    Hey Ian, I just wanted to let you know that I admire your dedication to this channel and showing all your viewers practical takes on the products you make. While still a growing channel, you remain consistent and I love how you share your experiences with verisimilitude

      Thank you! My goal with our YT channel is mainly for product education. Definelty not the usual YT channel in the sense of monetization and quest for subscriptions. Finding a more entertaining formula for sharimg info in the Field Trips series has been a plus. Wish I had time to focus more on the channel... And just adventure all the time :).

    Another great video, Ian! I love how you show multiple ways to use the new bags, including various accessories and in this case, the top loader. I’m signed up for the Green E30 with LG ML core unit. My only debate right now is whether to stick with green or go with black. First world problems, for sure. Oh yeah, you’re an amazing rep for the Japan Tourism Board. Your videos highlight images of the country I never see. Thanks!

      Thanks Steve! Appriciate the comments. Happy to showcase the area, it's given me a lot and is Shimoda's testing and development base. As for color .. tough call. I would just say if your in the mountains alot and it's sunny, it can be a heat draw.

      @sevemiller 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ShimodaDesigns Hi Ian. Hadn’t thought about the heat draw aspect. I was initially drawn to the green and considered the black yesterday but figured a little procrastination would settle the debate as I knew the black (E30 with LG ML cube) would likely be sold out by the time I woke up this morning. Sure enough…gone! Decision made! Glad you guys are doing so well with the campaign. I can’t tell you how impressed I am with the thought that went into your design and development process. Can’t wait to receive mine!

    What a wonderful video, Ian! Beautiful landscape! I really like the compactness of the E25 and the top compartment. Already have the x50 and it’s the perfect work horse, excellent bag! If you drop the animal leather on the zipper pulls I’m already sold for the next version of the E25 to add it to my arsenal. Love your work, keep it up! 💪

      @@ShimodaDesigns Ya never know. :) To be clear: I like the look of the zips. I just don't like that they're made from animal skin. Maybe you'll find another solution with one of the many great and cruelty-free artificial/leatherette materials out there in the future to keep that beautiful look of your products but also make the next step towards more sustainability. That would be awesome! 🌏🌱✌️

    Great video and beautiful scenery/photos. The top loader combo with the E25 is great design feature! Thanks for answering so many questions and posting a lot of pictures during the campaign. You've helped me decide the E25 is a great choice. I had been worried about not having my laptop with me, but the size is much better for me. Thanks again!

    Hello Ian, thak you for another great video. I really enjoy those "Whats in my camera bag on location" type of videos, because there are not many creators, who live or travell in Japan and that's a pitty, because Japan landscape/countryside is breathtaking in my opinion.
    Have a nice day!

    The toploader inside of the backpack is a great idea! Together with a small Mirrorless Core Unit core on top there is enough room for an A7 camera with one or two extra lenses and a Mavic Mini 2 set. Fantastic! I can't wait to have it here. I backed the Kickstarter for a E25 black.

    Holy cow! I have your toploader awesome how it can be used with 25! Is there any chance for extra small icu to go on top icu in 25? I have your small ICU but i think it's too long for 25. Would be cool to be able to take 2 more lenses in 25. Or maybe high small icu that would take 200-400 sony gm :)

    • @ShimodaDesigns
      @ShimodaDesigns  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In this situation you would just use the Small ML Core Unit - the reason I used a Top Loader is because I only wanted the 1 lens and body set up. P.S they are called Core Units ;)

    Thank you Ian for another video. Now stop it. I pledged the Kickstarter for the E35 V2 to go with my original E30 and you keep making me think I should focus on the E25 and go smaller rather than larger. I chose the E35 to get some more room above the Medium Core Kit for personal non-gear items that my E30 V1 does not have. that a E40 v1 might have offered. Since I can't pledge for more than one bag your E25 videos are driving me crazy :) Take care and thanks again

      A couple of GoPro Hero 9's. One with Max Wide Lens and the other set to Narrow with the stock lens. With the latest stabilization, lens options and 5k it really let's you cover a good range. Mostly it's as close as I can get to replicating a 'real user' experience and almost matshes the DJI image. Shooting on A7 would be preffered but it doesn't replicate an actual user experience for most. The small size 'keeps it real' I think. :) I would not be able to shoot this with another Mirrorless set up in the bag.
