Thank you for posting. Just replaced mine. Your video helped me out. FYI I was able to replace the camera without removing the entire assembly. I left the latch cable attached and was able to squeeze my fingers in just enough to unscrew the camera and replace it.
Thank you very much, I spent hours trying to find a good tutorial for doing this. This by far was the best. I am guessing it saved me a lot of head aches if I had just tried to figure it out on my own.

On my 2010 my camera don’t work or my license plate lights and I have both plugs for camera plugged in but there’s a plug that just hangs and not plugged anywhere do you also have that?
Hello, Did you resolved the issues? I have the same problem, license plate lights not working (I change the bulbs still no work) and camera sometimes works but most of the time I get a black screen
My 2018 Journey crossroad camera is a milky, cloudy piece of trash! I use the rearview mirror and stick my head out the window just to keep from looking at it.
I'd assume you would have to charge the head unit, the trim of where the camera sits and the wiring. That if it's not pre wired for the factory. "Again just my assumption."

Pull back the rubber grommet sleeve and check for broken wires. It’s very common.

@GLegacy oh yes my trim is flat with no camera placement at all but I seen some with the camera already on the panel on ebay 👍
