Not a bad looking little car. If its not to slow I might like an AWD one someday. It don't have to be a Race car,but I would like to be alright on the interstate.
The RDX does not look like a baby MDX. It looks more like an MDX "cousin" - similar in looks. But this new ADX....., well this thing definitely looks like a baby MDX all the way. The exterior looks and exterior styling is much much closer between the ADX and MDX. From the front headlights and grill, to the side view lines and swoop, to the rear taillights and bumper. It's like Acura took an MDX (very elegant yet sporty) and shrunk it down to a smaller scale. Look very nice (I have an MDX A-Spec...., I'm jealous now and want an ADX too). But a turbo 1.5 is kind of weak. They should go 2.0 turbo. Maybe Acura is saving that for the ADX Type-S (Ooow - I'm really really jelly now).
Ok, it’s based on the same platform as the Acura Integra and Honda HR-V (the side profile looks a lot like the HR-V) and will share the Integra’s 1.5 I4 turbo, so, when can we expect the ADX Type S model, if it does happen, I’m guessing a DCT, it will sell, but probably at the expense of the Integra, pricing will be everything, to see if the ADX and Integra can coexist
BMW X1/Audi Q3 are belong in the sub compact category. This means that they are 44xx to 45xx mm long vechicles. If the measurements are correct at 183 inches, then this is not. At 47xx mm long when converted, the ADX fits in the compact class of vehicles which are 46xx to 47xx mm long vehicles. Think Rav4, X3, Q5 category. It also means it's competiting against its own RDX. It's ironic considering the HRV that it's based on is actually 45xx mm long.
I like the look but why is it so physically big? It's like a foot longer than the X1 and a half foot wider. For that matter, it's slightly bigger than a Tucson which is a size up in the compact segment.
Like the Integra, this has a dressedup Honda interior. I bought a 2013 ILX brand new just days after they arrived in the dealership. Remeber how EVERYONE complained the ILX was a "dressed-up Honda"? Well, the ILX had a REAL Acura interior! i drove the Civic and the ILX....no comparison. The ILX was MILES ahead. Where's the outrage for the Integra? I'm sure there won't be any for the ADX, either. I won't waste money on either. Nuff said.
I'm somewhat tall. I have the current X1(U11) and it's great for tall people. (6'4" or shorter) Even with the panoramic sunroof, I can sit in front and rear with plenty of headroom. :)
Super awesome. I'll get one especially since I love HR-V and was planning to get one, I'll this instead but wish was hybrid like civic offered and sh awd like my rdx and mdx. Hope type S version too.
Finally, a HRv with the 1.5 turbo engine! Too bad it is an Acura and will be $10-15K more. How about a hybrid like the Civic? Not sure why Honda/Acura is dragging it's feet on making the vehicles we want & need?
I drove my uncle’s Honda for a week and I couldn’t figure out why it seemed so lifeless up hills and windy roads. Then I got back to my car that has a DCT and realized it was the CVT in the Honda that was causing it to drive that way. That transmission kills the fun of the VTEC.
On its own, a pretty good looking car. BUT. It's too close to the HR-V. And it's pretty much a shrunken MDX, which is already an aging design that's just about ready for a redesign. The interior looks nice, but not as modern as it should have been. And whyyyyyyy, no SH-AWD? Not even Honda's I-VTM4. I think that's such a poor choice for a "premium" brand. the X1 comes with xdrive. The Q3 comes with quattro. The GLA is available with 4Matic. Why shouldn't all Acuras have SH-AWD. And it's within about 2 inches of the RDX in every dimension, LxWxH. Does that mean Acura plans to grow the RDX in its next generation?
How can this be a premium luxury suv with a CVT? the 1.5 Turbo is a true slug 0-60 in about 8 seconds (compared to 5.5 for the base X1) - I guess the argument is that it is faster than the HR-V (0-60 9.5 secs), but that vehicle is a disaster. If Acura wants to stay as a premium vehicle maker, this ADX shouldn't be as poor an effort as it is.
Wouldn’t get an X1 purely for the reason the you have to take parts of the engine off just to get to the battery. That’s a deal breaker for me. I’ll check out ADX of Lexus NH 350 H
That is hilarious a CVT. Why are not the automotive journalist going nuts? Infiniti has been using cvt’s and they are constantly being hated on so so funny.
I wanted to shortlist this if it came automatic/2.0T, but it's CVT. Sorry Acura, my money is going elsewhere next year. Edit: Also no tow rating? Definitely inconsiderable now.
I was NOT expecting the white and blue interior. Good on them for not forcing black and red down our throats this time.
Very cool. Acura needed an entry level model.
I love the blue one.
Great looking Acura, even Nate fits in this small SUV...
Now I can look at any MDX or RDX and safely go “Is that an ADX?!”
Should’ve dropped the civics hybrid powertrain in this rather than the problematic 1.5t…missed opportunity imo
How is it problematic?
Head gasket failure. Oil dulision. @@Baldingbry
I have the same engine in my 2020 Civic Hatchback with over 111K miles on it with no problems at all.

