If you dont care how her weekend was, dont ask. But if for example you like how her hair looks that day, compliment it. If she smells really pretty, ask "are you wearing perfume? Its really nice" good conversations can spark from things like that. If theres an event coming up that weekend that you want to go to, ask "yo have you heard about the music festival going on this weekend?" If you ask questions you actually care about, its obvious you're being genuine, you actually listen and retain the information. And lets be real, if you just think shes hot and nothing else really interests you, its best to probably just move along and say nothing

it's actualy simple imo: show genuine interest. if you are interested you listen to what the woman is telling you, could be any topic, and then you can ask more or add something to that, depending on the topic and how much you can relate to that. BUT if you're only busy with what you want out of the other person, you distract and sometimes even block yourself, preventing you to listen and you are lost for words since you like to get something out of the conversation, and then the irony will be you will got nothing out of it because you don't know what to say anymore. start a conversation completely open and LISTEN. thats all you have to do as a guy.

My trick is very simple just staying calm and be free don't stress yourself looking for the right words but Incase if you over ask questions it at times nags. This method always works for me
