Are you kidding me? How does Acura install a touchscreen and fully digital display in the ADX, but leave the RDX with that stupid scroll pad and regular displays.
@ soon as in 10+ years. lol. I’m not even sure why Acura didn’t update the sound system to the bang and olufsen like it did for the MDX, which also has a touchscreen. Guess Acura’s second best selling vehicle isn’t worth it.
Acura has the opportunity to make a ADX type S. Get rid of the cvt, put a dual clutch in it and tweaks to the engine and boom you have a fun, nimble compact suv. Kinda like the intergra.
@@mr.mahmudhossain8033 the previous MDX Sport Hybrid is better than any Lexus suv hybrid, the Civic Hybrid is better than the Corolla and Prius hybrid. The biggest competitor of ADX is HR-V, and a nice, mid-level trim HR-V Sport is still 8000 cheaper than an entry level ADX. In addition, the engine in ADX is extremely unreliable compared to the one inside the HR-V. If Honda ever decided to put the hybrid powertrain from Civic in HR-V, Acura would wish they never made ADX...
They have to offer a higher HP version of this right? ADX Type S at 300 HP? Some folks will balk at buying a “lux” crossover if it doesn’t have at least 250+ hp, regardless of size / weight. A 1.5 turbo seems beneath the Acura badge.
Acura's all about that blend of luxury and performance! They have some great models like the MDX for family space or the sporty NSX if you're into speed.
Critique : No spare and this not even a hybrid… Those blue suede inserts. As nice as they look brand new … they’ll fade to greyish color after extended sun exposure.
The features on this are pretty standard in the ZRV where the North American HRV doesn't have the same to keep costs down. I'd like to see that hybrid version brought over.
Ok, it’s based on the same platform as the Acura Integra and Honda HR-V (the side profile looks a lot like the HR-V) and will share the Integra’s 1.5 I4 turbo, so, when can we expect the ADX Type S model, if it does happen, I’m guessing a DCT, it will sell, but probably at the expense of the Integra, pricing will be everything, to see if the ADX and Integra can coexist
360 camera should be standard on such a vehicle these days. It's a shame that's it's offered only on the top trim. And if i may be a bit nit-picky, the red START/STOP button is way too bright and annoying. Toyota or Hyundai makes it much better.
1.5 turbo is horrendous lol. I had a 2023 AccORD LX with it….i traded it within 6 months. I couldn’t take it anymore…the 2.0 252hp engine from the 18-22 accord should’ve been the standard engine. They blew it
@@zenon3021 nope. Owned both brands. Mazdas have control arm issues. Acura is better built and engineered. The luxury is more solid. Mazda does t even play in this field. 😂
Actually, I think it is a wise move. A lot of current Honda owners want to enter the Acura (luxury) market. This gives them the opportunity to do so affordably. Let's see what happens. If they end up having a good experience, they might consider "upgrading" to the RDX as their incomes expand.
Im not a Honda/Acura type(im more a Toyota/Lexus fan), but les be honest.....that is a nice interior compared to the new Lexus products Folks talkin bout ohhh thas a HRV with makeup....Honda/Acura or Toyota/Lexus still way better than any EUROTRASH car or KOREAN, no matter how much technology they put in their cars
the fact acura is quite literally copy and pasting hondas now is sad. the current TLX, RDX, and MDX took a way different approach from the honda side making them so much different. now the integra and adx has the same interior with minor tweaks as their honda counterpart, which is sad because is that gonna happen with the CRV/RDX come the next RDX redesign?
1.5 Turbo is bad engine. I was surprised Acura decided to go with this engine. Acura should have come with 2.5 L naturally aspirated engine with automatic transmission.

That's what I was thinking.

Thats basically what it's based off
Ho ho ho… look who states the obvious. Acura was always a luxurious Honda.
Great review guys!! I was watching review of same vehicle on Raiti’s Ride and Joe found the stuffed donut in the center console. LOL. Love it.

I doubt they’ll use a DCT, it will more than likely have the 10at from the RDX
Why Acura continues to not offer hybrids is frustrating and baffling.
Good question. I also wonder about that.
The company is being ran by people who don’t understand the North American market and refuse to learn it. They will only learn by failure
They don’t know how to make a good performance hybrid SUV like Lexus. Simple answer

Exactly what Toyota/Lexus does
That is what every Acura is 😂

Acura needs to redesign the TLX asap, it’s a big and fun sedan with a tiny and outdated interior.
RDX is the oldest, so it will be the first to come up with a redesign.

They need to remove 5 inches from the Honda front end, not add to it.
All they needed to do was add the full hybrid system from the CRV or civic and this would be a 360 win. Another poor decision from Acura/Honda
Why is the key fob larger than my cell phone 📱😑
Your website doesn't list the Acura ADX as an option to search.
It's not in production or on-sale yet but it should be added in a couple months 👍
All good until the 1.5L was brought up. Imagine this had the NA V6 or the type S, V6 turbo.
