Heads up for anyone trying this - you’ll be fine if you follow the steps in the video, but you’ll need the 10th Anniversary Edition of OPL (DB TA) to get the PS1 games option. Also, POPstarter isn’t the most reliable emulator, so some games may not work well (i.e. Klonoa will freeze at some points).

Followed the tutorial, but it didn't work. The PS1 games werent loading, because the newer OPL Manager doesnt have the Batch Convert VCD anymore, so you'll have to manually rename every VCD file (add the SLUS or SCES ID infront of it). This did it for me and now i can finally play. Thank you Blaine :)

Where did u find that OPL version?
So if I were do all the magic stuff but partition and format my PS2 HDD (where my ps2 back-ups live) and place my new VCD files in there would they still work?
Every game I try including THPS ends up at a black screen after the ps1 logo and never loads. It shouldn't be my usb stick itself, right? I have the OPL 10th anniversary and the latest POP version. I do have a later model PS2 Slim 90001.
How do you swap disks on multi disk games using this method for ps1?

Hi Blaine can you Please make a Tutorial on how to Merge Multiple PS1 game discs to a single Disk for OPL
Could you put the PS1 games on your HDD if you already have one set up with OPL for PS2 games?
Very handy and easy tutorial, altpugh i have two questions, if i want to run more backed up games do i need to do this method at every single game, or i can do this with multiple games in the same time, and do i need to set back those settings in order to run PS2 backed up games?
-newbie here, thanks😊
It’s probably cos I have a different model but I can play my ps1 games on ps2 with just the disc
Is it possible to put those games on PS2 HD? A guide for that would be awesome, thank you for all others Blaine! :)
Do I have to do every step for every game or can I just keep adding games..?
