More than 10 years ago I saw BMTH, Parkway Drive, Architects, and TDWP all one on tour. All of those bands are now gigantic, and still producing incredible music. Exceptionally grateful to have seen Architects live and know they're still kicking harder than ever.
This was my first ever architects gig, and first metalcore show in general, travelled to the UK from the Netherlands. It was the best night of my fucking life, gosh I wish I could be back at this show again. Hope you guys are back in The Netherlands soon for some standalone shows besides festivals! Y'all saved my life. T//S
@@thomasregterschot7371 as soon as I see them coming to the U.S I’m gonna buy myself some tickets. I’m they’ve quickly become my favorite band in like the last year
@@Bugga-Ray-Dudley The vibe in ally pally was SO MUCH better than their NL gig though, I felt sorry for them because of the lack of crowd participation there
Although I’m not much a fan of their musical endeavors these days(been with them since Ruin), these guys once wrote music which will forever hold a special place in my heart. Watching them continue to push forward and find success makes me incredibly happy for them. RIP Tom 🖤 Never forget.
Can't agree more, hope they are happy with what they're creating and find the success they ultimately deserve even if I don't agree with their music direction
The thing is that, whatever kind of music they are producing now, nobody can take away their greatness live. I also grew out of them in the last years, but they are my top 3 bands I have seen live, for sure.
@@mcroni13 Oh without a doubt. These guys have never failed to show the utmost dedication to their craft over the years. And honestly, I think a lot of that comes from their roots. In their younger years they were a highly technical metal band, meaning they had no choice but to nail down demanding parts. And Sam? Sam is, without question, an S-tier vocalist. If you go back and watch his performances on say, the NeverSayDie Tour, his vocal dexterity was *unparalleled* especially when you *understand* his old vocal style. He relied entirely on his false-cords, meaning he was legitimately shouting at the top of his lungs throughout their entire set, night after night, as well as having the cardio of a professional athlete. Fast forward to present day, after fucking white-knuckling through the emotionally catastrophic loss of their friend and brother, Tom, they kicked into overdrive and pushed forward, smashing the glass ceiling most metal bands bounce off of… Long story short, not many people understand just how truly special Architects was/is. Their story is the epitome of the human experience, and I wish them nothing but good health, fulfillment, and success. If anyone deserves it, it’s them.
@@athameteam IMO it's All Our God's Have Abandoned Us or Lost Forever // Lost Together... its all before Tom died and the lyrics are heavy hitting along with the instruments, it truly is their best work, even into Holy Hell which was post Tom's death, really really heavy stuff that kept that sound tho
i see them in 2010 in a small place "Le Splendid" in Lille,France with BMTH, i didnt know the band, now i see them soon with metallica at Stade de France O.O CANT WAIT

I can't wait to experience a Architects show again, they are incredible, you go through all sorts of states, mostly headbanging, crying, headbanging again. Love u❤❤❤
My god this sounds amazing. I was just talking the other day about how it's amazing that some bands like Rammstein can sound absolutely crystal clear live. But this one is really fucking close to perfect too. Not very often that bands sound this good live - even for DVD filming, it rarely has this kind of sound quality.
@@joelkelly3225 for sure. still sounds amazing and I don't understand why more bands don't do this at least once lol. I know the venue can definitely make a difference too. Anything at the Red Rocks usually sounds pretty epic.
@@martinoresnik4435 Yeah you're dead right, the venue is a big thing too. As long as the sample enhancement is done in good taste, then I think a modern live metal production can sound pretty awesome like this.
I’m happy you guys are now massively successful, but less happy that you’ve moved well and truly away from the perfection that was all our gods have abandoned us. Best of luck though.

I can't think of many live performances that sound almost identical to the studio version, but this is definitely one of the best I've seen.
Was just thinking about how all of their mixes are so damn good!
Tapes like Kiss🤔
And the crowd shouting "pull the pin" adds an extra haunting element :P
There's a lot of production after the initial recording I'd guess. Sounds good.
The way the crowd sings is something out of this world. Especially on the part Animals
