I had a 1997 as a kid from 2000-02 loved it. It did it all 93-97 frames were the same on the CR125, plastics were about the same too but shrouds, air box color and number plate style.
They should start from 2000 through to 2007 and rebuild of all the manufacturers 125 & 250 two strokes and then do a shoot out for each year ! That would be unreal . . .
Can you guys please have more riding footage to videos like this? I know you need to sell magazines but those do not include sound. You are welcome to keep the fourstroke videos as short as you like. :)
And the real question is: aside from sponsored magazines, who will choose to put that much money on a 20 years old + bike instead of buying a newer one? These bikes are only a publicity thing. Nice parts show off but, most of the time, unrealistical projects.
Wide000 they allready got like 3 of every single bike made from like 2010 and up. they allready are bord of the 4 strokes so they gota have some fun and build up a 2 stroke. i mean really, how doesnt like to see old 2 strokes geting a complete restoration?
Love these builds. But on this one I'd ditch the shorty silencer for a standard length FMF. 125's are ridden up top and all the shorty does is add down low and takes away from up top. Shorty makes it sound better though, no arguing that.
what did you guys have to do to swap forks and shock i am currently in the process of trying to find a similar swap on my 98 cr250 but want to have all parts in stock first
These vids are nothing more than adverts for aftermarket companies, they spend more time talking about all the bits they bolted on than anything else...
ts_tella14 my first bike was a 99 cr125, I got silver shrouds and side panels. only rode it 4 months then sold it after I got my 2014 crf. kept the silver plastics though
While the plant foot and pivot corners produce great photographic opportunities, they make for incredibly unimpressive video footage. This video would be much better if Jimmy DeCotis was the one riding.
It's crazy to see this done..but I'll have to say most of us don't have the interest or the financial willingness to dump that kinda cash into something so old. I'm guessing 95% of the bike was replaced.
Haha doing one up now. Looking at this one I can say a fair bit of money was dumped into it but it looks like most of its og. Front ends from a crf though
If you ever ride a 90s steel framed CR125, you'll appreciate it. Golden age. Those bikes scream
Rusty Jenkins totally agree. Spent alot of time on a 1994 cr125 and 250.
How's the Honda cr 125 -92? I might buy a supermoto one in a honda crm frame to make it streetlegal
I've got a 92 CR125 and made it street legal, love it

My dad bought that thing a while ago from you guys and we named her audrey, one of the best bikes I’ve ever rode.
Loving the two stroke projects.

My first 125 was a 1994 cr125. Still to this day I wish I still had hold of her. Best bike!

BRAAAP
Hey guys I’d love to see how you went about cutting the rear shrouds. Cheers
how did you cut the side panels?
cr 125s are just a beast
oh, so it's a 95 cr 125 frame.
Hahahaha
Lol such a good point. I still love this bike though.
And the real question is: aside from sponsored magazines, who will choose to put that much money on a 20 years old + bike instead of buying a newer one? These bikes are only a publicity thing. Nice parts show off but, most of the time, unrealistical projects.
I love my 96 revs for days
Wide000 they allready got like 3 of every single bike made from like 2010 and up. they allready are bord of the 4 strokes so they gota have some fun and build up a 2 stroke. i mean really, how doesnt like to see old 2 strokes geting a complete restoration?
old school power 💪
I just built a 95.... what plastics kit is that? Would love to give it the same look
No offense MXA but please stop making your videos in this boring old sandpit. I wanna see them two strokes hit some jumps!
Sean Mcmarr aa
Makes the bikes look really slow. Not impressive
man you are the best
THAT'S REALLY FUCKING COOL, MAN!!!
What year exhaust (expansion chamber and silencer) did you guys put on this?
The newer rear master cylinder is easy to fit?
How can I get plastics like this for my 94 cr125.
Love these builds. But on this one I'd ditch the shorty silencer for a standard length FMF. 125's are ridden up top and all the shorty does is add down low and takes away from up top. Shorty makes it sound better though, no arguing that.
These dipshits keep testing on this crappy sand track. They need the low.
+Tec 9 hahahaha fr
Can they show where they got the plastics and like the link I want me 95 cr 125 looking a bit like that
Très bonne machine! J ai eu la même !!!...
Hi, nice bike! What kind of lateral plastics are those?
I'm in love!
Whare you get your plastics
What plastics are those?
I grew up riding in a desert just like that! Don't love the "modern" style.... but nice to see a classic ripping it up!
Who can I contact to ask questions about this build?
✊👍👍👍👍👍👍✊😎so pumped right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Was for sale on KSL
Where to get those graphic kit?
What year front fender?
what did you guys have to do to swap forks and shock i am currently in the process of trying to find a similar swap on my 98 cr250 but want to have all parts in stock first
Take off the old ones and put new ones on
These vids are nothing more than adverts for aftermarket companies, they spend more time talking about all the bits they bolted on than anything else...
wowzers
Does anyone know where I can get these graphics?
Can anyone tell me what year the exhaust set up is for?
this bike is for sale in Utah at the moment
would love to see a 99-02 kx250 woods build 😆
Not at MXA. Go bother Dirt Bike about some stupid woods bike. Woods riding is for people too afraid to air it out.
+Jules Winnfield I do both, 2012 Honda for freerideing/track and a 00 kx250 for the woods
Woods riding is for people who don't want to be quadriplegic.
Reminds me of my 1993 Suzuki rm125 that needs a rebuild
Someone knows what year they are behind because ?they are different
amazing performance, but i still prefer the stock look of this bike. Give me the barn door side panels and way too much purple. lol
nice!!
What is a sliver?
I was wondering where the plastics were from? I would love to buy the same style plastic kit for my 1992 CR125.
Its a stock plastic kit just trimmed
@@seaeff6428 what about the front fender though
@@joshmartinez2286 just a newer crf fender. You can drill holes to make it line up.
How could I get newer, nicer looking plastics for my 1999 cr125?
ts_tella14 my first bike was a 99 cr125, I got silver shrouds and side panels. only rode it 4 months then sold it after I got my 2014 crf. kept the silver plastics though
The “hon wan twon five”
if you have all the money in the world it's not hard to have a bike that nice
You ever take it off any sweet jumps
😍

The tank graphics don't have vent holes? (Had to in 99's)Not a thing with new graphics??Looks terrible with them fingers crossed you don't need them!!
Front suspension ?
Front suspension was ruined.
Las tapas traseras de que modelo es?
Sii que modelo es??
where you can buy this bike?
Well, just fire up your time machine and head back to 1995. Or get lucky on Craigslist, whichever is easier.
Yeap I just got lucky and found a 03 cr125 for a good deal v force reeds new back tire fmf gold list goes on, headed tomorrow morning on my trip
Head to your local Honda dealer and buy the new 1995 CR125.
I want that engine in my 1973 Honda CL125S.
Don't want to be rude but this presenter must learn to speak slower and pronounce better.
Mic needs a wind sock
2002 kx125 please
Nice looking bike but 125 is too weak for me. they sound like bees
Sand, uuuggghh
You keep choosing to test these bikes in that crappy beach track. Get them on a real track and let hear about it. This is why MAM is dead.
How to ruin a great bike
