I love your settings thank you very much you help me to enjoy 🙏❤
Having an issue with every setting I try where my wheel doesnt match up with the in game wheel rotation so it feels off and doesn’t drive the way it should
have you put your steering to simulation?@@AnthonyForsberg-ik6km
i know you said not to just copy directly, but since i have the same wheelbase, i want to copy as closely as i can. in the video you gave ranges for everyone to try as starting/reference points but is it possible to just get the full list of the exact in-game slider positions that you use currently?
Thank you SO much for doing this painful work for us. I genuinely appreciate it and will point my friends to your channel. Keep up the great work!
Honestly I was skeptical because your settings looked pretty different than what I settled on. But after going back and forth between my old settings and these, I can say that on my Fanatec CSL DD it feels a lot closer to iracing and AC. So thank you. Because whilst I was able to drive decent enough on my old settings, it just didn’t feel “right”. But now it’s better. I’ll be sure to point my buddies to this
Me too. I had tweaked Traxion GG recommended settings, but they were good but not right. And the car would do strange things on the limit. CHanged the settings, tweaksed them a bit based on Emrz's descriptions, and now I'm in driving nirvana. A 911 Carrera with light mods on Watkins! Yes please!!!!!
Really appreciate the video. The game is beyond frustrating currently. I have DD Pro 8nm, McLaren GT3v2 wheel and the club sport v3 pedals. I am yet to find a single set of settings that feel even close to the ballpark of iRacing or GT7. I’ve kept it super basic, chosen a track I know super well (Spa) and a car I have raced countless times Porsche GT3.
So many times in testing I actually end up losing all acceleration (degrades on a sliding scale) and then bizarre sound effects that get worse and worse. Xbox series x fwiw.
Hopefully a patch helps.
My wheel is up to date and my base settings feel good in other games.
I would 3rd this!!. Ts xw tiny tweek for pref. But nailes it. All others claiming got it are miles off. Was addicted last night!. Your fault im late to work this morning!!!
@gun16qpdc we have the same exact set up besides the pedals I'm using the pedals that came with the dd pro but I have the load cell brake kit and clubsport shifter. I am using a setting from the fanatec forums and member posted and the ffb feels pretty damn good. Not quite as good as iracing which is what I mostly play but a little better than GT7. Idk why but the feeling of driving is much better in GT7 after the patch a few months ago but the cars feel like they are on foam tires, or plastic tires idk how to describe it. Check the fanatec forums man or I can post mine when I'm home the game is 1000% better with good ffb settings I'm having alot of fun
@gun16qpdc I ended up using stock settings with a few tweaks on the wheels tuning menu, because all these "best settings" videos just made it unplayable. Those comments saying it feels like AC/ACC/Iracing are most likely paid for.

Oh hey man, you are a Star! Thank you so much for this!
Duude I don't know if you realize how much your setting videos impact my sim racing hobby. You didn't just teach me how to set up my CSL DD. You straight up taught me what a good FFB is supposed to feel like.
For G920 users these settings as shown in the video work great. I prefer a little more vibration (30) and road feel (90) though, I would also say a little more force feedback is good as the G920 isn’t the strongest torque wheel out there.
edit: force feedback (120), steering self alignment (95), mechanical trail (110), pneumatic trail (30), road feel (70), load sensitivity (40), center spring scale (1). And the rest is the same as the vid I believe. I’ve been tweaking with the above settings a bunch over the last few months and have found this combo to be the most predictable and realistic.
Thanks homie!!
@@yaboyastro69420 forgot abt this comment, lemme make an edit with the perfected version for ya boss
@@SirReddit18 THANKS!! Works perfect!!!!!!!
I remember you saying on stream you couldn't find any decent settings for the wheel. I'm glad you found something that works. I think it's also good that they do give the option to expose all these settings because people will have unique preferences and it's better to have a game that can cater to anyone willing rather than just a subset of the playerbase. That said, obviously the default wheel settings are straight garbage according to everyone who has tried it so far. There's no reason they don't have better default settings.
