Absolutely a FACT, if you own a MT07 you WILL regret selling it. I went from a MT07 to a MT09 SP and I freaking love the way the MT09 SP handled. My gf then began riding my MT07 and I occasionally took off on the MT07 on my way to work. That commute was always more enjoyable than the MT09 SP. It made me not care she'd be mad I took her bike instead of mine. Even now having gone back to my favourite bike ever the R6, I still think about getting another MT07 just for fun to cruise on.
Couldn’t disagree more. Upgraded from an MT07 to an MT09SP and have never once regretted the move. The 09SP is better in every measurable way except possibly the sound department but that is subjective. I never felt the 07 fit me that great but the 09 felt perfect the second I got on it. Different strokes for different folks
@@ToxemicHunter The MT09 SP is a incredible bike no doubt there, but the raw hooligan fun on a MT07 is just better IMO. That said having both of them I still found my way back to a 2018 R6 because sportbikes will forever be my preferred 🏍. It's great you love your MT09 SP, it's all round the best naked bike at least that's what I think.
Mind sharing more details on what you enjoyed more on the mt07? I am a new rider and sat on the mt03/07/09. Was looking at the mt03 but the mt07 also has my eye. Just wondering if its too much power for a beginner...
@@JMang101 The MT07 is more power and torque then nearly all 1st time riders can handle. If you've never rode a motorcycle or dirt bike before or driven a manual drive car then I'd suggest starting on something like the MT03 if you want a naked bike or a Ninja 400 if you want a faired sportbike. Without rider aids and ride by wire throttle I've seen more than a few new riders get whiskey throttle and wheelie and loop their bike within mins of being on it. There's nothing wrong with starting on a lower CC bike especially one that's always popular and will hold it's resale value for when you go to upgrade. Then it comes down to how often you'll be riding to determine how long you'll be before considering upgrading your bike. If you ride only on the weekends I'd say give your first bike a year to fully build your riding fundamentals. If you'll be riding more like it'll be your daily then 4 to 5 months of riding in all kinds of weather will have you ready to go for something bigger, but I'd suggest waiting till like the fall time for deals on the new bike while selling your beginner bike will still fetch good returns albeit still kinda gonna take a small loss. All in all I'd only recommend a MT07 if you've previous riding experience. Also don't skimp on gear especially an airbag vest from Alpinestar.
Something about 75 HP and 48 lbs of torque with a light frame and a upright naked package. You don't need rider aids of any kind. That is the dark truth.
I own a 2018 MT07 for 3 years now. It is my first bike, I also have a 24 Grom. The MT has good torque , flickable/lightweight.. I don't NEED a bigger bike, I'll probably buy a bigger bike one day but I don't see me selling my first bike, I LOVE it! Perfect bike for me. Torque over HP any day!
Nice! Definitely keep the MT-07. The big bikes are fun but they bring speeding tickets and you don't even use the power that much to justify having one unless you ride track. It is so much more fun whipping these little torquey bikes around in the city than putting around town on a big bike, the big bikes get so hot too and sucks in the summer.
I’ve ridden everything from liter bikes to Harleys and have not found anything close to the MT07 feeling. Comfortable, confidence inspiring, and at the same time a straight hooligan bike
My Ducati Multistrada is down for maintenance & repairs and literally do not mind nor care to work on it thanks to my FZ-07....it's such an amazing bike....it's basically a 700cc Japanese Ducati Monster.
Watched so many vids ripping the R7 for not being an R6 and still grabbed one new, because man if you live in packed city filtering, jumping stop light to stop light 90% of the time, these bikes are still fun. Healthy aftermarket, with lots of examples for working on the bike and a tank of an engine.
R6 is a great bike but for the TRACK, terribly uncomfortable and lacks bottom end grunt around town, the MT-07/R7 is so much better for riding around town. Akrapovic exhaust on the MT-07/R7 is amazing.
CC every time I watch one of your vids I get totally excited to ride. You're a true rider - you get excited whether it's a CBR9000RRRRRR or a scooter. Ride ride ride!
Nice! Seeing comments like yours is what keeps me doing videos. I aim to motivate others to ride. You are right, I can have fun riding all the motorcycles, small and big. I just love everything on two wheels. Stay safe!
Dude. I'm a middle-aged guy, and I have had a dream about having a bike since i was a kid.. i finally made the decision to have one. Yeah, i had enough argument with my girl about having a bike, but i finally convinced her. 😂😂😂 So, long story short. The only bike i drove was rs125 when i was teens. I believe that was a 2-stroke engine bike, and i quite liked it. Now, i want that feeling back to my heart, and i feel like this yamaha mt07 would give that feeling. How does it feel like comparing other 2 strokes engine bikes? especially Aprilia bikes. ❤
So far I do not have that issue. I bought a 2024 MT09 and stopped using my MT07. Then I traded my 07 for a 24 Panigale and to this day, I do not miss my 07. I love my 09 and Pani alot.
