Thanks for letting me drop by for a few minutes of viewing pleasure, Danny. Look forward to every one of your videos and admire your work ethic. Always productive! Keep truckin'.
Thank you Danny. My favorite Dim Sums at Yum Cha. There use to be a bunch of Yum Cha restaurants in LA area prior to pandemic. Now most closed. I will try this in Vegas. Merry Christmas 💕👍.
Happy Holidays and enjoy everything in Las Vegas. The weather elsewhere is terrible and flights are delayed for Christmas so stay put. Yum Cha is a very good restaurant that has a good reputation for cheap and tasty dim sum.
Loved your review of Yum Cha. We visited it on Thursday morning on our way to Red Rocks. The dim sum was pretty good, almost on par with another of your recommendations on Orchid Garden. Both services were wonderful. I liked that you can order from the menu, which meant it was served hot. I was not brave enough to try the chili paste. I also value my life. Strange we were served with paper plates when we were there. I still recommend it
I usually stay at the Orleans and had no idea Yum Cha was nearby!! I've been going to Ping Pang Pong at the Gold Coast for my dim sum fix in LV. By coincidence, you ordered six of my favorite dim sum items, so this video was extremely helpful. I especially enjoy good turnip cake, and from your reaction, this turnip cake is better than good!! And there's nothing like good chili oil to add another layer of flavor to turnip cake... 😂 Yum Cha will be a "must-do" on my next trip to Las Vegas. Liked and subbed!!! Thanks, Danny!!!!
Thank you Danny for the review of this place it’s was amazing! I took my daughter there when we went into Vegas and loved it. Most the time we go to Viet Noodle Bar because that’s what she likes. If you have time maybe a review of it? I would love to see what you think.
Love your videos. I like when you order the same items as you can judge the consistency. I have found, over time, restaurants are serving bland food to satisfy sensitive pallets. Unfortunately, the food needs the condiments to help it taste better. I try to order my food with a little spice. I imagine the cooks prefer to cook this way.
Ate there when I was in Vegas back in October. The har cheung tasted like it sat out over night. Everything else wasn’t bad. You said oyster sauce for the turnip cake. Isn’t it usually hoisin? Gonna try Orchids Garden when I go back in July. Wife and I love watching your videos!
Hi Danny, As a local, I'm surprised you gave this place a Thumbs Up rating. Piping hot dishes too ! We may have to try it out now. Thanks ! Merry Xmas !
Good Dim Sum review. Playing it safe ordering the most popular dishes. First time had Dim Sum was 1987 in LA Chinatown and my uncle ordered like 20 different dishes and the check came out to $18. Gone are those days :).
tbh..being from the east coast, NYC and toronto dim sum, which can compete with hong kong/west coast, is NOT nearly this expensive...pure nonsense with this restaurant menu pricing.
Mmmmmm....watching this before breakfast and it's making me drool! We could definitely have tea together as you always order all my faves. Just missing ngao yuk. Was that bo lay tea? You need to try goon yum or sau mei next time.
My friend Danny the medic for those who comment remember you are a full grown man it's your Channel do what you like eat what you like and tell the rest of them to piss in a fan LOL
@@dannythemedic The best way I found, when trying new foods, you probably already do. Bring friends along and each one get something they have not ever tried but are curious about, along with things they know they like. Share between all.
I'm gonna try this place this Thursday...from Cali. You order the same stuff I order but it's not dim sum without black bean chicken feet. Add in some tripe and sticky rice and its all good.
That’s good dim sum restaurant we went there a few days ago while we traveling in Vegas. They have good selection of dim sum…the price is fair. The chicken feet is my favorite it’s very tasty love it! 太好食! Jasmine tea is my favorite.
Well organized menu, very nice review, but I am surprised that you did not include two classics to your order: spare ribs and chicken feet. Stay well in your travels.
Hmmm, you probably already know this, but "thank you" in Cantonese when they provide you a service should still be the the "please" at the beginning of your request. Great video. Did not know they have "Dim Sum" in Vegas. They remind me of the ones I had in Hong Kong. Thanks!
@@dannythemedic You said "Thank you" in Chinese to the waiter who was providing a service. The proper "Thank you" should be the "please" at the beginning of the request. In Cantonese, there are two types of "Thank You" vs. one overall "Thank you" in English or Mandarin. I grew up in Hong Kong and my dad was a Chinese Language and History Professor. But I am sure you know this already since you enunciate most of the Cantonese "words" pretty well. Love your reviews. They are pretty funny, especially at PF Chang.
7:31 - OMG DANNY!! i dont know if you noticed but at this time stamp, and for the rest of the video, its your twin at the table behind you! im going to email you a blown up screen shot. same hat, look and all!
oh I dont know anymore, u gotta find a recent menu to see how much things would cost you... even then, I also find that some places have the menu online that when I get to the place, the prices was more than online menu... prices are crazy nowadays they blame the past few years and hike up the prices
I've yet to try this place. Have watched vids of others but, to date, yours is the most entertaining....LOL I apologize DtM, it's because of the expression on your face when you discover how hot the dim sum is when you first put it in your mouth. Again, apologies for my enjoyment at your expense / pain LOL Did you not notice the steam rising from the dishes when delivered ? ....even after how long you took to eat the noodle rolls PLUS asking / waiting for the water ?! I could see the steam rising in the video !! I'm impressed how hot the dishes are when they arrives though. Wasn't that one of the reasons you didn't enjoy your first visit to KJ"s DimSum @ the RIO ? Hey, have you tried Babystacks yet? They opened a new place in Chinatown, across the street east from 99 Ranch Market. They serve breakfast with an Asian flair.
There is A LOT on that menu. Looks like they have various regional Chinese dishes, Chinese American, Malaysian, and maybe even some Hakka dishes? Anyway, keep ordering what you usually order the first time around. That way, we can (eventually) go back and compare your thoughts vs other places. If you go back, maybe try something else as well.
Dan completely agree with you at the restaurant viewer never ever mix vinegar with the food you are right the chemical might change the base taste liking your filming keep it up until next time
Danny...Chinese new year is just around the corner. I think it's the best time to be in Vegas with all the colorful decorations and lion dances. Hopefully, you'll be making tons of video there for us to see.
Danny, I went to Yum Cha today and it’s everything you said it is! The dim sum was delicious! Next time you’re there, have the Golden Lava sweet for dessert. Outstanding!
Danny said once: "... when they have beef blood soup, you know you're in a real Chinese place". So when you see Chinese vegan food, what kind of place are you in?
I came here…I find the dim sum just ok, service was excellent. But they were really stingy with the portions for the amount you are paying. I wouldn’t go back if I stayed in Vegas again.
🎁Merry Christmas Danny. 🎄Love you videos. ==> OMG ... a score of 9.7 on the Turnip Cakes. I'm going to Vegas just for the Turnip Cakes. Thank you for your honesty, effort and comedy. You have brought some laughter and happiness into my life.

