"IF THIS IS IT, IF THIS IS ALL THERE IS, I HOPE YOU LIVE, I HOPE YOU LIVE" The album is one long song, broken into 12 songs. It's an instrumental, and this song is the eleventh song. The only song with lyrics. I felt like the lyrics were being told to me, as I was watching,, made me tear up cuz I felt like she was talking to me and I needed to hear those words. Great album, awesome song. "I'm fine with this"
It's pretty much the same for me, when I first heard this song, it wasn't even a year since my father passed and I still struggled very hard with my grief and all the emotions that come with that. This song gave a power and positive emotions I haven't felt in a long time before that, it still scratches that melancholical itch in my brain, but it also gives me something hopeful. Blackshape really created something quiet poetic with this duality in the song.
i've watched pretty much every reaction to this song that I can find and you're the first to truly grasp and vocalize what it is that is occurring; the confrontation with and murder of her demons, the duality of her existence echoed in the imagery, the light being seen as she survives her own attempt to end her suffering mirrored with the light being seen as she quelled those demons and seeing a path forward. she's speaking to herself as much as she is to us as viewers... if this is it, if this is all there is, i hope you live. i hope you live. this is about growth, triumph, and perspective. truly beautiful. truly heartbreaking. truly unforgettable.
When i found this song, i was speechless. It was right in the feelings, especially when you going through rough times, when i heard the lyrics and next few times i instatly had tears in the eyes. The song is a masterpiece and i dont even have words how greatly its written. Great reaction man, so many options how to look on this song. Also im a fan of Make them suffer, God is An Astronout, Pelican and this was mix with all i love about all these bands.
I can't remember a moment where i did not cried listening to this song. I relate to this song like someone who as lost a big love and was submited to a big treason, by a boyfriend or some friend, i guess. She then entered in a some kind of depressive state, shackled by those felling she keept seeing what she feard the most and at some point she was able to confront it!. At the beggining she says she's fine with this, BUT there's nothing! she's fine with nothing! Just a void inside her and the depression it brings. In the end she tried to get rid of what tormented her and failed and she cant stay fine with it!! And much possible, she ended her life, accepting she was not fine and the way to get better was death (the meteorite scene) and the end ''i'm fine with this'' With the premisse she actually wants the person who hurt her to move on with is life! That's my point of view. Fantastic reaction. Sorry for bad english Cheers from Portugal

In the full album, the song that immediately follows is so light and triumphant, it's beautiful as an individual song and as a full album

Saudações, esta música é demasiado profunda
I believe this song is about freeing yourself through radical forgiveness. Life is too short to imprison ourselves in resentment and anger.
Great interpretation
The song cuts off suddenly because the album is a suite, so it's a long song with different parts.
Thanks Sohum. This is why I love watching the reactors I watch; new musical experiences.
If we have to represent our world with a hymn... Here we are: The ultimate world song.
First words on the album
❤
I love this song so much. It brings me back to my past of jamming to the Contortionist
The only bad part of this song is that I didn't discover it when it was released!
This is fine.
Great interpretation ❤
Surprisingly beautiful! Thanks for reacting to them.
I hope you live.
Greta Van Fleet meet the master react next please