For hood cruising you can't beat the MT-07. One day you'll get the speed demon out of your blood and be ready to cruise, most people end up on a Harley but I believe the MT-07 is much better than most Harleys.
I hear ya brotha! I’m currently riding on a Ninja 500 for my first bike ever and I love it. I have ridden a CBR 600RR, GSR 600 & a ZX6R. Don’t get me wrong those bikes are something else when it comes to speed but it’s just something about the smaller displacements bikes that has that gem 💎 to it. I’m also glad that I’ve found your video because the MT07 is definitely a 2nd bike I got my eyes set on. And it’s right under $10K my 500 was $6,500. I truly believe that MT07 is one of those bikes you gotta have.
Absolute truth (because I’ve ridden an mt07 800 miles in two days & own a 2022xsr900), both bikes is all you need. Xsr700/MT07 are perfect bikes. Raw, best gas mileage, bulletproof. It will be my touring bike. BUT the new gen XSR900….🤟🏻👌🏻. All you need is both those bikes and that’s it.
MT07 content is why I enjoy your channel so much! Admittedly I own the Suzuki version (GSX 8S) and while I could debate looks, specs., and even price (in my area) I think the overall rider experience is very similar. Awesome bikes who's best spec. is its "fun factor"!
Im going on 3 yrs w/ my MT10 and I tell other riders all the time how much I love it, but I admit that the bike is way beyond my capabilities. Its hard getting the mt10 close to its potential on public rds. I can imagine the mt07 is a blast to daily ride
MT-07 my fantasy as is the SV 650 but clearly unless I relocate I will never afford one. I wonder how much the MT- 03 would cost in Kampala, probably as much as prime land over here. Anyway glad to see you having a blast. Hey, I love my bike too
i currently own the MT07 after having taking my lessons on the SV650, i can recommend both! the SV650 is a little bit more bulky and heavier than the mt07 but both are really nice
Was it broke? Lol I thought the 2021+ gen was pretty ironed out over the previous gens anyway? I mean I'm glad if the 2024 is even better but "fixed"? My guess pretty much the same bike save styling and some minore refinements?
I sat on the new gen MT-09, still the same geometry, doesn't have that laid back feel like the MT-07 but I guess the MT-09 is supposed to be more sporty. I bought my MT-07 instead of a cruiser (Harley). To me, I see the MT-07 as my cruiser.
@@CycleCruzaim in between getting the 07 and a cruiser. The 07 is my dream bike but i want something comfy. The seating position seems appealing. I need to try them out.
Does the throttle have a choppy on off jerky feel? Does the shifting feel clunky at times? Did you feel any buzz or vibration in the bars, seat or feet? Thanks
I have a 17 FZ07 and really love it. I’ve owned many sport bikes over the years and this little bike is the most fun to ride. It’s crazy how light and flickable the 07 is. I 100% agree that rider aids detract from the riding experience. Drive by wire sucks on anything.
If I'm not mistaken, he hasn't done a Kawasaki yet *z750 from 2010s don't have rider aids, just Abs* . 0-60mph in 3.5s 0-70mph in 1st gear ⚙️ *thick back tyres* 🔥🫡😎
Cool! Yeah I have yet to own a Kawasaki or a Suzuki. I nearly bought a nearly brand H2 once, sorry I didn't because that bike would actually be worth more now but I knew that bike would get me speeding tickets. lol
@@CycleCruza I mean yeah, *You know You* 😂 The big cats unleash the Dragon 🐲 in you same for me when I randomly meet a handful of riders on a red light...🤣 We all looking at each other, let some burble sound out, Red ...... 🚥 Yellow GONE 🔥🏁 🤣💨💨 Next red light, same thing I get ya 🤣💨💨
I had an SV650. Bought a Street Triple 765 and I’m in a position where I miss the twin power for city riding. The street triple would be a much better highway ride, but I don’t ride highway. I like backroads and city lane filtering. Makes me think MT-07 would be best fit.
I upgraded from the mt07 to the mt10 and as much as I love the 10 it’s just more power than I can use where I live it never gets out of 3rd gear and it’s just not as practical at the 7 i sometimes think of seeking the 10 and getting another 7 and an adv bike
That's why I dropped back to the smaller torquey bikes. You hardly ever use the top end power and when you do you risk losing your license . The only way to really enjoy the top end power is at the track and it is much safer but I'm too cheap for the track.