I love Shrimp Toast and Salt and Pepper Calamari plus lots of other dishes as well, but those two are my all-time favourites.
If I ever get to Las Vegas I'll be happy to try out some of the restaurants there.
Excellent looking place. Have stayed at Orleans but never been to this place. Looks like it's worth checking it out! Merry Christmas, DtM 🎄

potstickers, lotus leaf wrapped pork rice, and the custard buns or the egg tarts are good here too.
Thank you 😋

Glad you enjoyed it
Vegam Chinese is not always sucky. If you get to Newport Bearch CA, try "Din Din at the Bamboo Terrace". They do things with Tofu that are hevenly!
I know when I have a prime rib at California Hotel, there is no MSG in the steak. Can you say the same about this restaurant?
I dunno... im sensative if there is alot, but otherwise i cant tell
Yum Cha has the potential for being a RumChata type drink. I'm thinking Dim Sum flavored rum might be pushing it though.
Vinegar is a must for pan fried potstickers.
Omg seen a few of your dim sum vlogs makes me want to run out to get some.😊
i want some right now too!!
DELISH!!!! LOOKS ALL GOOD.
Dim Sum quality has dramatically improved since I was in LV!
Merry Chistmas....
Danny the Medic, is that your twin brother, the one in your right shoulder, wearing same color hat ?
i noticed that too!
