To make sure you can feed a large loop relatively quick and stable, make sure your granery is as close to you Bazar(s) as possible. So market ladies are just a few tiles away from to keep the markets fully stocked.
IIRC also build them near the market ladies' spawn point, cuz that's where they'll go to the granaries and warehouses to get goods, I learned that the hard way~
from my observation, if there are granaries around, the lady market will tend to get food from there instead of storage yards. but if there are not even one granaries, they will get from the storage yard. CMIIW though..
@@adrianpilarczyk3165 well, logically granaries are for food storage and storage yards are usually just for storing item. so, i think the lady market is programmed to get food from granaries when it has stock. but if there no more food stored left in there, they will get it at storage yard eventually. The game just wants it to be as realistic as it can as far as i believe so.
@@hardiz91lady market only takes food from storage yard if its been imported. they will never take locally produced food from storage yard, only from Granary which you can manually fill from storage yards. Thats what i heard.
i'm having problems with the lady market. i've put up a lot of granaries and stockpilers near the market entrance, however, they will walk all across the loop to get to the north part where they re-enter the market and spawn to feed the housing. This made the time to replenish the market and to feed all the housing. How can i tackle this problem? any suggestions?
Check where the entrance and exit to the granaries and stockpilers are. The red and green squares. They will always go there to pick up goods. If you have another road placed that moves it, they will be forced to take the long way.
I have been trying to get my forced walker layouts working and just could get it right this video has explained it perfectly thank you
Glad I could help!

You can have a the storage (including granary) getting from the other feeder storage.

Glad I could help.
Nice idea!
I didn't know that they re-released the Pharoah game!
Yeah! We are still missing the ability to control military like the original but devs say it is coming. Pretty good remaster.
Does this work the same way for caesar III? I have read that prefects and enginers cant be turned into forced walkers
It's actually better than Caesar 3. In Pharaoh every building can be used for forced walkers.
Does using storage yard over granary for storing food has some benefits?

@@hardiz91 that sounds kinda weird, store yards have waaaay more place for food, so there's no need to even use one granary

In original Pharaoh yes, but in the remake there is no difference. Stockyards are cheaper and can be used for ALL goods.

genius!
was this patched? my walkers turn around rather than walking the full loop, im new sorry :P
It is not patched, the set up is tricky, so make sure you have it set up correctly.
@@7Wolf77 I figured it out after a few attempts thank you, great content!