The dark truth is that this concept was first created with the Husqvarna Nuda 900R, then Yamaha made a copy and created the MT-07. Same goes for the MT-09 which was born with the MV Agusta Brutale 675. I'm just surprised they didnt copy the 690 SMCR yet.
I wanted a Nuda in the US! I wish they put that engine in the Vitpilen. I wanted a twin! The vitpilen was so light though, would have been awesome with that Nuda engine.
Hey CycleCruza! I just picked up this exhaust for my MT-07 and was wondering how you managed to remove the baffle from it. Even with the screw removed it doesn’t budge at all to pliers with a towel. Any tips? Thanks in advance, love the content lately!
Sold my 07 got an 09. Honestly really enjoyed the 09 and it taught me a lot but I always missed the 07. Just recently sold it and got a zx10r because I wanted to try a super sport but I am definitely interested in picking up another 07
Any model with the CP2 is probably great. If you are into ADV bikes you can't go wrong with a ADV bike with the CP2 engine. I'm not big on ADV bikes right now, but if I ever get into touring I would get one, they make the best touring motorcycls.
@@CycleCruza I haven’t had my wr250r long enough to know if it’ll be good for longer trips and my r1 is definitely not going to be a all day ride. Thinking a t7 would fit in nice with my other bikes.
I thought you're done with any reviews on MT-07. Still new videos coming out for the MT-07. Freaking proofs of how great and awesome the bike is. Regardless of the year. I love my MT-07!
good explaination of paper facts vs real riding. the facts help of course but its deffffffff not 100% of the experience im 6ft 250lbs, and i did a ktech klite shock with correct spring, with the dave moss fork mod, (he actually lives 3 miles down the road from me). bike is completely diff in the turns and even commuting.. love it even more now.. just did the new lower clutch arm on the fz for 35% easier clutch pull, it feels more like a ktm hydro clutch now... camel adv and others make them, most companies label them for tenere700 tho, so alot of fz/mt07 guys dont even know about them
@@CycleCruza the shock was about $500 with the spring.i installed. i did forks, fork job cost was $20 for fork oil, and 90mins of time.. fork oil swap is insanely easy. you only remove fork cap, dump oil, replace oil, reinstall forks, wheel, done. ... 20w oil, 400cc of oil........ the job only becomes a pain when you do fork seals or cartridge install, and gota remove the bottom bolt that spins freely.. but my impact busted it loose when i did fork seals. since im 250lbs he recommended i dont cut the fork spacers like somebody your weight WOULD cut the spacers, and i love it man! if your familiar with tire wear, and how it can show your suspension settings and/or psi are incorrect.. well what you want to see on the rear is what resembles a "beach with the tide going out".. and the ktech shock gave me that tire wear right out the box!! i was also runnign 31f / 33r psi, dave said goto 36 fr and rear, set when cold! ... and it made a huge positive impact!
I know what you mean. I presently ride the FJ-09, and way more than I need. I needed a bike that can do interstates, but now I ride the mountains of Tennessee, and don't need so much power, speed and weight, esp w/ the Police traps here in east TN. I ride more now a Honda CB500x which is OK to a point, but not near the fun of the Yamaha FJ-09 or the MT-07 I tested. A great compromise would be the Tracer 7, but not coming to America soon or ever. Turning the MT-07 into a mini touring bike, just wouldn't look or feel right.
Came from cb500x, and mto7 is better in every possible way, its even lower. One complaint is the noise, I love the noise until I want to practice wheelies. I don't dare hang around the same spot for long. Another complaint is my brakes keep dragging cuz there's no spring pushing the pads apart. Otherwise I love this thing and on it every day.
With you on the MT-07 chassis. The MT-09 kinda made feel like I was sitting on a chair backwards (if that makes sense). Don’t care for the ergonomics how high the tank sweeps up.
@cyclecruza dude i bought most of your mt07 upgrades and i LOVE them. thank you for making your videos man, you have a great head on your shoulders. i just recently bought a black 2024 mt07 and slapped that akrapovic exhaust on it. i was thinking of taking db out but im afraid of dropping the screw inside. might do what u did and hold it upside down as i screw it out so it just falls out. thanks again brother ur awesome
I have been riding my mt07 for the last year incorrectly. I have been riding like I was riding my bro gxr holding the first three gears long and this cause the bike to jerk hard. Then I start banging through the first three gears and boy what a difference! The dark truth-the mt07 is one of the best motorcycles to ride in NYC.
