This mission on OG is significantly harder apparently and is a timed survival mission, I beat it today but it took me multiple saves/reloads.

The "Ah, biscuits" comments when you realized you forgot weapons earned the sub. Gave me a good chuckle.

Watching this makes me realize how good I am at this game. You are doing way too much. XD

12:38 The Gods ignore your city until you reach 400 pop, no matter how many temples or shrines you have placed and regardless of whether they are employed and putting out walkers. Messages about Gods being angry or pleased also get a bit delayed sometimes in A New Era, if you've only just gone over that limit or keep fiddling with the gamespeed.

I was so shocked when I realized this mission gives you 2k money at the beginning, so I also gave it all into papyrus production. Now im at 1 mil money, 11k population, pushing hard on bricks to finish the pyramids faster!

I think my game is bugged. Cant get the prosperity rating in this mission! I have some problems with beer, my storage yards csnt get filled. And I have one carrier with barley bugged in the water. Tried to delete and rebuild the transport wharf - it didnt fix it. My money balance is over 1 million. Trading is fine. Prosperity rating didnt get over 50, how can I fix this?

I think there might be a bug with the grain. When I started importing it, my own production shot up to excessive.

Yeah, Road blocks are definitely not working the same way you have them in your game almost 2 years ago. I have the global labor pool turned on and it is still blocking everyone from doing their thing. Have to remove them to get jobs populated.

I'm watching your videos a year after you made them as I'm playing through PNE currently. They are very helpful... That weird message you get when your troops win the away battle was fixed in a later bug fix to reflect that they returned home victorious. FYI, I don't know if it's different playing on normal, but I'm bascially using your housing block setup but put one of each kind of stage in each block. I have always been able to reach the culture rating without doing that culture spam.

i'd love to know why you only have 4 ships on hard and zero invasion force. i played this on medium and easy, 5 ships and even if i destroy them i still get a land invasion force so big i literally have no time to recuit enough soldiers to combat them.

Does this work for the first version of Pharaoh? In old Pharaoh, recruiters couldn’t cross roadblocks. So they couldn’t access residents of the housing block in case their workplace is outside that.

i was stuck in that mission too, but as soon as i evolved a couple houses to be 3x3 houses the prosperity hit the requirement... i really think they should put a housing target to reach, that would made prosperity more easy to achieve

Why do you need that many architech and firehouse? Doesn't make sense to me that you put 1 for every tiny block

I really hate making "symmetrical" rationalized cities like this, I prefer to build the city organically so it looks like an actual sprawling city; and it still works perfectly fine without issues if you know the game, it probably just takes a bit more time. also my rule is global labour (aka super easy mode) off and no hut in the middle of nowhere, that's cheating; people need to live in decent conditions (preferably nothing below white housing / appartement). I feel like I don't play the same game as most people I see on youtube. oh well. sorry for the rant.

Hi, I put my reed collectors on the side with the reeds, they are collecting and storing it at the yard. But then they wont ferry it across to the papyrus makers and even when I tried to sell the reeds, via land route, they don't get taken. please help

Been a Pharoah fan since before New Era came out. Doing my 2nd playthrough of New Era and your videos are helping alot to remember things and learn some new tips. I've been using your housing block layout and it seems more stable than what I've previously tried. Just in case you're interested: I've been to Egypt and the statue that you like (and call the bird) is Horus..son of Osirus and Isis. Horus was very significant to the Egyptians and was worshipped like a god. Thank you for these playthroughs.

Pharaoh stopped sending requests a long time ago. Is this a bug? Because it's tedious at 40 plain stones a year

im seeing a lot of red and yellow text when i run it, from what i understand, all i had to do was copy the mod folder, and run it?

After learning your housing block by watching one of the previous missions I managed a couple more missions no problem then came back to this one and the thing that caused me a reset was I set my production up so it so neatly and snugly fitted into the bottom of the map that I actually had massive unemployment problems without even finishing the housing plots on the first loop. I'd put everything down in such a way that there was barely room to expand properly. Really missing those work camps for dumping excess workers...
