An absolutely phenomenal technician, her understanding of chord structures and scales is beyond most people's comprehension. Tina S is in my opinion one of the world's greatest guitarists, and a definitive star of the future. I wish her all the luck in the world for her future musical career.. 🎸👏🎸

I don't think she stopped because of this, she is french and she stopped at the age when you start higher studies, pretty sure that's the reason

@ZATennisFan What more is "talent" than an measure of practice? With enough effort anyone can become this good... it's just that she put in about a bajillion times more effort than I'm willing to XD
That’s not a virtuoso playing and in a 1-5 scale it should be classified as 3 or 4, advanced or professional. She may have played virtuoso material, but imprecisely overall (I recommend Cole Rolland’s version, it is impeccably accurate). Also, “talent” is a very misinterpreted concept. To reach this level, one should be practicing many hours a day since very young. That’s the only deal. Some people will have more ease than others, but most of them should be capable, in the right conditions.
You know the difference between doing what she does and having a band is you need the creativity to create awesome badass songs. Many great guitarists here on youtube only make covers because of this lag of creativity. Its no critisism but a important difference^^
Sure, but look in the description, this video was filmed by her teacher. So I'd say that if she has a teacher who has taught her up to that level of playing, then she probably knows tonnes of theory, and would be able to compose pulling from that knowledge, and a variety of influences that she's learnt to play.

her pick hand is so fast at times you can't even tell it's moving. absolutely amazing. I've watched this video at least 50 times and it still floors me everytime.
A real fingerbuster! Any good guitarist will tell you that it's the picking hand that makes a great guitar player. Tina's picking is incredible for any player, and yet, she's only 15 in this video. An enormously talented and hard-working musician. Love your playing Tina. Please give us lots more to enjoy.
Maybe for metal players, but for music with more feel needed, the fretting hand is equally important. Doesn’t matter how good your picking hand is if the fretting hand can’t finesse the frets.
Not so. A pro guitarist told me that the picking hand is the most important for virtuosity. The legato hand learns to keep up through practice! It's only people who tap to excess and don't develop their picking skills who think that picking is not as important.

not really that hard of a song to learn, just time consuming, kind of like yngwie malmsteen (hope I spelled that right) songs, they take forever to learn because they're a lot of notes, but not really too difficult
It kinda also boils down to speed and endurance really in my opinion. If the song was knocked down by some bpms, it's really not that bad. I haven't attempted this on guitar yet, but it's just based on what I hear
I said the timing of the notes, not the notes themselves... if you're reading correctly :P and if you can't see it then you should listen to the original song and compare xD

That's not just talent, it's also persistance. If you take 5 minutos to peel an orange, you may be able to do so in less than 5 seconds if you try a lot, if you peel 2000 oranges a day. I've read some articles discurring about her return now and how she seems to be quite simple, quite predictable, quite somewhat weak compared to the same person of 8 years ago. Playing different songs on a daily basis can prove to be challenging though. Still, we're all happy with her return and waiting something special from her, something we are all used to when it comes to TINA S. Welcome back lady, hit us hard!

King Gary Moore David Gilmour, you might ask why am I telling you this, well" he says Tina is probably one of the best guitarist is ever seen, because she plays so many different styles, but if you look around TH-cam you see all types of Ages and playing unbelievable, he showed me Tina's videos probably about 5 years ago, I can't see any new videos recent so may have to go and find out what she's doing these days,
when you're doing something that amazing, there is no mental capacity left for emotion either that or she's practised this so much she doesn't even find it hard anymore
She never seems passionate or enjoying herself while playing. She quit playing or at very least posting anything close to almost decade ago without explanation, maybe she truly didn't really enjoy it?

After watching Tina through the years, then watching this video, I sold all my guitars, amps and equipment. I now just appreciate music and guitar from a distance.

That’s not a virtuoso playing and in a 1-5 scale it should be classified as 3 or 4, advanced or professional. She may have played virtuoso material, but imprecisely overall (I recommend Cole Rolland’s version, it is impeccably accurate). Also, “talent” is a very misinterpreted concept. To reach this level, one should be practicing many hours a day since very young. That’s the only deal. Some people will have more ease than others, but most of them should be capable, in the right conditions.
I'm waiting for the day that she forms a band and rockets to fame. I will so be buying a ticket to the first show, wherever it may be.
You know the difference between doing what she does and having a band is you need the creativity to create awesome badass songs. Many great guitarists here on youtube only make covers because of this lag of creativity. Its no critisism but a important difference^^
Sure, but look in the description, this video was filmed by her teacher. So I'd say that if she has a teacher who has taught her up to that level of playing, then she probably knows tonnes of theory, and would be able to compose pulling from that knowledge, and a variety of influences that she's learnt to play.
That will be in France but I think she'll wait untill she is 18 and finished school.
Alweyh give here time to grow .learn everything she can then the creativity will come

@@jody9450 She's alive and will be back after college and that she hasn't givin up music. I read somewhere, her friend is at the same university as Tina and talking to her. Comments are being read to her because she speaks a bit of English and she appreciate her fans.

A real fingerbuster! Any good guitarist will tell you that it's the picking hand that makes a great guitar player. Tina's picking is incredible for any player, and yet, she's only 15 in this video. An enormously talented and hard-working musician. Love your playing Tina. Please give us lots more to enjoy.
Maybe for metal players, but for music with more feel needed, the fretting hand is equally important. Doesn’t matter how good your picking hand is if the fretting hand can’t finesse the frets.
Not so. A pro guitarist told me that the picking hand is the most important for virtuosity. The legato hand learns to keep up through practice! It's only people who tap to excess and don't develop their picking skills who think that picking is not as important.
Tell that to a blues player.

not really that hard of a song to learn, just time consuming, kind of like yngwie malmsteen (hope I spelled that right) songs, they take forever to learn because they're a lot of notes, but not really too difficult
It kinda also boils down to speed and endurance really in my opinion. If the song was knocked down by some bpms, it's really not that bad. I haven't attempted this on guitar yet, but it's just based on what I hear

Question: how many times and for how long did she play this song over and over again?
That's not just talent, it's also persistance. If you take 5 minutos to peel an orange, you may be able to do so in less than 5 seconds if you try a lot, if you peel 2000 oranges a day. I've read some articles discurring about her return now and how she seems to be quite simple, quite predictable, quite somewhat weak compared to the same person of 8 years ago. Playing different songs on a daily basis can prove to be challenging though.
Still, we're all happy with her return and waiting something special from her, something we are all used to when it comes to TINA S.

King Gary Moore David Gilmour, you might ask why am I telling you this, well" he says Tina is probably one of the best guitarist is ever seen, because she plays so many different styles, but if you look around TH-cam you see all types of Ages and playing unbelievable, he showed me Tina's videos probably about 5 years ago, I can't see any new videos recent so may have to go and find out what she's doing these days,
when you're doing something that amazing, there is no mental capacity left for emotion