That is what I'm talking about. the low down grunty torque on the MT-07 is awesome for city riding and it is so comfortable, laidback and chill with a great soundtrack with a pipe. I actually went to the dealership to buy a cruiser and ended up ordering a MT-07 instead at a Harley dealership. lol They said it was their best seller and stayed on back order. If people test rode a MT-07 they would not buy a Harley, however, the MT-07 is always sold out so you have to buy one to ride one.
Man so accurate. I have rode a 2022 MT07 and really loved it. The front suspension is sloppy imo but the rear was solid. I ended up buying a 2022 CF Moto 650 NK brand new with 1 mile for $5800 out the door instead and totally have no regrets. It's 70hp/45tq from a 650cc and weighs about 40 lbs more but honestly, I really love it. Very reliable, steel braided brake lines factory, TFT display with Bluetooth. Overall I have no regrets at all and saved about $3000 with a comparable bike with better features.
@@neoplatonistzombie true. I saved a ton of money with better suspension tires, steel braided brake lines, JJuan (brembo owned) brakes and has a clone Kawasaki 650 engine that has been perfectly fine and runs great. Has better technology TFT/Bluetooth/GPS/Ride modes/ABS. I've had Yamahas and they were great but for the money, CF Moto is a great alternative. I have NO REGRETS. Also has a 2 year warranty unlike yamaha.
@@iam.marcus9254 I was just being a dick for no reason man, i'm sure the CFmoto will be plenty reliable and a blast to ride (i've never ridden one). Enjoy!
@@neoplatonistzombie it's all good bro.. I truly understand. I was same way until I rode CF Moto and realized it's quality is as good of not better than Japanese. No judgement to your opinion. All love here bro.
@@neoplatonistzombiemy CF Moto has been nothing less than good. No issues whatsoever and I ride the shit out of it. It's been the best bike I have owned rated by reality of riding it. Very happy with CF Moto quality. No regrets.
Cycle Cruza. I really enjoyed MY MT-07. And I bought mines from watching your videos. What I see Fun to Ride matters more than being Stats warrior. Comfortable riding is under look. But this isn’t a Speed Demon motorcycle. But If I were buy another motorcycle, I am never selling my MT-07.
The indicator switch and horn are too small and fiddly, and I agree that the seat and forks aren’t great. Apart from that it’s a very good bike. I have a 2021 model.
I rode the R7(same engine) the vibration. Is it just as bad on your bike. It was extremely annoying on the R7. I’m sure you get used to it, but I was glad to be back on my inline four. What do you think?
Hmm, I don't have any issues what so ever on my MT-07 with vibration or any yamaha that I've had including my yz450fx. I love inline 4's too, but the single and twin are my favorite.
I have had my MT-07 since 2016, it's been an awesome bike i did my motorcycle test on it and have owned it for a long time and now i am selling it to move onto the new 2024 MT-09 SP. My dealer got a new MT-09 SP coming in stock on August 12th, so i am looking forward to a new experience in my riding chapter.
@CycleCruza no issues at all, great bike, light and maneuverable. Yes it's not fast but I'm a beginner so my next upgrade will be the MT07..I appreciate your honest review.
Love the 2024 MT-07 but feel restricted on twisties when the road isnt perfect. The front suspension doesn’t feel secure enough to take even small bumps through a decent amount of lean angle. Im probably 180lbs, have rear shock on 3rd setting.
Upgrade the fork, it isn't that expensive and will make a big difference. I don't know why Yamaha won't make SP version with upgraded suspension. the MT-07 is their best selling motorcycle of all time, usually always sold out at every dealership and has to be ordered. Yamaha doesn't make great decisions sometimes, like the softening the suspension on the new YZ450FX, I'm glad I did not sell my 2019 YZ450FX.
I love almost everything about the mt07.... It's just the weight I don't like. They may be a lot lighter than other bikes, but to me I find them heavy as fuck. I prefer super lightweight bikes .
The MT07 was one of the first bikes I have been looking at as my first bike.. I don't know why I love the looks and It would have all the power I'd ever want. But people have been saying get a dual sport or Super moto. But I think I'd be too heavy for those. lol.
I love my FZ07 it’s a 2017 model I bought it from my best friend it with 19,000 miles and I put on 20,000 miles on this bike is not going it's so much fun matter fact my best friend definitely miss the FZ07
I've never been on a FZ07 (I have a 2015 FZ09) because I'm a bigger dude (5'9" @ 260lbs) and I'd look weird af on that bike. The FZ09 fits me better but Im still kinda big for it.
I saw an even bigger dude on a Honda Grom. Honestly, I think many riders worry about other people's perception of them but people really don't care, it should only be about what you like. For some people, they prefer the MT-09 or MT-10 and that is cool too. Everybody has their own preferences.
