@@johnyang799 It still heavy and cool even tho it is much difference here and there, the riff sure are minimal but you can tell it's architect stuff. As much as i love them they kind a sound the same with last 3 album, i'm glad they trying something new.

New architects fan here! got into them couple months ago from doomsday. The whole Holy Hell album is such a masterpiece. This song is amazing and can't wait to see what they have next.
Please do yourself a huge favor and listen to their older albums. All of them since Hollow Crown. It will blow your mind if you think Holy Hell is a masterpiece.

I absolutely love this song. But it doesn’t have the old architects vibe that made me fall in love with them. Just the anger and pure sadness they poured into their songs. 10/10 song still

Everyone’s saying it sounds like BMTH but I’m hearing a bit of Three days grace in it too (from their older album) I actually like it tbh, I don’t really listen to a lot of architects so this was great.

I will defo miss the bleghs and the new album better have lots of heavy on but this as a single is awesome. I really really enjoy this. AOGHAU will probs always be my fav Architects album because it got me into them and it also got me through some really tough sh*t some time ago. It’s in my top 5 albums of all time though so I don’t expect the new album to top it at all but I’m sure it will be fire! 🔥🤘

I feel you Nik, I was hyped when I saw their new song on youtube and immediately I expected to hear that "BLEGH". Didn't get to hear it but I still loved the song.

I didn't hear Sylosis really. It's definitely a Josh riff (or a Richard Kruspe one, depending on how you see it), but it's not aa techy as Sylosis, or at least that's my inference

For people wondering, Architects said that before Tom died, he wanted to take Architects in a newer direction with more industrial sounds. Their last album was more of a proving point that they could and would release a new album
They also changed their sound on the here and now so I guess I shouldn't be surprised

I'm personally on the fence, I loved the old architects stuff but I think this new stuff is very BMTH'y with a pinch of Rammstein. it sounds good, especially the breakdown, but if this is gonna be the whole album... it'll be low on the rankings for me

@@Deathovseasons I mean.. no offence but it's happened with a lot of albums now. when unsainted released a lot of people were on the fence, and when WANYK released it divided a lot of people.. it's respectable as to why some people are acting like this when it's happened with previous bands for. another good example is Trivium
@@lilsisgay No one is saying that you have like the latest single, there are 15 songs on the tracklist for the album and we've heard 1 of them. Regardless even if the album is completely like animals why does that affect how much you enjoy the back catalogue? There's so much toxicity in the metal scene for lashing out at bands for going outside their comfort zones and quite frankly thats why genres grow stale, I'd personally prefer bands attempt to innovate and fail than have them regurgitate the same album every two years. Just because they released a single that was different doesn't mean AOGHAU or Holy Hell will be purged from streaming platforms and all cds recalled. Its okay to have a favourite band and absolutely hate one of their albums, it literally has no standing effect on their back catalogue unless they pull a bring me and say they're not performing songs from older albums anymore.

I'm getting some Three Days Grace/Seether, hardrock type vibes. I really like it. It's heavy, fun, poppy. There's nothing crazy about it, just put it on and have fun.
The thing I loved most about architects was the lyrics and sadly without Tom, they're just really missing that. Love the music and style though

I understand what you’re saying, I just think Dan need to find his own style for lyrics and I thinks he is still searching. In the last album all the lyrics were based on the AOGHAU’s lyrics so he didn’t had the opportunity to experiment, so I think that for a while we will see a lot of experimentation also on the lyrics front

As a fan since LF//LT, I like to see them try new things and experiment. They’ve changed sounds in the past, not quite like this. I absolutely love it. Disappointed with no BLEGHs? Yeah, but hey it’s not the end of the world, I’m just excited for more Architects. I expect some in the album (yes I know what he said on Twitter). Sam’s got an amazing voice screaming or not. Fuck the haters, fuck the critics, this song is a catchy banger.

They've been shifting in genre towards Nu Metal for a while now. It's not technically as complex, but It's fucking amazing regardless.

Honestly, I've never really checked out Architects that much, but I really liked this. They focused more on atmosphere which I dig, but I get why people are turned off as it isn't as proggy or pumping as their stuff before this. It's not as much of a problem for me, because I don't know much about that Architects
Check out holy hell album if you weren't as in tune with their older stuff. It's certainly more in line with their old stuff than this but it's still a little different. Less aggressive and more atmosphere.
@@michaelclarke1716 I've listened through it before, and it's amazingly written. I can really appreciate the technicality of the instruments, and Sam's screams are brutal, but it just didn't click for me. I'll give it another go, though
@@_ra1n it didn't really click with me right away either. And architects, for me at least, isn't a bad I can listen to a whole new album at once and really enjoy it. I have to take out a couple songs at a time. So once I did that I really enjoyed it. Then I dove more into the lyrics in the album and it became my favorite album of theirs. Not saying you'll end up liking it but maybe.
That chorus really reminded me of Celldweller. Its obviously different in style, but Architects are talented songwriters and this shows it.
I usually don't like when bands make changes like this, but Architects does it so well...and I'd imagine there will be some heavy stuff on the new album as well.

I feel like Holy Hell is too high a bar to live up to now. I don't like this song too much because it doesn't feel like Architects. I'm wondering what it's gonna look like with later releases. I'm not expecting it to be anywhere close to Holy Hell
Yeah if I'd heard this from a new band I'd be into it, but after Holy Hell this just feels like a bit of a letdown, that album is really special. I'm super interested to hear how the rest of the album sounds, though, if this is what they're putting out as the first single.

I feel conflicted as fuck about it. It's a really good song and if it were by any other band than Architects I'd love it. But for an Architects song it just sounds too much like formulaic BMTH-inspired buttrock. I hope it'll grow on me when I hear it in context of the new record. I hope to understand their vision more as time goes by.
