Well turned out Jodie wasnt the show's problem, chibnail was problem one and now Davies' return is problem two as the sale of doctor who from free to air to yet another Disney property has pretty much alienated a sizeable portion of the fanbase who don't wish to be forced to subscribe to Disney plus to see a show owned by the BBC.
Knowing the kind of person who ends up being a fanboy, and the kind of person who literally will stop eating food if they change the packaging; this is accurately offensive to autistic people. And im all for it
It’s fine to change the cheese, just don’t shit on the previous flavors because they tasted different and make sure it’s about the substance of the cheese more than what the box it comes in looks like.
Having the ever-changing doctor be a woman would have been a great idea, had it been done as an interesting character arc and not due to a deliberate political ideology.

Being angry about a woman playing the doctor is like buying a product called 'the cheese that always changes' and getting annoyed when it changes
If the cheese suddenly had shit mixed into it.
Only if the cheese turned to ham
you're comparing women to shit. Go see a psychiatrist, you sexist. @@HappyCynic

I love the extreme apathy these two have to doctor who
Their apathy towards a lot of things and ability to keep excitement in check is really great and a good example of how to not be a shitty nerd.

Disney+ only has the international broadcasting rights, bbc still owns the show and makes all the decisions for it

And now years later we know they changed the box and the recipe into trash
But not for the reasons people were complaining about
@@dustinakadustin if you’re only talking about the people that complained the lead actor didn’t have dangly parts then yes.

Well when the cheese actively announces it's disdain for you, it might be time to switch to another cheese.
