One question- I've heard the battery life isn't that great and it's best to keep the band off unless using it. So, on to the question, how do you know if the band is on or off?
Hi JenniferDClark! Great question! One of the easiest ways is to check within the MyDisney Experience app on your phone. It show if the band is on, connected and the battery life. Also, if you are in the parks and walking around it typically will periodically vibrate and light up. If it doesn’t it is either not on or out of battery :)
Hey @chriscupples6505! Yes! If you download the my Disney experience app you can click on your specific Magic band. Then go into settings and you can select the specific color then you want!
@@c-cupp7 yes it is! Log into your mydisney experience app and you should be able to link the Magic bands to each member of your family/partner! When you first link the magicband into the app you can select the individual!😊
Hey @flamindelta9853! Download the myDisney experience app and then you can link your park reservations, passes and dining experiences. Then you link your magic band through the app and can simply tap into the park 😊
Hi, Sunshine Squirrel! Love your name! I am having terrible trouble getting my magicband+ To tap my iphone to link. I think my iphone might be too old. What phone did you use in the video? When I get to the part when the little blue bar shows, that says Open Scanner, it won’t go past. It keeps saying, Tap failed. Unable to read identifier from media. I am not tech savvy. I don’t know how to fix it. I loved your video, and I was very jealous that your scanner worked just fine. Lol I accidentally threw the box away, so I can’t even scan with my phone. Lol
If the scanner continues to fail…when you are in the Link To Account section (select Type ID). Once you the ID Number…located on the back of the MagicBand+ (It’s the 12 mixed numbers/letters that is located on the back…it’s divided into three parts so it’s easier to read off). After you enter that in…click on the light blue Link Media icon/button. I hope this helps because I wasn’t able to use the scanner to sync mine through the app.
@@streetguy73 Thank you very much for your help! I just got real with myself and accepted I needed a new phone, so I got an iPhone 12. Worked like a charm. Lol Phone repair shops don’t work on the 6s anymore, I found out, and Apple apparently took away the scan feature too. Don’t know how, but no matter. 🙂
I really want one
Hi I have a question.... how I can turn off the band? Thanks!
Hi there! Press and hold the button on the back of the band for at least 6 seconds and it will buzz twice! That means it is turned off ☺️

@@SunshineSquirrel Thanks. And one other thing. Is it possible to have more than one Magicband+ on one Disney Account?

When charging the MagicBand+ does it go green and stay green or does it light up green every once in a while once it's fully charged?
