I’d love to see a picture of your air cleaner set up. I have the same van except mine is a 350. These 7.3 vans have terrible air cleaner housings, they almost always crack and try to sand your engine!! If what you did works good I’d love to know what filter it is and how well it fits. Also do you think it gets too much hot air being so far back over the engine? Your getting big power with your set up so apparently it’s not hurting it too much!!! 😊 thanks for the informative video!!
This is super awesome as I also have a 2001 E450 7.3 shuttle bus and I love these trucks. You should really figure out something better for the air filter because your sucking and a lot of 190ﾟ radiator air... killer rig brother.
Giveaway. HE351CW 62x67 or 67x67?! The 63mm blade is too heavy for my liking for a daily driver. Or a 2nd gen manifold and turbo upgrade swap for the 3rd gen dodges would be sweet! The rest of the swap should be manageable to source the rest of the parts and pieces. Unless you wanted to do a whole kit ?!?!!
For the give away, I would love one of your hx35s with the original split exhaust housing and the 67 compressor and turbine. I'm planning to get one from you when I build my next Cummins. Thanks!
If it's stock fuel (injectors) with bills 140 tune it's not gonna make 450. Real numbers are 300-330 to wheels or trucks with your extra weight and drivetrain lose your gonna be close to 300 ish. Joey s hpop typically do well but his warranty is a joke we done quick few and he won't respond and has not returned my hpop for warranty. Hydra is awesome due to be user friendly . Very familiar with these engines do alot side work and small builds I have to 7.3 s and a 6.0 . My 7?4 makes over 500 rwhp. For my choice I wanna see a7.3 kit or turbo with OBS turbine and 1.00 house and you 67mm kit. Love the videos follow and watch you videos quite alot been thinks about come down to the shop in Stuart ,VA like 4 he from me. Keep up the good work.
We bought a universal kit on eBay, I think I bought a 52”, you should measure the length of the roof to get the right size because ours was a little too short which is why we had to add spacers. Between the bracket and light bar.
Turbo Lab America yeah I need the stock exhaust brake for towing and since they're coming down on deleted hotshots ... gotta stay stock for the time being
Ya didn’t plan on it but that’s what you get when you buy a ford. This truck was owned by a Toyota dealership, and seemed to be never maintained. I also changed the idm 2 times and icp 2 times, and the ipr 1 time
@@turbolabamerica I know what you went through. Those E 450 van chassis are a complete pain to work on. Our shop used to do all the county and city ambulances and there was nothing that you could fix on them that didn't require removing 20 other things so you could get to where you could access anything you were repairing on them.

I don’t have that, last time I rebuilt a set of those I got the parts from spturbo I think, just search 6.4 powerstroke turbo rebuild kit

What full aluminum radiator did you use? Was it one for one of the truck chassis?
Ian said it was the only one on eBay for the e450. The F series have different radiator hoses that the e450 so it likely the radiator is different too
