Knowing I’m a couple of years late to the party, I still like to say, thank you for the most comprehensive review on this marvelous vehicle. Going on my 3rd RX 350 2015-2018-2022 (Still have all 3) I can unequivocally attest they are the best I’ve ever driven, yes youth passes by and I’m left wishing for smooth comfortable seats and ride, safety features, great outward visibility and the ironclad Lexus reliability, the RX 350 checks all these boxes, oh and the powerful V6 engine (only until the 2022 model) is designed to run on cheaper 87 octane gasoline, these were in my humble opinion, the last of the finest. I’m 66 and I’ll keep those until my furlough here on earth is revoked, thank you.

Regenerative braking is only a secondary source of recharging the hybrid battery. The main way it recharges is via the gas engine.

17 diff combos?😂. If only 4 out of 8 can shut down....that cannot add to 17 diff combos..... No matter how you math it. Will ask my algebra teacher this week, but 4 cyl running and 4 able to shut off individually cannot produce 17 combos

So if I don't commute and my daily drive is about 6-7miles in the morning and about the same in the afternoon, will it be enough to charge the batteries? Does the batteries need to have charge for the hybrid engine to work? Just wondering if for a daily driver if it is better to get the 3.5 engine without the hybrid option. Pls let me know. thank you

If u have a daily commute of 5-7 miles in the morning and another 5-7miles in the afternoon of city drive. Is it worth the hybrid. Is that enough to charge the battery. I was told having a hybrid for no commuters wont work since batteries will hardly charge. What about for this engine?? Thanks

I have this 2022 RX 350 Luxury edition in the graphite grey. The only surprise and disappointment is that Lexus did not include the kick sensor for the rear tailgate.

Can you do a video on how to connect to CarPlay on the 2024 Sienna via Bluetooth? I can play music from my phone on my Sienna but can't get Carplay so I can't access Google maps on CarPlay.

How about the 2021 Camry? I cant get mine to connect.

Apple carplay is working wirelessly in 2024 Corolla. But when I use apple maps and drive, the digital speedometer disappers. Is there a fix to this? The integrated display shows just turns ahead when connected to the maps.

@AskJake Please stop spreading false information. I am a musician (Saxophonist & Drummer/Percussionist) and recording engineer with a professional home recording studio. 95% of music these days is recorded completely in DIGITAL format. This has been true for at least the last 30+ years! Even if a recording was originally made in Analog, it DOES NOT "lose quality when it is converted to digital"! That is a 100% False Statement that ML wants you to believe, and that his products somehow "fix" and "replace" the supposed lost information and quality which is impossible. The only time ANY Audio (whether or not it is analog or digital) loses quality is if the original Lossless recording is converted to a Highly Compressed digital format such as low bitrate MP3 (less than 256kbps), OR if it is copied multiple times in analog format where it will lose quality with each successive generation. Digital formats do not have this issue. Even in controlled, level-matched, blind listening tests, 99% of people CANNOT hear a difference between an original Lossless CD Quality Recording (16-bit @ 44.1kHz sample rate which plays at a bit rate of 1,411kbps) and a "lossy/compressed" MP3 file at just 320kbps. The ML systems use DSP with frequency-specific phase manipulation, EQ, and sometimes added "reverb" in order to "enhance" the music and "improve" the perceived "sound stage". These added EFX are NOT in the original lossless recording. IF you really want to hear a truly "high end" car audio system, look up the Online schedules for any of the Car Audio Sound Quality Competition events that may be happening near you. Yes, this is a "thing"... Search for IASCA, MECA, SQology, or MASQ car audio organizations for their event schedules. The competitors who participate in these events with aftermarket SQ (Sound Quality) audio systems are usually happy to give anyone a free demo of their system if you ask politely and if they have the available time. The ML and other "Premium" sound systems for automobiles also use Volume-Dependent EQ and DSP to help prevent the cheap speakers they use from blowing up and to try and make them sound better than they really are. The Volume-Dependent EQ actually REDUCES the lowest midbass and bass frequencies as you turn the volume up to keep their cheap speakers from blowing up from over excursion. The goal for the OEM auto manufacturer is to spend as little as possible on the additional "premium" sound system so that the OEM & Dealer profit margins are as high as possible. So they rely on DSP tricks and manipulation of the sound instead of actually using truly high quality speakers and amplifiers. In a true high end aftermarket car audio system, there are no such compromises or limitations, and MUCH BETTER speakers and subwoofers are used, as well as better amplifiers and proper implementation of DSP without any gimmicks. Yeah, I realize this is an old video, but it still pops up in recommendations and many people still see it. It is obvious by the other real-world owners of these vehicles with ML systems that have commented here that most of these "premium" ML systems DO NOT perform up to the claimed standards or live up to the hype and high price.