I’ve tried so many peoples settings over these last few days, even tried tuning my own in and finally yesterday got to a point I was pretty happy with them. Then I saw your video and thought okay I’ll try yours just to see if they’re any better than what I have, so I applied them and they were terrible. The car felt stupidly light with basically no feedback coming through and then I remembered the key part that you mentioned that I haven’t really heard anyone else talk about, adjusting the FFB scale PER CAR. I was driving the Acura #36 NSX and I boosted the FFB scale and suddenly your settings came to life! So I think the FFB per car thing is a massive deal in this game, at least at this stage it is so thank you for that!
But wouldn't it be easier to use a slightly more aggressive setup right away that is noticeable without having to test and adjust it individually for each car? Because my first setup is a bit more aggressive, but is not as easy/light to steer as Ermz's (before you change the strength of each car). Lap times I drive the same with different cars and different tracks, it's really annoying now...
@@tobireindltrust me I tired so many different setups and tried tweaking my own as well, but boosting the individual cars FFB strength combined with Ermz setup is the best I’ve got this game feeling and also is as close as I’m used to with the feeling of other racing games
@@TimmyTheSnail So you just play around with the strength on every car you drive for the first few times until you find the "sweet spot"? 🤔
@@tobireindlwell so far I’ve only done it with 1 car because I literally found this video like 2 hours ago. But I was using the Acura and there was basically no feedback, so I boosted the car’s individual feedback up from 100% to 175% because of how lacking the feedback felt, and that made it feel pretty damn good. I could probably turn it down 10% or so, but you if you think a cars feedback is too strong for example then you can roughly gauge how much to reduce it by and vis-versa
Me too, and I spent 5 days fiddling and fine-tuning my setup. This setup with FFS tuning for each car is the biz.@@TimmyTheSnail
Thanks so much Bro, these settings are absolutely amazing. So much appreciated. I have a T818 and damn default settings were just horrendous. Yours helped so much, only video that has helped me. finally enjoying driving the game, now if they can fix the graphic issues. Thanks again
Thank you so much! 🙏 I was thinking about returning the steering wheel because I heated it. Every other settings video had settings that would make the wheel shake violently if I took my hands off the wheel.
Thank you so much, was about to leave the game because of that strange feeling that i was having with the dd pro since the configuration options seemed overwhelming. The experience has totally changed for better.
Being new to racing games having just purchased a moza wheel this has helped heaps. I was close to refunding the game. There are way too many settings for an amateur like me needs to adjust to make it playable/enjoyable. Cheers
Great video will keep eye out for update I'm new to forza without this would have no idea
I never knew about the car ffb in the tuning menu. Been going back and forth with each race.
The thing is, once you get your settings right, the new FM can hang with the best sims out there in FFB and car feel. It really is a thing of beauty. Just sucks that you really have to work unreasonably hard to find those settings. Literally, I fiddled with mine for probably 5 hours last night. But when I got it right? Omg it’s incredible.
I am on it 6h now and now I start to ask the social media and research which setup (have 2 very good setups now) is better. Can do the same lap time and both feel good. Ermz setup is way more soft and easier to steer. But my first setup is harder and aggressive, but you can feel the limit of the tires. 🫠
I totally agree. Forza has always previously been terrible with a wheel, but after spending all weekend in my rig fine tuning the FFB, it was worth it. I'm frankly amazed at the amount of information and feeling that they put in this. Talk about a complete 180 turnaround. Never had this much fun with Forza game.
What are your settings? :)@@graemacinnis1202
I feel like the amount of understeer is unplayable as well as the brake pressure. I just can’t enjoy it. Maybe on a controller
@@toby7647 Some people say its easier on controller, in my opinion its easier with a wheel, because its obviously more realistic
Ive gone through about a dozen videos explaining different settings for the wheels. I have a Logitech G920. Im by no means a sim racer except i play a ton of Forza. These settings here are by far the best ive come across. Thank you so much
I was looking for a G920 comment 😂 im definitely trying this setting out now
I just got my 920 setup and have been hunting settings as well 😂
G920 gang😂 NGL I was scrolling to look for it aswell 😂
same here man! hey did any of yours pull to the left straight away i have gone over the video 5 times afte completing stays central. in menus i move wheel left and it just keeps going around to full lock. cheers ryan
G923 here... wish me luck lol
Edit: yeah.. it feels much nicer!!... yours is the best so far
This is a great video but I also really recommend the hoki hoshi one. The settings needed for gear/belt wheels are quite different to DD wheels. I find their settings much better for my g923
Just goes to show how turn 10 really should have developed a tool to auto config it like iracing has. cause on my csl dd his settings felt like crap compared to these. I fear a lot of people getting their first wheel for this game, who don't understand ffb, will end up using the wrong settings and it could be hindering their enjoyment
Agree, hokis settings feel the best and most fun. Playing without road feel and vibrations is boring and feels lack luster.