CC. Not trying to dis your MT07. I wanted one when they came out. Looks good, Sounds good and its a Yamaha. It felt small to me and it doesn't sound nearly as cool as H D with exhaust.
I think you are right about the MT07. I would love to hear what you have to say about the KTM 890 SMT. Can you look into maybe that being your next bike?
@@rebellucy6200 I live in Florida so mostly everywhere is a long strip and highway to get there. Everytime I see cc I reinvent my love for the bike. Ahhhhh the struggle
The CP3 engine on the MT-09 is awesome but I just don't like the chassis on it. See if you can get a test ride on a MT-09 and let me know what you think. MT-07 outsells the MT-09 by a large margin. I had dealerships begging me to buy a MT-09 with all kinds of discounts but with the MT-07 they are always sold out and on back order. For those looking for a more laidback cruiser feel the MT-07 is much better than the MT-09 in that regard.
Thats my first bike. Already did 1000km in 13 days. 🤣 (license is 15 days old) Ill be honest tho, im ready for my next bike 🤣 (so far, the tiger 900 from triumph.)
Non usd forks, composit handlebar risers, axial brakes, literally not like anything else in the Mt line, they should have called it something else. Chaos Causes did a great vid on this.
I've been waiting for them to redesign it properly. Yamaha needs to hire Italian designers. Japan seems to love to make their motorcycles look like robots🤖 lol
@CycleCruza Right. I was lucky to be able to get my 1st gen in May 2022, the last one in my area for hundreds of miles. I like the look of it waaaaay more than the 2nd gen. I know you didn't care for the 1st gen either, but I love their looks if they are modded right (to my tastes) Hoping the 3rd gen looks awesome but not counting on it lol
As fun as the 7 no doubt is it is a real problem If you are riding with groups of full powered bikes....(same with the 690s) I mean any kind of straight sections of road the faster bikes are simply GONE....if that is not a problem for you or you live in a place full of cops and dont have endless miles of glorious mountain canyon roads? Everyone is holding well back ANYWAY? Then sure why not buy a 7 or any other lower powered bike with a motor full of character if you like em...enjoy it have fun.....but Im just SAYING is all....lol the 7 (MT or R it dont matter) or any of the mid displacement 650ish twins really (unless they are seriously high end top of the heap high strung for power at high rpm? like maybe Aprillia 660 idk?) I mean you are settling for less.....but hey an R7 on a track against a bunch of OTHER R7? THAT is fun that is fine! And no on public streets no one should be racing but the fact is riding with others of comparable ability? Either your bike can hang or it can not....and hey if they are really your pals they will stop and wait for you....while waiting they will horse aroud and have discussions you wont be a part of....when you FINALLY show up they are ready to take off again....rinse and repeat. Just something to consider when choosing a model....or not if you are all solo and dont care kinda thing And hey on the bright side? That MT07 or R7? will flat leave the 390s in your DUST...if that makes you feel better
The suspension isn't bad at all for lightweight folks, if you're heavier, a fork upgrade makes it much better. Yamaha needs to make a SP version for the MT-07, it outsells all other Yamahas and probably the best selling motorcycle out of all the motorcycles today.
I almost got an MT07 used, but somebody beat me to the punch. Meow I got a cb500f. In the future I want something bigger. Either another honda cb1000r, or a MT09, or 10. I'm done with small engines. I want something still naked sport but bigger that can handle me 5ft 12inches and 380Ib. People around suggested me a Harley cruiser. I don't like Harley unless it's a Vrod. I like small motorsickles.
My helmet flows a lot of air, I wouldn't want any more air flow. I always wear ear plugs no matter what, there is a false belief that there is a quiet helmet. Some helmets are more quiet than others but no helmet will protect your hearing. Always wear ear plugs. Many old bikers that have been riding for decaeds have tinnitus because they never wore ear plugs.
@@CycleCruza oh wow. thats cool then. I have a Ls2 carbon thunder race helmet but i regard it as a cool weathered friend. Thanks for the content fun cc. keep it up ok

Stop! I just sold mine last week and you’re making me feel bad haha
Sounds like the original Kawasaki H2 750💨💨💨
I love how basic it is. Just an ECU & a Dash. Some have ABS.
@MotoKringles
My first bike was an 02 CBR 600. Sold it and own a modded 23’ Grom now. I wish I never sold the 600. Looking to get an MT07 to add now.
I am back on your channel. Have a MT 07. I am 69 years old and love the bike. Great video!
