support:) APC is turning out to be an awesome band!

I would tackle these next, of course I'm biased but these are some of my favorites.
      1) The Noose
      2) The Package
      3) By and Down the River
      4) Talk Talk
      5) Passive
      6) Weak and Powerless
Then you have a whole different class of song....
      1) Orestes: In my opinion probably their all around best composed song (might want to read up on the Orestes story if not familiar, I wasn't)
      2) Judith: I'm sure your familiar with Maynard's family story. It is about his rage during his mom's paralysis. This is APC's biggest radio hit. Very heavy musically.
      3) Imagine: Originally a John Lennon song, re imagined by APC. Might want to listen to the original first if you haven't heard it.
Wonderful band to dive into, enjoy!

@@matthewcooper6198 Awesome, I will start on this soon:) I have heard Imagine by John Lennon, and Judith before, but the rest sounds sick, thank you for responding, I appreciate it!

Not the Gulf War, that was W's Daddy's war, George H. W. Bush in 1991. W's wars are the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Afghanistan started right after 9/11 in 2001. And the Iraq war started in 2003.

It technically does if you consider lying to/deceiving/manipulating facts to the masses to fund, back and encourage a war as mind control. I certainly do.