200 hp excelente para su tamaño 👌

Yeah Honda!!
Yeah CA Bureau…uh…Nathan, I know I fan boy but i enjoy seeing the OG’s (Roman and Nathan) make videos,
Yeah TFL!!
Very nice looking vehicle, I wish they also had a hybrid version like Lexus UX.
Needs the 2.0t in it
At one point they sold the CDX in UAE for a few years which was the smaller version of RDX
It’s the same size as the original RDX

Great review, nice car will have to see it in person
I like this car! It looks about the same size as my CX 5. I'm looking for a CX5 size crossover with a nicer interior & panoramic sunroof.
I thought the RDX was the small CUV that competed with the X1.
1.5 turbo plus CVT. Thanks, but no thanks!
Should have called it the Acura CVT
A car very similar to the Korean Kona 2022, especially from the rear and dashboard ❤

CVT for those reasons I'm out .. Acura should have used a proper 8sp
@TFLnow: Did not realize this was coming out. I was gonna get an RDX, not sure if the ADX is worth waiting for.
Nothing is more exciting than a car equipped with CVT. It is going to fly off the lot like no tomorrow.
A 1.5 liter and a CVT….is this a prank ?
I'm somewhat tall. I have the current X1(U11) and it's great for tall people. (6'4" or shorter) Even with the panoramic sunroof, I can sit in front and rear with plenty of headroom. :)
Great video
That's defiantly the new 2025 Passport with nice cloths on.
Nope, not even close.
Super awesome. I'll get one especially since I love HR-V and was planning to get one, I'll this instead but wish was hybrid like civic offered and sh awd like my rdx and mdx. Hope type S version too.
Beautiful ❤

Is it me or that this car looks like the Acura version of the Honda HR-V?
It is.
it’s literally a honda hrv
That’s because that’s what it is…
The HRV in Europe is different. This is a rebadged version of our ZR-V
if acura would have put the hybrid awd system from the crv in this they would probably own the segment with this car
Cvt just kill the drive for me that’s for any car
Have you driven the Integra with the CVT. Surprisingly works just fine.
@ just a lifeless drive feel Honda makes pretty good cvts not my flavor tbh
@@iana36sterrible. just get a civic

@@user1989fopfrs7Or we can buy what we want. Having a CVT car is not a big deal, it's not for performance, it's for everyday transportation.
Wow, a simple engine, a hooded instrument cluster, buttons and dials, $35K. Acura gone crazy and started listening to customers
Love it!!!
type S?
If they put the hybrid engine of the civic in this véhicule I’m ordering it directly

This is much longer than a X1 and certainly not a small SUV...
This is based on an HR-V and Civic platform not a FIT so it literally can't be a SUB-COMPACT make it make sense.
Its just a re-badged honda HR-V, with some acura styling, but still looks like an HR-V. Very disappointing.
The wheels look tiny
1.5 T? No thanks.
Might be interesting, but I can’t tell from this video.

Should do well. Unmistakably Acura.
so another behind the pack car lol
A Nissan rogue is way better luxury option than this
An expensive HRV...that is all it is....
Roman's wig?
pls bring it to the EU. German brands are dead or boring.
That is hilarious a CVT. Why are not the automotive journalist going nuts? Infiniti has been using cvt’s and they are constantly being hated on so so funny.
A jatco CVT vs Honda's CVT. Research it
@ cvt is a cvt research it
Rebadged version of our ZR-V in Europe.
PLEASE STOP WITH THE 🐟 FISHEYE 🛑 ✋
I'm buying a model Y for 40k (after rebates you can get into a dual motor). Better in every metric.
People who are not in a house with a garage cannot have home chargers...that's a no-go for half of car owners
CVT 😞🙁😡😠☹️😑😐🙄🙈
This car goes for $30k for the cheapest price up to $50k
Anything over 39 is absurd for this hrv reboot.
CVT kills it for me unless it’s like Toyotas CVT
EMBARRASSING Title!! The BMW X1 base makes 242hp and the upgraded one makes 312hp! The adx barely competes with a hyundai tuscan.
Shit little engine and cvt
Needs ARP headstuds out of the box and the CVT is trash. Hard pass.
I wanted to shortlist this if it came automatic/2.0T, but it's CVT.
Sorry Acura, my money is going elsewhere next year.

So there is room for a spare but if you don’t buy the specked out one you get a $30 inflator? Disappointing Acura👎
PLEASE don’t film car videos with a fisheye/wide-angle lens… Makes it IMPOSSIBLE to get an accurate idea of what the vehicle actually looks like.
Crossover not an SUV
Está horrible 😢
