I started this game today and had literally no idea what I was supposed to do. Everything was so confusing but after watching this video I now have a starting point and everything is a lot less complicated
I've played the last couple weeks with unlimited money just to get a feel for the mechanics of the game. Got a city up to 100k citizens and the city is actually profitable! Gonna start a new city and play legit. This series is gonna help a lot!
I used the frame and start of the city from this tutorial then expanded it! Got over 16k citizens and the city wasn't demanding stuff like workers or education!
I've always wanted to play city skylines because I grew up playing Sim City 2000. As you can see that would've been a long time ago. The console version just felt weird and City building mechanics have long left this brain. Thank you so much for the help! You've definitely made this game more enjoyable for me through your 'how to' series! Thank you again!
This helps so much not only with the basics but the little things like placing power lines and pipes and knowing that darkened area is what’s actually covered and how to access sub menus. I’m going to start my city similar to yours but then venture out on my own from there. Great series!

I was watching your 2019 playlist because the last time I played a game like this, it had an Egyptian setting, it was a CD, and I was around 10 years old😂 so I honestly had no idea what I was doing thanks to the lack of tutorials in the game, but now am following your tutorials religiously to try and understand how this all works. Not only are you thorough in your information, but you sound calm and have a great voice. I tried sitting through other people's tutorials, but, if I'm being honest, they are annoying to listen to. The information comes in one ear and out the other because of it. My point: thank you for making these videos, and thank your parents for giving you such a likeable voice!
Wow. 8 times I tried to set up a city before watching this. I was spreading power lines all over the place and piping. I made it to the 1st milestone once, however my roads were gravel and when I tried to upgrade it said I couldn’t. I nearly gave up playing it. Seeing this video & how you’ve explained it better than a cpl others I looked at, going give it another go. Great work keep it up.
What a Noob!! I am. 8hrs in I was doing pretty good, then all my people started getting sick and dying, I couldn’t figure out why, then I realised I had put the Enhanced wind turning right by my water in flow. There was no coming back as there was microbial organisms in the water. Oh well try try try again lol

I sat and fiddled with the game's pre-made roundabouts forever trying to figure out out to make them work with the starting highway exits because I never understood how curved roads work. This video was immediately helpful. Sub earned. I look forward to checking out your channel more.

New to this on PS4, so thanks for having a Console focused videos. A great tip I found also from Target TH-camr is when starting out you can build with dirt roads as it is cheap and don't really need fancy roads right off the bat. Also, you can drop the budget on the roads to zero for a long time. as well as use water towers. My main struggle is connecting everything from highways and road planning, but getting there :)

Mouse and keyboard support helps. You should try it. If you have a USB hub, it's even easier... Especially if they're wireless.

Just starting this game and have no clue what im doing. So far I'm loving your vids the most followed by the city builder guy, you both are a lot more explanatory, strategic and your voices are more clear. I'm sure a keyboard and mouse is so much better than the controller on xbox.
