As someone who just started Muay Thai at 29. This is phenomenal help as my first lesson is tomorrow and I wasnt even sure how to warm up properly. Thank you so much, my man.

Yo how it going bro? Continued with Muay Thai? I did my first lesson yesterday (tho I had some general basic knowledge about martial arts from before so everything wasn’t fully new for me).

@@IK-du3yx not so good. I don't have enough money atm for classes + my mom is STRICTLY agianst martial arts because she thinks I will injur myself and die or sum.
But I'm trying. I'm trying to convince her. And soon I'll get a job.

These are great warmups. Coming from a middle aged guy, these will allow you to train more and be injured less 👍 Thank you Sir!

i just started muay thai at 28 and at 315 lbs. i don't have enough money for actual classes but doing the warmups and some basic exercises I've found so far. i am...extremely out of shape. even just the warm ups knock me out. this has been a great help

Great video, firm but soothing voice, slow and clear movements easy to understand. I hate it when masters put their egos forward and show everything on high speed. If I lived in Canada instead of the actual southernmost country in America, I would surely train in your neat gym.

Did Bujinkan training before and I WISH our exercises were this easy. Don't want to imagine what a professional Thai practitioner do for a warm up. It would be like my whole week's training in one.
These seem very good at home to include into a good routine. Glad to learn more new poses and methods as well as relearning ones I've forgotten.

Bouncing may be traditional but it’s poor science. You’re causing the muscle fibers to tense by going to end of ROM then springing. You’re encouraging stretch reflex and micro tears.
Active stretching techniques are key to pre event warm ups. Moving to end of ROM then moving back slow and with purpose engages the tissue to increase ROM. ROM is THE focus not stretching. Dynamic PNF and getting your body awake by controlled motions of what you will be doing during event.
    This video is poor advice
