They are currently on the ground in all of the major regions except San Francisco Region. There are only 48 on the ground at the moment, but there are over 1,000 in Allocation and Freight status. Does that answer your question? Thanks for watching!
@@AskJake Yes its does. I appreciate your allocation video's looking at the current situation with Toyota i think they are necessary .Thanks again Jake!
It will depend on each individual dealership. Some have policies that they can not and will not do mark ups. I'm sure some will go as high as $10k markups.
There isn't an official policy on that yet; it will definitely depend on a case by case basis (what is the trim, the color, is there a trade-in on the deal, etc) I'll have to get back to you when it's closer to the time of arrival
Doesn’t surprise me one bit about the allocation system it took me 18 months to get mygen 3 tacoma because I live in the wrong region go figure my region only got 30 something but I think who can sell more tacoma that’s who gets the allocations
@@AskJake I think most of it is based off what allocation request individual want for a particular model of Tacoma because mine was special allocation request a/c m/t blue that’s one reason why it took so long
Agreed. I wonder if it has to do with the types of trucks they are going to receive? Maybe they plan on selling the Pros there, and as of right now there are no Pros allocated.
I did some more digging, and apparently Hawaii is like the Gulf States and Southeast Regions where they have their own private distributor, so I'm not able to see those allocations with my current access. I wish I could help!
Getting there. 😃 250,000 more allocations are needed and the 4th quarter of 2023 is covered.
haha you got that right
I put down a $500 deposit in September to be in line for the new '24 Tacoma. It's too bad there isn't any trucks allocated to the Denver region yet.
Yeah, I’m not sure how they decide when and where the trucks go. I’m unable to check the allocations this week, but I’ll do an update next week
Great info. I think you could hit 5k subs by the end of the year with this kind of data!
Thanks so much! I appreciate you watching. If you're in any Toyota groups online, feel free to share the videos. Thank you again!
Thanks so much Jake
My pleasure!
As always, thanks Jake!

I'd imagine the TH and Pro will have more allocations for the Norcal and Denver region.
That's probably a good guess. Right now, there are no Hybrids/Pros allocated
I remember when the new models came out and were available for purchase in October or earlier. Those were good times.
I agree!!
I don’t understand this, Toyota allocated Tacoma but not pricing release yet?
I think it is all being released on Nov. 28th
Yes, they have the info, but they aren't releasing the pricing until the 28th. I'll keep you updated
What markups you doing on the Tacomas?
It will depend on each individual dealership. Some have policies that they can not and will not do mark ups. I'm sure some will go as high as $10k markups.
What markup is your dealership doing? You folks were doing $10k on the Tundra in 2022@@AskJake

The Dealership in my area specifically said they do not charge markups or market adjustments.
Looking to buy one of these in 2026
Nice!

Yeah, it is kind of strange how it gets divided up... I'm not sure what their process is.

Tried to buy a 22 Rav4 from your dealership and y’all wanted 5k over msrp for a rav4, that’s nuts
Thanks for stopping by. I'm sorry it didn't work out. I wish I had power to help on the pricing; I only work with the financing. Maybe next time!
Very odd that the Denver region has no allocations.

@@AskJake Pro's aren't due until spring of 2024 I thought?
@@BrettC1973 You might be right, I haven't heard anything.
i just had to live where the distributor is private 🙄
Dang, I wish I could get that info for you. Maybe you can reach out to a local dealer to get more info
Boston 🙌🏾
Let's Gooooo!
Have they stopped making the 2023 yet?
I think so, I saw a video were they made the last 2023 tacoma.
My new car manager said that they will still make the ones that are allocated, but they are no longer allocating them since the end of Oct.
Yes
Good intel
Thanks Mike! And thanks for watching
Is it only SR and SR5s allocated right now?

@AskJake how long for the manuals do you think?
What about Hawaii where everyone owns a Tacoma
I did some more digging, and apparently Hawaii is like the Gulf States and Southeast Regions where they have their own private distributor, so I'm not able to see those allocations with my current access. I wish I could help!
Nothing for hawaii 😢
I apologize, it looks like Hawaii has it's own distributor, so I'm not able to see those allocations.
Can u tell by state? Alaska
You have 1 allocated to Juneau. SR5 4X4 DBL
@@AskJake thanks for the information. I’ve noticed the 23 stacking up at the anchorage dealership. Toyota might have to discount them?
@@nordlandak6853 That's a possibility; it will really depend on the market, the demand, and how quickly or not they get the 2024s.
sad face in NorCal 😞
I feel you! I’ll keep you posted though
Toyota is dumb. No car or truck at the dealer. Buy American.