Im 60 yrs. old and traded my ninja 650 for the new 2024 mt07. easy to ride, upright position, and pleanty of torque.
Awesome! Cool to see you back and on a MT-07. Stay safe and have fun! 👍
The fuel cap spoiler is pretty cool
LOL 🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰
Those people are very dumb because R7 was never meant to be a supersport like an R6 theyre totally different leagues.
R7 for road, R6 for racetrack.
Stay safe!
@@CycleCruza Same. I have a 125 up to a 1300. It's all good to me!
Dude. I'm a middle-aged guy, and I have had a dream about having a bike since i was a kid.. i finally made the decision to have one. Yeah, i had enough argument with my girl about having a bike, but i finally convinced her. 😂😂😂
So, long story short.
Love my 2023 MT07. Just the right size, power and price. Only bad thing is thing is the ignition key placement.
Nice! Yeah the ignition placement is weird but not a big deal.
Every time I put it in a Say a little prayer that I don’t snap the key😂
Im going on 3 yrs w/ my MT10 and I tell other riders all the time how much I love it, but I admit that the bike is way beyond my capabilities. Its hard getting the mt10 close to its potential on public rds.
I can imagine the mt07 is a blast to daily ride
Bro, your joyful laugh made my day... I'm gonna have to test drive one
God Bless.
Went from a 2018 cb300f to a tuned '22 mt07. Havent stopped smiling since
Nice! 👍
I love my MT07. Riding it regularly now that my wife’s car is totaled. I forgot how free it was to ride.
Just passed my test on MT 07 , I will be buying one soon
MT-07 my fantasy as is the SV 650 but clearly unless I relocate I will never afford one. I wonder how much the MT- 03 would cost in Kampala, probably as much as prime land over here. Anyway glad to see you having a blast. Hey, I love my bike too
i currently own the MT07 after having taking my lessons on the SV650, i can recommend both! the SV650 is a little bit more bulky and heavier than the mt07 but both are really nice
@MrDeltaSniper leaving my dream. 👍👍👍👍
You need to try the new, 2024, iteration of the MT09. The chassis performance has been fixed.
Was it broke? Lol I thought the 2021+ gen was pretty ironed out over the previous gens anyway? I mean I'm glad if the 2024 is even better but "fixed"? My guess pretty much the same bike save styling and some minore refinements?
@@dougiequick1 Yes, 'fixed' may be extreme. 'Improved' from the last generation. The front end is more planted.
Nice!
Hey watch your mouth CycleCruza ! Its not just a bike. it's a Yamaha-Davidson! Never forget that🍻
🤣
If I'm not mistaken, he hasn't done a Kawasaki yet
*z750 from 2010s don't have rider aids, just Abs* .
0-60mph in 3.5s
0-70mph in 1st gear ⚙️
*thick back tyres* 🔥🫡😎
Cool! Yeah I have yet to own a Kawasaki or a Suzuki. I nearly bought a nearly brand H2 once, sorry I didn't because that bike would actually be worth more now but I knew that bike would get me speeding tickets. lol
@@CycleCruza I mean yeah, *You know You* 😂
The big cats unleash the Dragon 🐲 in you
same for me when I randomly meet a handful of riders on a red light...🤣
We all looking at each other,
let some burble sound out,
Red ...... 🚥 Yellow GONE 🔥🏁
🤣💨💨
Next red light, same thing
I get ya 🤣💨💨
I had an SV650. Bought a Street Triple 765 and I’m in a position where I miss the twin power for city riding. The street triple would be a much better highway ride, but I don’t ride highway. I like backroads and city lane filtering. Makes me think MT-07 would be best fit.
I upgraded from the mt07 to the mt10 and as much as I love the 10 it’s just more power than I can use where I live it never gets out of 3rd gear and it’s just not as practical at the 7 i sometimes think of seeking the 10 and getting another 7 and an adv bike
I switched from MT07 to MT10 and feel the same way. I have considered getting MT 09 though.
That's why I dropped back to the smaller torquey bikes. You hardly ever use the top end power and when you do you risk losing your license . The only way to really enjoy the top end power is at the track and it is much safer but I'm too cheap for the track.
@@CycleCruza I agree with you 100%. Track days can get expensive very fast
The vitpilen was so light though, would have been awesome with that Nuda engine.
love my 24’ MT07
absolutely amazing!
does EXTREMELY well on highways!
Amazing on city roads too!!!!
can’t beat it!!!!!!
I drove me crazy the tank cap was up! I can't believe you rode with the cap up on the tank hahahaha, too focused on the Rrrrriiidee.