@@Gelangweilterare hokis better for a cheaper Thrustmaster wheel?
@@golfboy7438 I am using a dd wheelbut a friend of mine is using a Logitech g29 or something like that and he likes hokis settings but you test it andvtemwesl it here and thete
Hoki released a superb video about the settings, I recommend watching it.
@@golfboy7438 I would watch the video but imho the belt/gear settings in that video are better for cheaper belt/gear wheels. Ultimately though, it only takes 2 mins to change the settings and try out both sets, so you can always do that to set your mind at rest.
I agree, after buying a $300 starter wheel and a $60 game... I shouldn't have to do weeks or research to get it to feel even remotely drivable. T10 has somehow created a terrific controller game with basically zero support for pretty standard peripherals.
Just setup these settings and OMFG thank you! I can finally drive. Went from 22-24th places to 1st on the wheel.
Wow now this makes the game more realistic great settings best one out of 20 videos
thanks, look forward to the review
Saved me a lot of trouble adjusting my TM T300 RS
Man, I SO appreciate you not just dropping "optimum" settings but really digging into this stuff and explaining what it all does so I can figure out what doesn't feel right and adjust accordingly. And your closing comments are spot on, it feels like they came into this knowing they needed to get it right on a wheel and just gave up when they got close enough
For FWD of 4WD cars, these settings feel really good and consistent. ‘Simple’ cars like the vauxhall Corsa, Volkswagen Golf GTI drive consistent and I feel like I feel details and that I’m in control of the car. The 4WD Subaru STI feels a bit heavier, which is to be expected from a heavier 4WD, but I still feel in control and feel when the car loses grip. When I switch to RWD cars however, these settings feel quite light. My Lamborghini Countach or Nissan 370Z take only little effort to steer. I’ve never driven a RWD car in real life, but I can hardly imagine it driving this easy. Also, I don’t feel those cars losing grip that much. When I increase the Pneumatic Trail settings, I get a lot more feel for the car, but too high Pneumatic Trail makes every FWD and 4WD car feel insanely heavy.
Has anyone found a good middle ground for this?
BTW, I’m using the Fanatec CSL DD 8Nm.
Great information with even better context thank you 🙏🏾
Even if people don't fully agree with how the setup should be, the fact that you're highlighting and explaining each setting is enough to be a good starter guide for anyone going into this game with a wheel, because like you said, the base layout really is dogsh-
My first setup was all about changes in the fanatec tuning menu besides the load sensitivity to 70. Still cannot decide if Ermz setup or my first is better for driving, lap times are the same with both setups, tested the last 6h now..
I agree although I'd still point towards HokiHoshi for a setup guide
Thank you, a solid base with a great explanation 👍
Your settings helped alot but I still prefer to have more tweaking options than less. If you leave it to the developer to decide then it will be one size fits all. We don't want that.
I actually love that the devs have left all these options to configure it exactly as you like. FFB in ACC has been broken for me until their last big patch, where they finally fixed it somehow.
I have participated in about 10 online races already and I have to say it has been pretty fun. Servers are full, lots of different options, different circuits, weather conditions, very fun strategic decissions with fuel and tires, players behaving reasonable well... there's not much to complain. Yes, physics are not top notch by any means, but they reward good driving technique andt hat's more than enough for me.
This is the best, most concise video for FFB on FM that I have seen showing what they do in the telemetry.. I did my own deep dive video that came close to your settings, though mine was not concise at all. More like a 50 minute slog.
Amazing Explication !! Thank you
It took me ages to get my Thrustmaster TX somewhat useable for the game. It was clipping like crazy and understeer was not noticable at all. Also the self alignment is much to strong for this wheel. I think i got it at 40 or 50. Really annoying.
BTW great video with great explanation. But as you said, you have to tinker with this by yourself for hours to get it right. I wanted to upgrade to direct drive at some point and i get a headache just thinking about the settings...
I have a TX too, what did you settle with in the end?
