    Some folks complaining why not make it just a pure plugin...but I actually love that they did it with a hardware controller.Makes tweaking much more fun...so tired of always having to mouse through most plugin parameters.
    A standalone hardware unit would have been even better...but I'm sure the price would then have been substantially higher, considering what the original cost back in the '80s...and to just make a hardware unit with all DSP and no analog (like the original) would have been kinda lame, IMO.

    I still love my TC Vintage Delay. It's the best delay I've ever used, full-stop.

    I love this concept with native instruments machine and Softube Console one. This is badass

    Great demo of a great product. (BTW - my cats did NOT appreciate the screaming guitar samples. LOL) … Neither did my wife … 👀

    I want switchable midi inserts too!!!!!!! Please?????? Oh well!! At least it has a multidimensional interface that allows simultaneous inside and outside the box functioning...( read: hdw controller) Yeah TC!! Great sounds!! Sounds great!! :^)

    Why wouldn’t they make the hardware standalone!?!? Me as well as most musicians I know that use computers have way to many usb and all other types of cords stuck into their computers. I love this delay but the usb is a deal breaker, I’m just at my limit already. Great demo though.

      I know this is old but you can get an ILOK license and use it stand alone, OR you could buy one of the Rack units that is stand alone used for about 2 grand...

    Hi there, at TC website it says those plugins work on OS X Sierra upwards, but on the site says 10.13, that is not Sierra, it is High Sierra. So what information is correct, 10.12 or 10.13??

    Make it into a pedal equivalent. DAW (computer) and controller just isn't practical for gigs in many applications.

      Free the Tone Flight Time delay is the pedal you're looking for.

    • @cmath8577
      @cmath8577 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The comments for Flight time and Nova repeater...Sorry....not even close. I own a 2290 . This emulation is spot on. Delay with panning..ducking.pitch modulation. Dry signal panning and phase inverting ..all of this at the same time.. is also part of the 2290 experience.

      I was thinking the same thing. Love you MItch, but you got to get away from the 80's. Maybe a 70's line with an 80's feel. How about the delay over some acoustic work?

    The plugin seems high quality but I have no idea who the hardware controller is for. I mean it is cool at first glance but why would you want that cluttering up your desk? Hardware seems best for real-time adjustments but all of these settings can just be done with a mouse/keyboard. I'm not saying it is useless, just targeted toward a very small group I'd imagine. Maybe I'm wrong and there is a bunch of 2290 experts out there who "play" the control surface like a musician plays an instrument. Plugin is cool though.

      If you're someone who uses a lot of finely tuned delays in their productions this is a delay tweaker's delight.

      George Coller it would look good sitting next to the Universal Audio Apollo Twin MkII Quad, Softube Console 1 Mk2 with an Apple iMac 27” Desktop running Logic Pro X and some quality studio monitors and a nice solid music production desk

      Yes, don't use the hardware, you have to connect it once in the 60 days.

    Is it possible to use different milliseconds for left and right?

    • @sweetwater
      @sweetwater  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! Thank you for your interest! As of right now, the plug-in is not able to do that, as its design is based on the original product. It certainly could be something they release in a future update though, as they keep making it better with user feedback! If you have any other questions on how the new TC Electronic plug-ins work, feel free to give us a call!

      Hello, Christopher! Those units cannot be rackmounted - they're designed to be used on a desktop surface. Hope that helps, and thanks for reaching out!

    The controller is small enough, but could you not have used a hand model to substitute for Mitches Bear-Like hands? It made the controller look like a tick-tack. Okay Ill stop.

    I hate the fact they didn't make a pedal out of this thing. Almost a good idea. Will I get it? if it was a pedal absolutely, desktop can't use it live so it's worthless

      The originals are very rare and cost about $7000 30 years ago. TC Electronic did A/B comparison in great detail when they developed this.

    Still, it looks cool ... so ...
