This is, by far, the greatest evolution in metal of this century. BMTH struck gold when they played the RAH with the Parallax Orchestra and Choir Noir. I want more bands to do this shit and just emphasize the musicality of metal. It can literally only improve songwriting and accessibility.
@@johnyludvigsson yet another pioneering idea from the top dogs, may not have been the very first to do it but definitely the first to really go for it in a big way.
It was honestly a mistake that they didn't make the album orchestral. Loved the orchestral elements with Holy Hell, and it clearly works a whole lot more with the new stuff, too!
@@squidburton1387 yeah, ftwwte is so much better in the Abbey road version... Idk what it is but the studio album with kinda of meh but this makes the songs sooooooo much better
The pre breakdown part sounds like it's the scary part where the bad guy shows in a movie and the breakdown is like the main character fighting the bad guy
idk... is it just me... or does this song sound so much better with the orchestra? I mean don't get me wrong it's one of my favorite architects songs... but this just makes it sound so much more... intense just sam hitting those falsetto notes like they're nothin
I think I genuinely prefer this version to the original, I love strings in an orchestra, but I can't wait to see them live in March! I get goosebumps every-time I see this video
If I was in that orchestra, I'd definitely head bang. Hard for wind players to head bang while playing though. Strings, no excuse, especially cello and bass
Great reaction. Anyway, can i request your reaction to superb band from japan? The band is call "Lovebites" They all Beautiful female metal band. But they are really really World class musicians. And they have a lot fans too. The song is "Winds of Transylvania" Hope you check out, and can enjoy it too. Big thanks🙏
My reaction to the warning was the same. I saw a lot of clips, but no one paid so much attention to the harsh color or sounds. And some should have warned)
He's using the same DSLR he uses for the reactions he does on his main TH-cam. The key difference is it's the greenscreen and chroma settings making it look terrible. Also we're blowing up the small section of Nik which doesn't help. He has tweaked it a bit since this though 'Phrost
You may think you're metal, but you'll never be as metal as the one guy in the orchestra whose job is to literally hit a steel bar with a hammer
Thor? That you? xD
'Phrost
We are taking Shawn cawnray the thr clown to a new level
You mean Thor?
@@NikNocturnalTwitchClips hi -what’s phrost
Imagine how pro the orchestra, they didnt headbang when architects literally perform infront of them
Hai bang
I know right, they must be professionals at the Try Not to Headbang challenges 🤣
'Phrost
1:17 they are actually headbanging but in elegant way
@@aliaulman 𝓱𝓮𝓪𝓭𝓼𝓱𝓪𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓰
its hard to headbang with something under your chin and you have to read music, the cellos and basses can headband fine tho
I'm a cellist, and I learn classical music, but as a metalhead, my biggest dream is to play in projects like this
We clearly like this stuff so I’d take that opportunity and start posting covers. You don’t know where 1 video could take you.
I agree with Jesse
Look up 2 cellos . Those guys are awesome
@@Brandon47 Yes, I know them:)
I hope you've been gifted that experience?...🤞
I need a Dead Butterflies version of this with a live orchestra
That would be dope!
'Phrost
Fuck that would slam
Love that one
Already)
wish granted

When bands say they tried something different this is what we hope for not them taking out all the real instruments and going pop.
Metallica - S&M. Whole effin concert with this shit!
@@johnyludvigsson yet another pioneering idea from the top dogs, may not have been the very first to do it but definitely the first to really go for it in a big way.
@@timbob1145 very true! I love that record(s, it's a dubbel album after all😅)
@@timbob1145 maybe you didn't see Metallica and the orchestra album they made?
As a trumpet player, those trumpets are going IN.
The horns gave me major “going to war” vibes. Absolutely loved it!
The song just became a Zack Snyder Soundtrack
Noone has ever nailed anything as much as this.
Huh
So true but to be more accurate, HANS ZIMMER lol
Nah more like a Monsterverse theme
I didn't predict reading this here, but it's basically true
This version of the song brought me to tears almost... This was AMAZING
The feels are real
'Phrost
It just sounds so majestic with the orchestra involved. It has more weight and intensity in a sense, the violins add so much and I love it so much
It was honestly a mistake that they didn't make the album orchestral. Loved the orchestral elements with Holy Hell, and it clearly works a whole lot more with the new stuff, too!
They're live streaming the entire album with the orchestra in this same studio tonight!
@@nickthomas311 YO THANKS, I'M EXCITED

I want this version in a fight scene in a movie or a video game so badly. This was beautifully made.
The pre breakdown part sounds like it's the scary part where the bad guy shows in a movie and the breakdown is like the main character fighting the bad guy
Metal just works with an orchestra. Just look at Metallica with the SF orchestra.
everything works with an orchestra..
And bmth at royal Albert.
Or Satyricon with Norwegian orchestra..
EXACTLY my thought right there!! Metallica plus orchestra takes that stuff to another damn level!

Orchestra has that magic, ya know? Jus, you wanna intensify this a bit? _Orchestra._
They didn't headbang, but you could tell they were loving it and so into it
Architects crushed it. Alter Bridge performed a live show with a full orchestra on stage and they crushed it!
They were probably dying not being able to headbang but they couldn't bc it would probably screw up their performance
But headbang metronome?! 🤣
'Phrost
1:17 they are actually headbanging but in elegant way
This orchestra version is giving me bmth at royal albert hall vibes. Sounds very epic😆👌🏼

This song is fucking brilliant period! Hats off to Architects as usual.
If only they would do Doomsday like this.
This song is epic! But the orchestral version just blows it out the park!!
IDK why but i feel this would be sick as a james bond intro song
the folks in the orchestra going just a bit harder than the guys in the band itself is a great thing to see
Wow 👏 made the song stand out that much more, so incredible! Love orchestra mix! Yes the dubstep mix with some other songs would be interesting
4:08 dude was head banging just a little
They actually were groovin tho!!! You can see towards the end they are either moving their head while playing or swaying lol
This sounds like some Danny Elfman Batman shit. This is super friggin good.
Sounds Heavier than the Studio Version, I Was Shocked!! I Loved it 🔥
I love how the horn drop shut him up. Orchestra versions are cool especially metal. It's like Hans Zimmer on steroids with drums
Soundtrack of the next James Bond movie coming to a theater near you
If you have an orchestra use it good!...Congratulations Architects
Amazing!! This song goes so well with the orchestra.
I'm imagining if Caleb Shomo did an orchestral version of disease and how good that would be lol
Looove this version. It's sooo good!
This is the video I've been waiting for! 🤘
I love the T//S ear pieces Sam is wearing.
This was godly
Yooooo, he delivered with the reaction I asked for, your awesome Nik, stay metal
Yeah he checked it out on stream. There's just too much music being released and not enough Nik to go around 🤣
'Phrost
still such a headbanger!
It is really a crazy ass hard challenge for the orchestra to not headbanging while performing this song together with Architects
Why has no one ever reacted to the change (in the house of flies) cover by Architects?
Loved this one .. feels like S&M but more much more intense and full
I saw one of the cellists headbanging after you called the vote. Not massively, but it was there.
Beautiful version of the song. Better than the original I would say. The symbiosis of the orchestra and the modern music is just so nice to hear.
I love this channel

They didn't headbang, but they did have shit eating grins all throughout. They loved every second of it.
Orchestral version of bleed now please!
This song is now the Viking war anthem
Wow🤯
Beethoven is of the lit
Violins in the chorus sound like linkin park
