Keep the content coming. I haven't played in 15 years and I never had proper training in stretching or just actual coaching. I was flexible and basically had to figure out everything on my own. It's nice to see someone taking the step to teach. I'm a dinosaur at 34 trying to play the toughest position in sports AGAIN. I downloaded the butterfly app and everything you've been posting has helped me. I thank you for that

Without a gym and heading into winter months, these are a great addition to any at home workout for goalies. Excellent stuff as always.

This is exactly what I needed to see. I just got off the ice with Nick Dahan and I was struggling with speed. I’ll work though this progression! Thanks Maria.

Awesome - - glad to help you find that extra gear in the crease - feels good when you can beat the pass and follow the shot all the way into your body.

These are great! I have already been creating my workouts based on so many training drills you have given and have felt a major improvement with not even being on the ice yet. The strengthening exercise, mobility training, the back/core so no back stretching I do everyday along with the butterfly challenge. As I get more ideas and you give more I start playing around with what I feel to work on more. Look forward to addicting these in and would be great to do another video. Thankyou!

Glad to help - - and I hope you are able to get on the ice soon! When you are ready to have the entire strategic plan put together for you, check out the www.ShutoutAcademy.com - but for now it sounds like you are doing great!

Maria. Very well said! YES. Deceleration before acceleration. From my own experience, I grew up playing ice hockey my whole life and went skiing for the first time once I graduated college. I was able to ski black diamonds with speed during my first day because stopping on skis was identical to ice hockey stopping (when I remained on my feet!!!)! I never thought of teaching it that way....great job!!

I sure did find it helpful, Maria! Thanks!
I'm a new FR Tendy in the States. I'm a female in a co rec league competitive/ and women's league (intro league). I'm SO hype to have found your channel. AMAZING! Ive just started University and am seriously looking into exercise science/physiology. And yes, I totally nerd out on all your "science-y" vids. 🤓Have a beautiful day!
Stick taps for all you do. 🏒🏒🏒🏒

If you love the nerdy science stuff, then exercise science might be a great sandbox for you in University.
Thanks for the stick taps and welcome to Goalieland.