None of these settings fixed my issues. The problem I'm having is no matter what car I use if I use the brakes the car spins out of control. Forget trail braking! Also, the Force Feedback setting for the cars in each car tune menu are locked. Not sure what to do to unlock them.
OK so I know you say everyone's different and I have no doubt you understand all this stuff better than me but in all honesty... I found the default settings a lot better than yours. I like a heavy car under me so I can feel the slides and with your settings all that is lost. Again, it may also depends on the setting within my fanatec wheel too but default with a few slight adjustments I had made felt so much better.
I also personally think forza feels great on the wheel!
Appreciate you trying to help others too but like you say... I hope everyone takes the time to find their set up and not just copy yours.
Oh this has to be satire, surely. If you found the default settings to be better than this then what wheelbase are you using? Comedy gold mate!
Are you using a Logitech G series, or a proper DD wheelbase?
@@dimsoneill Fanatec DD 8nm. No joke... I prefer default but with extra dampening and the deadzones removed. My mate also tried both and preferred it closer to default than this too but like a said..... everyone is different. 👍
Yeah not to discredit the video, it’s turn 10s fault for making a lazy excuse for wheel support. I’m sure it’s good on dd but my g920 that I’m unfortunately stuck with go now feels even worse. Not to mention as much as I want to run sim steering even the slightest bit of traction loss in the rear means I’m out of the race as it’s not possible to counter-steer to correct without snapping uncontrollably in the opposite direction. Any tips would be much appreciated ❤️
For me this game is garbage; Cars don't want to turn, not to mention the FPS drops to 30-40 FPS
The best Forza Horizon 5
Has anyone with DD Logitech G Pro Wheel tried the settings? advice on any changes? they are very different from the ones recommended on the site and I would like to have some opinions. Thank you
So set ffb at 120 and adjust per car to get the feel right and avoid clipping? I did notice some cars feel very light and others are pushing close to clipping
A little Forza history. Back prior to FM7, all FFB was how you said T10 should have had it, all hidden away and programmed by them. Due to mass complaints from wheel users, T10 completely redid how FFB worked during FM7's life cycle, and implemented most of those things into Forza Horizon too.
I will say, as a long term Forza player (played since the original FM on the OG Xbox). Wheel force feedback was an over dampened mess prior to these changes.
Exactly. This Forza feels GREAT compared to previous games. I’m playing on a Simagic Alpha Ultimate and it feels great. Night and day difference to older titles.
These settings are not good. The steering wheel feels way too soft and unrealistic. Adjust it the way it works for you. These settings are far too unrealistic.
My favorite settings for:
Logitech G920
Vibration: 0
FFB Scale: 75 (Any more and heavy-steering cars clip)
Steering self-alignment: 100
Mechanical trail: 150
Pneumatic trail: 50
Road feel: 100
Load sensitivity: 0 (Anything above is a non-linear load build and feels unnatural)
Damper: 0
Center spring: 0
Dynamic damper: 0
Steering sensitivity: 50
Steering linearity: 50
Great explanation. Care to share your fanatec wheel base setting aswell? Much appreciated.
Say what you want about exposing all these settings, but this is still one of the few games where my wheel actually feels good to use. Your example of ACC was another example though I had to tweak way more than you're giving that game credit as well. Most games just don't feel good on cheaper wheels (which is what I have).
I'd like to try these, but what about the settings for the wheel in the Fanatec Control Panel? How should they be set up?
Thanks for all this information! Can’t wait to set up my steering wheel. But the moment I got the game I’ve try with controller and what is wrong with players they all playing dirty … pushing of road and crashing to each other constantly… that’s really frustrating
Tried these settings my just understeers off the track
I prefer more than less options, especially in a game where you tune and upgrade your car and every single change feels like a huge difference.
You must be playing a different game then
I have experienced loading issue on xsx. Whenever I buy or upgrade a car, the game stuck on the loading screen forever. Any solution?😢
Same 😢
Optimization of this game is a bad joke so i'm not surprised they didn't care much about FF settings.
I disagree sorry, they have not made a bad decision by exposing "options", that should be applauded, but I agree with you on the fact they have simply been lazy not setting up the defaults properly !!
I’m with you on that. I appreciate that the settings exist but I can’t understand why they didn’t spend a few hours on each major wheelbases to create great profiles. It’s like no one at t10 is even playing the game?