Hey CycleCruza! I just picked up this exhaust for my MT-07 and was wondering how you managed to remove the baffle from it. Even with the screw removed it doesn’t budge at all to pliers with a towel. Any tips? Thanks in advance, love the content lately!
It takes some effort but it’ll come out!
is the intro a homage to Jake the Garden snake or Rod Kimble from Hot Rod I need to know
Hi what is the best diet for riding a motorcycle?
I like the mt- 07 but bought it's cousin, tenere 700. I came from a drz-400 so it feels like a big dual sport. The cp2 motor is a beast.
Sold my 07 got an 09. Honestly really enjoyed the 09 and it taught me a lot but I always missed the 07. Just recently sold it and got a zx10r because I wanted to try a super sport but I am definitely interested in picking up another 07
I think it is good to try all of the different power bikes but you eventually realize the smaller bikes are more beneficial in the city.
I’m looking for a beginner bike and a dealership suggested the mt-07 or a ninja 500, do you have any advice between the two?
What do you think about the T7 ?
Same engine as the mt and r7 but in a lighter weight adventure bike ?
T7 is heavy af
Any model with the CP2 is probably great. If you are into ADV bikes you can't go wrong with a ADV bike with the CP2 engine. I'm not big on ADV bikes right now, but if I ever get into touring I would get one, they make the best touring motorcycls.
@@donkeizluv compared to other adv bikes it’s the lightest
@@CycleCruza I haven’t had my wr250r long enough to know if it’ll be good for longer trips and my r1 is definitely not going to be a all day ride. Thinking a t7 would fit in nice with my other bikes.
@@Tampa_tom on paper yes. But its one of the most top heavy. I traded it for a 790 and couldn't be happier
I thought you're done with any reviews on MT-07. Still new videos coming out for the MT-07. Freaking proofs of how great and awesome the bike is. Regardless of the year. I love my MT-07!
You're so right! I love my 2022 Mt07! More than enough power and super agile in traffic.
good explaination of paper facts vs real riding.
the facts help of course but its deffffffff not 100% of the experience
im 6ft 250lbs, and i did a ktech klite shock with correct spring, with the dave moss fork mod, (he actually lives 3 miles down the road from me). bike is completely diff in the turns and even commuting.. love it even more now..
just did the new lower clutch arm on the fz for 35% easier clutch pull, it feels more like a ktm hydro clutch now... camel adv and others make them, most companies label them for tenere700 tho, so alot of fz/mt07 guys dont even know about them
Nice! How much did it cost you to do the suspension upgrade?
I just want an off road MT07. But the T7 us too big... so I'm thinking KTM 690 but the reliability with KTM... ugh.
Very much between this and an SV650X. I know this is more of a hoon bike, but I've always wanted the V-twin in the SV.
I’m loving my MT07 even more now that i put the Yosh on it
Real truth is: if you're a surfer who enjoys playing in hurricanes 🌀, get on board 😅
The roads look really smooth 😂
With you on the MT-07 chassis. The MT-09 kinda made feel like I was sitting on a chair backwards (if that makes sense). Don’t care for the ergonomics how high the tank sweeps up.
This is gonna be my first bike I can’t wait
Have you ever tried a go cruise control, There pretty good to give your hands a break
Is it original steering wheel?
Would you recommend it as a beginner bike? I'm 34 finally said fu€k it wanting to do something that's not a cruiser cuz im the outsider mostly lol
Except that it’s a CFMoto and not a Yamaha
No regrets.
I’m glad I chose the mt07 as my first bike.
Nice! Definitely keep the MT-07. I see my MT-07 as my urban hood cruiser, feels and sounds so good around town. Such a cool bike
I've got a 7,and a 9...I'm thinking of selling the 7.
But that sound...got the akra underslung..it sounds apocalyptic!
But the 9 for me takes it
I own MT07 2024 pure , and only thing I don't like about it is seat and front forks are not adjustable ... but that can be upgraded
What are your thoughts on the CB650r. Test ride one
Classic beauty
I have had my MT-07 since 2016, it's been an awesome bike i did my motorcycle test on it and have owned it for a long time and now i am selling it to move onto the new 2024 MT-09 SP.
My dealer got a new MT-09 SP coming in stock on August 12th, so i am looking forward to a new experience in my riding chapter.
Nothing like a cycle cruza review 😅..i have the baby cf moto 300 NK and I'm seriously considering the Mt07 as next upgrade
Nice! How has the cfmoto been fro you? Any issues. Definitely get a MT-07.
@@CycleCruzawhich front suspension do you recommend ?
Haven't been here in forever!
Good to see ya back!
