The 2290 is an absolutely amazing piece of kit, particularly when you consider how early it was to arrive on the music scene. I bought mine back in 1995-96, along with a rack-mounted Rocktron Intellifex, and both still sit here in home studio rack. Nothing can replace either one.
Guitar into Analog Man Prince of tone Overdrive - TC 2290- Vox AC30 amp and Fender Twin, i used 2 vintage shure sm58 mics and running into a M-Audio Firewire 410 sound card into Pro Tools. and thats it.
thanks man! 2290 is awesom delay with an amazing quality, I asked because the stereo quality or the audio quality in general was really good and the stereo imagery can really take anyone to another place!
Hello, its a simple set up Vox AC30 amp and Fender Twin, i used 2 vintage shure sm58 mics and running into a M-Audio Firewire 410 sound card into Pro Tools.
if you have 2 amps then just run left output to one amp and the right output to another amp, simple as that, i would try different delays, they will all sound great in stereo
so you take the fx loop send from each amp and plug the send from the first amp into input L of the eventide then the output back to the return and the same thing for the other amp by plugging it into the Right input on the Eventide Timefactor
fantastic, schnobel. you always sound nice, but this time it's fabulous. you must have a special recording technic. i can't do that. do you think it is a matter of quality of the soundcard in rhe first place?
PART 2: the soundcard could be the hardest part. i am using an old and cheap creative audigy in my computer and i don't think i have a firewire interface. well - i'll try a sm57 or sm58 and see what happens.
PART 1: thank you shnobel. this is a pretty professional equipment. it sounds fantastic. but i don't want to spend so much money just for my poor youtube videos. would you recommend the sm57 or the sm58? pro tools is just a sequenzer program, right? does it have any impact regarding the sound quality? or could i use my old cubase instead? i think so.
love ur videos shnobel i have a eventide timefactor and i want to run in stereo to a 2 laney cub 12 that i have 1 what settings i have to use? band delay? and 2 who can i conecct them
its some way to run only in one out becouse i have a parametric eq and reverb that only have 1 out and i run this other effects on the fx loop i can use a stereo cable?

The chorus is the overall delay Modulation, you can turn it on or off. i didnt test it with it off, it was on the whole time in this demo
