  • I got up and decided to visit my favorite little camera store over at Harbor Point Mall. I wanted to check the price on the DJI Pocket 2. They didn't have one in stock, but the local price is 30,000 PHP ($624.33 USD) for the Creator Combo kit if you're wondering. The Creator Combo is listed for $499 right now on DJI's website: www.markblackard.com/dji-pock... We then went hunting for a Crockpot but couldn't find one of those, either. Come to find out, they DO have slow cookers at the old SM. You'll find them in the main SM Store and NOT in the SM Appliance Store.
We decided to take a walk on Waterfront Rd and ended up having drinks with Eric and Mercy ( / kegraet ) at Texas Joe's. ***Thanks goes out to Eric and Mercy for picking up the slow cooker for us!
At the end of the video, I'll read all of the inscriptions on the monuments and historical markers by the big flag pole. If you're a history buff, it will be interesting. If not, listen to it anyway.
Thanks for joining us on this video, my friends...

I assume it is possibly a terminology issue, as "Crockpot" is actually a brand name but has just been used so often to describe those cooking devices that many of us just call it by that name. I think the more general term to use for this cooking device is "Slow Cooker".

Years ago when I was in the Philippines for a few months I attended the Philippine National Museum in Manilla.
I learned of the Bataan death march, horrible story of the Japanese occupation of the Philippines.
The Philippine people have a complex relationship with the USA in their hearts.
Admirers, friends, aware of their independence, yet aware that Americans made great personal sacrifices to liberate their nation from Japan in WWII.
Now with China making territorial, resource and sea-claims on the territories of the Philippines, they are learning that only America and it's allies have to potential to help reacquire the lost territories under Chinese occupation right now.

Black bean soup...Caribbean style, BBQ ribs, beef stew, beef roast wow! Enjoy.
