It's more of a comfort thing. I think a lot of guitar players can learn to hold power chords that way but it doesn't matter much. Nothing to take away from her performance at all.
I play with power chords with middle, index and ring finger, is not flexibility, is player preference and the position of the hand, it becomes something your body just do by default after learning for the first time
Kickass version. Your rhythm is real tight and you literally nailed the solo that is undoubtedly one of the hardest solos ever composed. Crazy dynamics and velocity. You locked that groove in. Millions of players oughtta take their cues from you. It’s so great to see women play heavy metal and with such mastery might I add. Keep it up.
About 90% of them are people that probably thought they were going to hear some country song or something didn't even know what it was at least that would make better sense or like you said out shredded . I have sent the song to a couple guitar players and they both came back with something negative. That type of jealousy has broke up many a band LOL
Incredibly done. Every Megadeth song I ever learnt gave me a tough time and I still can't play most of Friedman's solos & she did it effortlessly. If that's not true talent and dedication then I don't know what is.

Okay ye some of those comments might be technically true but who cares she still displays skill/ability to play the whole song including solo, and that's a very hard solo.
I've listened to that solo a bazillion times since 1990. Never heard it played live so perfectly by anyone. Truly a rare talent. But more impressive is her dedication and hard work. It shows. That took tremendous effort to get every detail down so smoothly and flawlessly. Off the charts skill for sure, but her work ethic is clearly the key. You don't just get that good wishing for it. Bravo! I hope she has a long and prolific career and look forward to seeing where she takes the art form. Don't let the mountains of praise you are sure to get change you in the least, Tina. Stay true to yourself, plug your ears... and PLAY!

I am always as well when I play the e-guitar. Its like being in trance :) and when you become confident enough with what you are playing, and you dont have to THINK any more, you can totally let yourself being washed away by the flow but daaamn these moments are rare XD

I've seen a lot of people try to master this and nobody has come as close as this woman. Terrific performance.
Good lord. This is the best. No need to smile for the little boys. No need to show off the playing with rock faces and theatrics. No need to play some role. Just skills skills skills. All the emphasis is on the music. To see Tina S. smoke so many hard tunes with such precision is just a pure delight. I can't stop watching.
