I am not an expert on this game, I just love it's tech. I very much like the way you talk. For me it is very relaxing just to watch and listen. Thank you. :)
I think, unless it was just fun.. Serral won this game by asking for the leftover minerals/gas. By that point he knew how much he needs to kill and how much neeb can reubild. Also knowing that he can rebuild his own army waaaayy faster. Great game, nice cast. Well done lowko
Full respect to Neeb for holding out as long as he did, I lost count of how many times he could have slipped up and didn't and held on until the final stand. Watch and learn was exactly right! Once again Serral schools us all; march of the Queens and the unstoppable juggernaut that is the swarm under the control of the real overmind, Serral. Fantastic game, great cast Lowko!
Arent queens a bit too versatile? They are the best defense early game. They ALWAYS provide value so making them early game is not a waste. You can defend, spread creep, heal buildings, push with them to heal units. They are still quite useful and pretty much a MUST for late game to heal some troops. What other unit in SC2 is half as versatile and as useful in so many roles?...They are cheap, dont cost gas, dont cost larvae, and dont take much supply.
I hear what you're saying, and agree they are the most versatile unit in the game. But all of their roles are critical and I don't see a real problem. Every race has something that on it's own appears very strong, but is actually compensating for underlying weaknesses. The only thing I'll say about Queens that seems "overpowered" is like what we saw in this game, where in niche ultra late game scenarios, it's possible to mass them, collect full energy, and transfuse for days. But that's a rare occurrence and I don't see how to fix that, if it even should be fixed.
@@colehunter71 There's a few easy ways. 1- Reduce their max energy 2- Limit the amount of queens you can produce (1 per existing hatchery maybe?) 3- Do not allow a second transfuse to instaheal if a first transfuse is already healing the same unit. 4- Reduce their HP or change their armour type ( I feel they are a bit too tanky for what they are) 5- DIvide all those roles they fit in to 2 separate units (Take some abilities/roles away from the queen and create a new unit)
@@benjamindeh873 These sound like terrible ideas that would kill zerg early game. Only 1 per hatch? forget about ever getting to spread creep then because you can't afford to not be injecting.
@@colby1398 And you wouldnt be able to defend with only queens from both land and air and you wouldnt be able to push late game with a lot of queens and you wouldnt be able to nydus and invade the enemy with queens and roaches...thats...kind of part of the point of my suggestion, queen does too much. Or outright remove queens and replace them with mana in the hatch and a skill to inject, and then add another unit which spreads creep. Or divide the queen in to 2 units: A weak base managing queen (Inject + spread creep, maybe even also the healing thing, but she cant attack) and an early game defending unit. Lower the price of the queen so you can produce both enough queens and defending units. There are a lot of options to make queens more balanced. Now if your argument is "Nah, the fact that the queen is super useful from the very start of the game, to the very end of the game, and does almost everything unlike any other unit in the game is TOTALLY balanced"...well..Thats a different argument than just disliking one of dozens of options to fix that issue. No other unit in the game does as much as the queen and is as useful thorough the entire game. Not even remotely close. Terrans have a trash unit which is mostly used at the start of the game (reaper, you rarely see more than 1 in an entire game, some times not even that). Why couldnt zerg have something similar? say for creep spreading for example.
That was one of the greatest games i've ever seen you cast! Lategame like this isn't all too common when it comes to the pros we usually see, so this was really refreshing. It kinda reminded me of the 3h gandmaster battle royal xD

Lowko could you please cast some more viewer matches? They're crazy fun and it would be great when you don't have great (well played) games to cast.
Love the content either way :D
This is honestly one of the best, if not literally the best, game I've ever witnessed. Serral is an absolute Starcraft god
Omg Serral spoke to him. Lowko has talked with god.
That was a beautiful game! Thanks for casting it!
48:45 Serral: I'll show u
That was a beast of a game! Lowko says "zerglings are useless, to zerglings are the mvps of this match. So i gotta say the march of the queens was terrifying to witness.

Always love super long games!
So did you end up having to pay for the replay?
Thanks for the episode~
Honestly, this game was more of a get to pay =D
Phenomenal game, thanks for casting this Lowko!
Are they trying to do the For Auir scene? XD
That was a great game! ^^
Thanks to them for sharing it with us and to you for casting it! ;)
"I am going to beat you with mass Queens."
Lowko: Terran doesn't have a good static defense.
Planetary Fortress: am I a joke to you?
"Run out of good games to cast"
Have you tried to cast silver or gold viewer submitted games? Or you just forget that thing exist (which is more reasonable)?
gold and silver...good games...am i missing a point here...or did you not make an ironic smily at the end? :D
@@YpsilonK (sarcasm_off) have you ever watched viewer's submitted games? Pro games looks boring compared to them.
@@SeriousApache to be fully honest. can´t stand bad plays. it s like watching kids play bball at the park. but hey, if you happy with it, I m happy for you! it s just not for me. all love
SO MANY QUEENS. What an incredible game. Both of these players are amazing.
I wanna see him host a game with AI vs AI but they both have unlimited apm
omg, yes please
i want this i need this
I absolutely love watching Serral play- such a beast with location/timing/hard strats, literally everything- Zerg GOAT
StarCraft 2: THE MAP IS MINED OUT! (Serral vs Neeb)
"THE MAP IS MINED OUT!" great name lol
I had to wait till after work to watch this because the video was still rendering when I woke up. So hype to see this!
Low level Starcraft: One side wins
High level Starcraft: play to a draw
Like Chess
I am not an expert on this game, I just love it's tech. I very much like the way you talk. For me it is very relaxing just to watch and listen. Thank you. :)
Game is so long it's still 360p T_T
Seeing this match made me want to play Starcraft 2 again. Thanks Lowko.

I think, unless it was just fun.. Serral won this game by asking for the leftover minerals/gas.
By that point he knew how much he needs to kill and how much neeb can reubild. Also knowing that he can rebuild his own army waaaayy faster.
Great game, nice cast. Well done lowko
So early and the vid seems only in 360P for some reason?
TH-cam processing is very slowly today for some reason. Still processing till 4k
Dragon Cleavage challenge
@@colehunter71 There's a few easy ways.
1- Reduce their max energy
2- Limit the amount of queens you can produce (1 per existing hatchery maybe?)
3- Do not allow a second transfuse to instaheal if a first transfuse is already healing the same unit.
4- Reduce their HP or change their armour type ( I feel they are a bit too tanky for what they are)
5- DIvide all those roles they fit in to 2 separate units (Take some abilities/roles away from the queen and create a new unit)
Or divide the queen in to 2 units:
A weak base managing queen (Inject + spread creep, maybe even also the healing thing, but she cant attack) and an early game defending unit.
"I ran out of good games to cast" - So you cast another game where Serral wins?
what is Serral's ladder win percentage, maybe 75%? It is kinda hard casting his games without him winning most of them...
@@Vaqek Serral has 152 wins and 32 losses this season on his main account in european ladder.
Serial has a brief moment where it looks like he might be forced into a draw with Protoss
Lowko: Ok the Zerg nerfs have to stop now.
@@quintus920 Uh, yeah. If the literal best player in the world gets to a point where winning isn't possible, then something is wrong. You expect the best to win; that's what they do.
Just very short into this one, but i wanna say:
GOOD JOB LOWKO!
Offering even to pay them for the replay is awesome. There are so many epic games probably playing out on ladder and maybe other casters can do this as well so less fortunate players might get a few bucks as well :) (as long as fixed games are avoided) :) I hope this becomes a thing. Now let's grab some cookies and some coke zero and be happy!