@@rs06rs06 probably because gamepad user base is the primary one, so it got prioritized, but things may change/improve in the future, as a wheel owner will wait and see
Especially for console users who don’t can’t use software to tweak the wheel settings
Ermz, these settings look awesome. How about the wheelbase settings?
(For those of us who have the same base as you, CSL DD)
Really helpful thank you
Thank you so much for this video! Not only are all your comments extremely helpful for a non-technical player like me, but I also felt vindicated by your ending comments. AC and ACC and the first and second Project Cars did all the hard work for us so that very little fine tuning was necessary. This point (about FMS coders being lazy) is clearly an example of 'executive corporate policy' which has little to do with the actual gameplay and more to do with the optics of how 'sophisticated' these complexities make the game appear - an entirely false projection IMHO. I love FM but am exceedingly disappointed with all this faffing around, not to mention the ludicrous car progression nonsense. Why fix something when it's not broken!?
Just tried your settings and I love it. Coming from ACC those Settings work pretty well for me. Thank you for the work. Since the start of the early access I was looking for good settings for my csl dd. big thanks again
Great video, i cant wait to try these settings. Also, your point of Forza not even being able to get the default settings right is just down right embarassing. This is a racing game and they have no idea what they are doing, I'm seriously questioning whether or not they even have anyone on their team that is somewhat knowledgable in motorsports or performance driving, because this game seems like it was made by the most amateur of game developers. Again, just embarassing of them to expose their absolute lack of experience in actual real life motorsports 😂
Thank you so much for this video. Having the DD PRO, you leveled up my gaming experience for this game. Default settings are simply garbage. Turn10 must do something for this and they should listen to your video!
The amount of settings i dont see as a bad thing but from all the reviews online the default being so far away is criminal there needs to be an update to at least get everyone in the ball park preferably with presets for different wheels
Yea there really should be presets for different wheels but honestly I can't think of a single sim racing game I haven't had to adjust my settings it just comes with the territory of owning a wheel and their neing so many different brands to choose from.
Mate, you are a lifesaver! The setup you proposed did wonders for me, my times are better, sector scores are way better! I was going bananas before, figuring out why the steering wheel did not work for me. Many, many thanks!
Just ordered a Fanatec CSL DD, upgrading from my G920. Can't wait to try out my first Direct Drive, using this video for a guide !!
All the settings that are show from 3:50 in the video are not there for me. I play on a xbox series x with Thrustmaster TMX wheel. Is that normal?
Found the problem, the wheel needs to be connected to see those settings.
Even i plug it in, none of these settings show up for me.
You save the game! Thx👍
Great vid man.... I did the exact same thing. I've been sim racing for the greater part of 6-7 years and have gained an extreme knowledge of sim racing, and what I like for setting for my style of driving. I searched and searched for settings and this was usually the way I'd get a starting point. There' really isn't a setting out there that you can start from. They're all garbage if you aske me. So I put my head down for 2-3 hours and I've honed into something that's amazing for me. I suggest you all do the same. A lot of us already know what the main settings are. If you don't know what the setting does, I simply set it to the extreme opposite to see if I notice anything with it, and you will find out what it does that way. Then go back to where it was, and go from there. I'd post my settings, but there's so many factors, like what wheelbase, what game, what console etc. all come into play and if you don't have the exact same shit, what's the point?
I’m still struggling and hopefully the community can help out. There’re quite some contradictory advices online. For example, Hokihoshi advices to keep the pneumatic trail at 100 and even increase the road feel and vibration. Personally, I like it that the car shakes a bit on curves and when wheel spin occurs. However, I tend to agree that too much is not good. How to choose between the different recommendations?
nothing i try in the wheel settings feels like im driving a car in this game.
I have the fanatec 8nm setup like you have and tried these, car still feels terrible
Always top notch
Great Settings thx
So still bad FFB in FM?😄 I disagree with those many options. People have very different tastes regarding FFB and some own a car that is in the game. The options are a nice feature to make it similar to the real car, so probably worse from optimal, but certainly the default shouldn't be trash either.
And yet it is.
thank you for the video. Any idea why Vibration Scale is locked at 40? I cant seem to adjust it, its locked at 40. I have a DD2 wheel base
@Ermz Great guide Best tuning setup for my clubsport 2.5 now after watching this buddy! Feels muuuuch better now. #ManHugs
Thanks! Best settings for me so far. I only adjust the force feedback to around 70 for the FWD and then 100-130 for GT3 and RWD... these settings are for me closest to somehthing like Rfactor2
These settings feel very arcady. You sorta downgraded everything. Hokihoshi’s settings are much better.
