The award-winning writing of Rebecca Solnit has touched on the defining topics of our times, from environmental justice, disaster response, the memory of communities, and more. Her nationally bestselling collection Men Explain Things To Me has become a modern classic in feminist thought, providing a watershed moment in the resurgence in discourse around issues of gender and power.
With The Mother of All Questions: Further Reports from the Feminist Revolutions, Solnit returns to the topic with force in essays on women who refuse to be silenced, misogynistic violence, the fragile masculinity of the literary canon, the gender binary, the recent history of rape jokes, and much more. She discusses this urgent, cutting collection with the New Yorker's Jia Tolentino.

Adverbs are totally dead, and honestly, it drives me insane. And feminism has most definitely been consumerized.
