LOL yes emotions were so high as a teen oh my goodness! If you have any stories about urban legends, knitting or non knitting related, that would be neat! I've never been to the west coast so curious if they have the same ones we grew up with.
What a wonderful story teller you are! And you have reminded me once again how awful my school years were. I felt just as you did: ugly, fat, unwanted. I was painfully shy and, worse yet, had to wear glasses. I had crushes on many of the boys in my class and have no idea how they felt about me and as I never spoke to any of them it was a lost cause in any case. Golly I am glad to be past that time and to be an adult. And to live in an age of internet and UTube and to watch your shows! Life is good! Thank you!

You're correct, at least in my experience. Emotions were at the end of the scale (good or bad) and rarely otherwise during the teens. I'm delighted to be long past that and can laugh at it now.

Hehehe I remember those days! I'll even out myself a little bit here. One of my big crushes throughout all of school (elementary - high school) was actually a guy named Jacob and we ended up "working" in the schools front office together our senior year. It was like 3-4 of us in there, and we all became pretty close. I never actually told me I always had a crush on him, but I remember always being excited to see him in there. I think the only time I told a crush was the first guy I ended up dating! We dated for almost two years in high school too 🙂I really only told him because it was pretty obvious he felt the same way, and I had a friend help me ask him out 🤣