I’m can image these would be good for more Amature racers though. It’s Harder to feel your traction but easier to drive
@@entertainingandfun2719your probably basing your experince on a dd and not say a belt or gear driven wheel
@@jaysgamingandbuildsc5533 yeah after more research that was absolutely the issue. I’ll take this comment down. This video was one of the first I visited so I forgot.
Great video and explanation, Ermz! These in game settings work really well on my T818. Still dialing it in but it's a great foundation!
I have a moza R5, it don’t wants to stay straight. It’s always pulling me to the side
what are your driver settings for the dd pro?
I just did these settings , and the game feels absolutely amazing
I use the same gear and these settings were exactly what I was looking for!
Need some dampening stop the car and turn the wheel you will feel no friction at 0. Arris the dev from acc has good video on it on youtube. I think most of your settings are garbage aswell and need more time in the game instead of rushing out a video for views.
Thank you. I just bought my first wheel (logitech 920- i know, it's cheap, but, retiree on a budget) and spent all day yesterday trying to figure out how to get it to work in a quasi-realistic way. I tend to run my racecars (irl) with an overboosted setup, because I find that much less fatiguing on longer races. trying to replicate that in Forza has been a bit of a nightmare. Gonna give your settings a shot, and work from there.
Be warned, he is using a DD wheel not one thst u are using so it will nog work that great. I myself have a G920 and am still trying to find the right settings. My frist wheel that I bought yesterday. I really have te get used to it and I'm really faster with a controller still😅
Try the setting from Hoshi Hoki, better for G series wheels.@@stabilozz
What is an overboosted setup? Do you mean steering assistance?
thank you dude! I don't have to consciously think about how to correct the car anymore and can rely on muscle memory again lol. the tip at 1:20 was a lifesaver too. it didn't occur to me that anything other than 0 and 100 would be the default. what a bizarre choice, imo. no wonder braking zones felt like a complete gamble
Thank you for this, first morning after buying a g920, these settings work excellently and i won my first race right after setting them up and got competent by the end. First time sim racer and im already so excited for more races. Cheers man
great video, did you changed setting on your wheel aswell or these are default? thx :)
There is an additional comment for this
So i played a few Hours with Ur settings and it is breahtaking!! In comparison to my settings befor or the Basic settings. I now have Trust in the Cars in the Wheel and can Push through corners. If i loose the car and crashed, it is my falt and Not the falt of the Wheel Like it was bevor.

I'm using a gt DD pro like you and, honestly, your reccomended settings are a game chenger for me. I'm really really happy with the game and i also feel ACC vibes. The only problem i have is the wheel rotation: with SEN at AUTO the wheel rotation is different from the one i see in the game, and with the Ferrari 90's F1 i switched manually SEN at 900° because the car was turning probably at a 2190° or so, like it was a VW Golf!😂 Need help for this, thanks and greetings from an Italian follower!
These SETTINGS ARE THE BEST I HAVE SEEN SO FAR AND I WOULD BET DOLLARS TO DONUT'S that You will Not Find Better Settings Period. From these Settings you can Adjust a little bit maybe for a Preference thing here or there but Overall these are Damn Near Perfect.....I already know what people are Thinking or will Say......Hoki Hoshi blah blah blah and here is the Deal I have the Logitech G920 and so on his Video it has Direct Drive Settings and Gear/Belt Drive Settings and his "Gear/Belt Drive Settings are Absolutely Horrible. I LOVE all of his Content as a Whole and Generally he has Knowledgeable Information however his Settings for Gear Belt Wheels as it Pertains to Forza Motorsport are Absolutely Incorrect. For Instance the Amount of Understeer that his Settings produced (and before you say that settings have nothing to do with Understeer that's Car Tuning Bro) you need to Do Some More Research and Pay Attention because Mechanical Trail most Certainly does alone not to mention a few others. However with these Settings it Feels Amazing so it doesn't Matter if you are Gear/Belt Driven or DD either way these Work and Work Very Well!!!!! I know some of you are still gonna do whatever anyways and for those of you that don't get these out I'm Sorry you Missed out for Sure!