I love almost everything about the mt07.... It's just the weight I don't like. They may be a lot lighter than other bikes, but to me I find them heavy as fuck. I prefer super lightweight bikes .
Love the MT lineup, but the frames are too small. I have a MT09 and I'm only 5'11 and I look like I'm too big for it almost cartoonish.
"All the MT bikes have the punch" - *cries in MT-15/125*
The MT07 was one of the first bikes I have been looking at as my first bike.. I don't know why I love the looks and It would have all the power I'd ever want. But people have been saying get a dual sport or Super moto. But I think I'd be too heavy for those. lol.
These do sound really good
i love my 2024 mt07 first street bike. only thing i dislike and i absolutely hate is the location of the ignition. terrible oversight by the engineers
Did you ever review CB650R from 2019 - ...?
No he doesn't review bikes.
Unfortunately, rider aids are on most newer motorcycles 🏍️😒
I got an mt09sp. I can’t imagine going to an mt07. If I want lightweight I got my Ktm smcr 😂
MT-07 chassis just feels better to me, MT-09's CP3 engine is great but would be better in a MT-07 chassis.
I love my FZ07 it’s a 2017 model I bought it from my best friend it with 19,000 miles and I put on 20,000 miles on this bike is not going it's so much fun matter fact my best friend
definitely miss the FZ07
Yes am glad that you have a nice motorcycle.
Mt 07 is all ya need to have good time 😊
I think you are right about the MT07. I would love to hear what you have to say about the KTM 890 SMT. Can you look into maybe that being your next bike?
Have a 2022 mt 07 and I’m in the fence about getting the new mt09. Body sure what the right move is
City and some country riding 07, mostly highway 09.
🤣 (license is 15 days old)
Ill be honest tho, im ready for my next bike 🤣 (so far, the tiger 900 from triumph.)
I'm, also I new rider, I'm thinking to buy mt09 as my first bike instead of mt07.. what's your opinion on it? Thanks!
Nice! Try all the different bikes. I love getting new bikes but my default bikes are my YZ450FX and MT-07.
I've only been riding for 24 years so what do i know but i think riding slow bikes fast is funner than fast bikes slow.
💯👍
You're a legend
Non usd forks, composit handlebar risers, axial brakes, literally not like anything else in the Mt line, they should have called it something else. Chaos Causes did a great vid on this.
How do ppl just be getting bikes back to back? These bikes are thousands of dollars 🤔
Maybe they need to make an MT69. An mto7 frame with mto9 motor. Ive rode the mt07 recently and its good. I still like the sv better.
Nah they fixed everything check out the 2024 mt09 new frame 50cc bigger motor I love the sp colorway
Cycle cruiser you keep talking bout same stuff mayyyne
Gotta try the trilogy! MT10 is next?
I've been waiting for them to redesign it properly. Yamaha needs to hire Italian designers. Japan seems to love to make their motorcycles look like robots🤖 lol
@CycleCruza Right. I was lucky to be able to get my 1st gen in May 2022, the last one in my area for hundreds of miles. I like the look of it waaaaay more than the 2nd gen. I know you didn't care for the 1st gen either, but I love their looks if they are modded right (to my tastes) Hoping the 3rd gen looks awesome but not counting on it lol
The dark truth is there isnt a dark truth lol. If the mt07 has good suspension, it would be perfect.
deff gonna buy super sport in the near future. But ill never sell my 07.
Your nuts! But we love ya! Getting one on your say so!

MT07 is almost perfect and so much fun. Only issue is the cheap suspension to me
R7 does help with that.
@@bearwolffish is the footpegs, seat and handlebar positions the same on the r7?
The suspension isn't bad at all for lightweight folks, if you're heavier, a fork upgrade makes it much better. Yamaha needs to make a SP version for the MT-07, it outsells all other Yamahas and probably the best selling motorcycle out of all the motorcycles today.
@@CycleCruza Hypothetically: The MT07 engine mounted in the yz450x frame?? 😎 Unbeatable?
I almost got an MT07 used, but somebody beat me to the punch. Meow I got a cb500f. In the future I want something bigger. Either another honda cb1000r, or a MT09, or 10. I'm done with small engines. I want something still naked sport but bigger that can handle me 5ft 12inches and 380Ib. People around suggested me a Harley cruiser. I don't like Harley unless it's a Vrod. I like small motorsickles.
Why did you meow in your post? 😂
@@sportstermissions why not?
@@ilive4d80s6 Well played sir..
LOVE my mt07!!!
cc a motoX helmet flows ALOT more air 4 summatime heat. Youll need earplugs 4sure though
If you’re close to Alabama BUY MINE 2022 MT07 $6500
