  • This Video Series is about GPS/GNSS repeaters, How they Work, whats they are good for and why I use them. The Second part of the Series is about the Design Details, Schematics and Performance of an ElCheapo CHINA ALI Express / Ebay Repeater Kit that is priced about 25usd and works only upto 30-50cm Distance. It's a Cheap Generic China Brand that comes under many Labels mine is called CHEYOULE ANT-1537.
    Further, in this Video I show a Preview of my own GNSS Repeater Design with Adjustable Gain and High output Power (to use Attenuators at the Output if needed)

    Thanks again for these videos. I've worked with all this equipment and more on a system level, understand the electronics but never had the courage to try design it myself. I find these videos very inspiring. I'd love to see the final GPS repeater and it's performance. I've already given my vote to RFoF for which I have some suggestions if you'd be interested to hear them.

    I know that your repeater design will be much superior, however I wonder if the Asian repeater has a circuit fault, of some type, or if it is just another bad import fake design? I would like to see that investigation. And, I vote "yes," for video #3, on your repeater design. Thanks and cheers!

      Hello, Thankyou, the Small repeater in Video #2 has no Flaw and is not a Fake either, it is in Principle the schematic of a Cheap GPS Active Antenna reversed and that is what it can deliver :-)
      I think it was Designed for Cars Primarily to deliver GPS in the Interior. It uses a small RX Ceramic Patch antenna and drives it with far to less Power .Cheers , Konstantin