Bravo for the AMAZING CONTENT and SETTINGS I HAVE SUBSCRIBED AND WILL BE A LIFER NOW because you Won Me over Hook Line and Sinker! Now just waiting for my CSL DD to arrive within a few weeks because I went ahead and ordered one after using your settings because I was about to give up on using a wheel on this Game!!!!!
Until now i have been using the setting provided by IGN.
I can honestly say that your guid here has improved my experience 10-fold, It's a completely different experience at this point.
For a newbie like me, with a Moza R3 on an Xbox, it's magic. Thank you so much!
Thanks for hard work and settings, definitely going to give them a go. When I finally cave in and get the game.
I have a thought though - Is the reason that some of these additional settings are in the game, not a result of the game being primarily developed for the Xbox, where you don’t have software running for attached wheel bases?
Cannot wait to get home from work and give these a go. You the man Ermz, been waiting for this.
Has anyone experienced random wheel vibrations on Xbox with TS-XW wheel. These occur during the menu navigation (when launching Forza)?
The wheel just starts making random noises and vibrations, as if it was an old PC trying to downlaod stuff over a modem connection. Started happening after Update 5 and is still there after Update 6. The wheel works fine in all other games like ACC or Dirt.
Reducing wheel dampening to 0 seems to fix this for me, but I prefer to have some on. Wondering if anyone experienced the same issue and maybe had any alternative fixes, if any?
These settings destroyed my fun while playing this game, 0 connection to the car... everytime I try to steer in, the car just flips out of control????? hello im in dry conditions turning a car ( porsche cayman) with INSANE stability.... This game is also extremely unrealistic when it comes to speed, driving 100 km/u on the speedo actually feels like 40 km/u? but the car acts like its going 100 km/u. Coming from a real life sports car with over 350 bhp RWDthese settings just feel DUMB compared to real life driving.
Okay .. hearing you speak of how forza gave “TOO MUCH” responsibility to the driver for setting up the usage of a wheel really answered a lot of my questions I had, and also gave life back to the desire of investing some time/energy and $ into trying out sim racing once again.
I get the impression that perhaps ALOT of people out there base sim racing on the known name brand of Forza as a baseline of what it will be like in the sim community. And knowing that the developers do the ground work for how the game play feels vs this franchise is a BIG misconception.
This was a game changer for me. I had not played since launch and couldn't get the base settings right. I now play Forza thanks to you. Would you be able to do the same kind of video for ACC🙏🏽🙏🏽
Thanks! Great starting point for my CSL Elite! Feels that much better! 👍
Thank you so much for this video, the difference in ffb is night and day. Having an absolute blast with my CSL DD8
I can't believe that they've launched the game with literally unplayable stock settings.
Once again, really appreciate your help dude!
Adjusting or multiplying per car? That's is crazy annoying... Another proof that Turn10 doesn't care for wheel players or for simulation after all..
This is my first real experience with sim racing with a franchise I thought I loved. I've had a wheel before on gt4 with no force feedback but that's it. Since I don't have a pc forza is all I have and it's awful and although fiddling with the settings makes it better it's no match for asseto corsa or project cars 2 or even f1 it's just sad. I only have g923 on a table witch I know is not the best but Jesus christ I spent 3 fucking hours to make it half decent.
How do you get pedal vibration to work? I have clubsport v3 plugged into podium base, works on fanatec control panel test but not in game?
T10 laziness and desperation to get any help in their floundering would be comical if it weren't so infuriating. Truly mismanaged and yet failing up.
Despite being extremely excited for this game I refunded, existing sims just do it better.
sadly I have to agree
Can recommend upping the steering sensitivity in the game to 60 and steering linearity to 70 for less play.
Im using CSL DD 8 NM
Lol wait you're saying vibrations in the steering wheel detract from realism? How isolated is the steering in your car?? Also complaining about super granular settings for the steering wheel is ridiculous. It's a problem that they don't have good presets, but none of these settings are superfluous. Come on
Forza 8 must be the worst game launch of all time, horrifically poorly optimised! barely playable on a mid range card with any appreciable graphic enjoyment.
So I got a problem with the input settings on my Logitech g29 so I use a cnraqr shifter and handbrake but every single time I do the settings the clutch is not working the car just stops can someone help me?
