Technically he usually does and pretends he doesn't. Yet they know he does so he then carries out missions like he doesn't but in fact he always has a gadget prepared or statement perfect so said situation. Like his face off with Darkseid.
And trick people to thinking that his plan always work
Batman is always prepared, but if he thought he could verbally activate the Batcave protocols for speedsters before Barry could land a supersonic punch then he's kidding himself; especially a Barry who is enraged and not playing around

i like the fact bats had the countermeasures ready to go the minute barry powered up; it didnt work, but at least it was something set up to react to speedsters instead of being something he has to activate, batman in a sense is one of the more realistic heroes in that he literally has to have plans or counters...because he is dealing w/literal gods who routinely get mind controlled...or get out of control when in a pitched battle...
While this may be so. Where's the Joker Counter Measure

It's kind of sad how people think Batman always makes people wear masks but that's not true at all. Batman is always trying to not get anyone to do that because he doesn't want anyone to end up like him. Everyone who joined the bat family always forced themselves in. If Batman really did purchase masks on everyone then Alfred would've been wearing one too.
I think the only two exceptions are Grayson and Jason Todd. They were the only ones he wanted to be Robins.
After Jason died, almost every single sidekick he had was forced in. INCLUDING DAMIEN. He didn't even know he had a son

Dick suffered the same thing he did, he lost his parents right in front of his eyes, he didn't want him to suffer anymore so he decided to make him his ward, even then he didn't want to make him fight crime, but training him would help him overcome his grief and to fill a parental void in Bruce’s life.. the conversation between Bruce and Diana in young justice explains it better.

Bruce found Jason stealing his tires in crime alley. Bruce believed that if he took him in and trained him, he could channel that anger into helping others, and it worked..........until he got info abt his mom being alive and the Joker and all that.
All in all, Bruce had noble intentions for training them and was reluctant in pretty much all of the robins' introductions.

Tim literally discovered his secret identity and BEGGED him to become robin because he saw how violent batman was becoming after Jason's death and knew that batman needed a robin in order to not go down a dark path, and Damian... Well, Talia brought him to batman, and because he's... Damian, he also wanted to become robin. (At least that's what happens in "son of batman" I don't know what happens in the comic version)

Not entirely true, he could just give them all money and a home and let them live their live. It would be a normal loss of your parents, and maybe he tries to catch the vilains that killed the parents and put them behind bars, that gives the robins a lottle bit of peace.
