- 2001 Honda CR80rb (big wheel) Expert gets a big bore kit (cr100). Full Rebuild and first start/ride with a few wheelies thrown in there. This 2 stroke had a clapped top end but now its rebuilt.

I just rebuilt my 89 cr 80 and I lest the motor in the bike the wrist pins are a pain in the ass

The sections of the cylinder that hang down lower than the rest is there so you can start one side before the rest and it makes it super easy

Literally just rebuilt my 1990 cr80r and my clip fell in bottom end lol had to get a magnetic flat head screw driver I got lucky!!!!

I have a 2000 CR80 and bought the Lukes Racing 105 big bore kit, he sent me 2 new KEIHIN jets, 145 and 148, I was also thinking about upgrading the reeds to a v-force 3, any suggestions? thanks

Big bores say the "original" cc i have a yz 85 big bore fmx bike 112 cc the cylinder says 84cc and I have a banshee 421 that the cylinder says 348cc

i rebuilt a cr80 engine i got from a tweeker who cracked the crank case trying to put the two halves back together with some obscene form of bumblefuckery, i jb welded the cracks and found out where everything went and got it back together, have the bent expansion chamber and radiator too, put it all on a bicycle and go 80 miles an hour is the plan

OEM bottom end over hot rods... people put those cheap bottoms ends in and some are having crank walk in under 10 hours. Pro x piston and gem is the shit
They dont call em siezeco pistons for nuthin,give it extra oil in the premix and make sure the piston to wall clearance isnt too tight

Yo how much to power coat my engine and etc to make it look good shot me a estimate
it was a tiny trials bike before he put the seat on
and another damn thing. . .the tweeker managed to keep all the parts but 2 bolts and the wrist pin snap rings. . .i jb welded the wrist pin in the piston. . .i got the engine free like everything else, if it does somehow blow up i wont be fixing it also no snap rings in the crank case to worry about :D , but its got shift levers and kick start and everything, looks identical to that engine they have, also the motor started out with a burned up rod bearing so the tweeker got a new crank and stripped the shit out of the flywheel end so i had to grind about 1/8 inch off it and wire wheel the burrs off it so a bolt threaded on it again. . .tweekers are not mechanics

FlyingWldAlaska77 lmao i promise you have never properly rebuilt an engine. You can get the snap ring online for $5. Cheaper than a tube of jb weld. You just dont know what the hell youre doing.
if ive never properly rebuilt an engine than why do i have atleast 2 with 100+ hours on them since i completely rebuilt them? and i wasnt going to wait a week for it to come in, also good luck finding a proper size wrist pin snap wring without buying the piston kit, i didnt bother to look, btw ill bet you never even had a weedwacker motor apart, keyboard commando, go live on a farm for a while, not everyone has time or patience for OEM parts and dealership service and shit, you can promise ive never properly rebuilt an engine? now swear on your life ive never properly rebuilt an engine, i hope that comes to bite you in the ass lol

FlyingWldAlaska77 ask anyone to let you rebuild their engine using JB weld and they'll laugh in your face. Id say youre the tweeker who fd it up in the first place :)
