How to identify height of tide? Theres no computation for that. You will just look visual the waves and calculate the speed of true wind to compare the speed of the wind in Beaufort table.
While calculating apparent wind direction it should be taken -30° or -150° because the anemometer is showing 150° Port side of ship??? Please correct me Thank you

How did sailors determine the ships speed relative to ground before the invention of gps etc? Out in the ocean you can only measure the speed relative to the water, which includes currents, right?
Good day sir, how about if the heading is 355 and the apparent wind direction is 030S, how will you calculate it. bc i see that that youre having a heading of 025 and an apparent wind of -30(bc its portside as you've said in the explanation) what youve done in the example is 360+25-30= 355.
