- Our FINAL SAIL of the season takes us down the Wild Coast of South Africa and back to CAPE TOWN!!! Sailing around the Cape of Good Hope can be some of the most dangerous waters in the world but the forecast looks and we decide to go for the run down the Wild Coast! We have some epic wind and good speeds and blast around right through the Agulhas current, but before rounding Cape Agulahas a low pressure system forces us into Mossel bay to wait for thing to clear. We wake up early to find clear sunny skies and make our final sail around Cape Point and into the amazing city of Cape Town! Mr. Brady turns 30 the morning we pull into Cape Town so we start off with bloody mary's for breakfast and pretty much have a rager to celebrate with friends :)

You know what I love about your videos? Beyond the superb editing, integration of appropriate music, and excellent camera skills, it is the sheer variety of what you present. Sometimes, it is a travelogue.. exposing us to a location or culture that otherwise we might never know. Other times, it is the camaraderie shared amongst the crew and your guests. And this current episode, where you explain your decisions about the expected meteorological conditions and the plan to exploit them, and then execute that plan. For a landlubber like myself, it is quite enlightening. Today, watching your journey south , my thoughts went to those centuries where, with no modern forecasting aids, sailors had to make their decisions anyway. Sometimes to their benefit, sometimes to their great peril. It makes me respect their achievements even more so than before. Thank you again.

This is a great video. I've watched almost every "SV Delos" video up to this point, I've thoroughly enjoyed them, and this one seems special. Some of the key scenes are very beautiful, each of you on board seem at your best, being uniquely yourselves (of course) and to top it off Brady appreciating his 30th Birthday sailing into port in such gorgeous scenes really makes this one seem extra special. I was super stoked with this video in that; I had you three beautiful people all to myself. It is just raw sailing ⛵️ and never mundane and that's what I love about the ocean and then you Brady, go and pull out "the Macallan's" - Oh my goodness.... thanks faithfully to Karin and Brian too. Just thunk of all the Adventures you have had in your twenty's and all you have learned plus experienced. I believe it has set you up for a GREAT 3rd decade. Federico Polito below said it all the best it could be said. I can only add that I loved Karin's monologue so much, she is not only beautiful but has a beautiful soul as well. You men are surely the luckiest in the world to have her on board. Imagine waking up to a sip of Macallan and a kiss from Karin. Makes a grown man cry with envy.
I loved this episode because it contained so much "at sea" footage which is my favorite. I live on land, have traveled extensively, and I've seen a lot. What I haven't done near enough of is long voyages on a sailboat. I can't get enough of that and in this episode you came through. You guys are so good at adding a lot of commentary to your videos, and there is a story built into each episode rather than just bits and pieces of video from your travels.
SV Delos is my favorite. I just counted and I subscribe to 16 cruising channels. None compare to SV Delos.

Yes I am in awe as to how well put together and edited of a job you do. The music is excellent!! I so miss being out on the water. I grew up on a boat. It is where we spent every weekend and two weeks in the summer. We cruised up and down Long Island sound & up to New England

matt bowlin Im right there with you brother. I found this channel during the lowest point in my life. It gave me the motivation and possitivity I needed to weather the storm. Everytime I hear the song I am filled with hope, possitivity, and overwhelming strength to treat everyone I come across with kindness and selflessness. One day I am going to find them and thank them in person for Saving my life.

Watched {my} first video of yours last night. I cant believe the amount of things I needed to do but have put off while watching these. Terrific scenery and entertaining as heck. When in the Marines I spent time in the Indian Ocean, the Philippines , along the wild coast ect. Its very nostalgic. You guys are living the dream. Although, I dont understand why you dont grab a few bugs for dinner while you guys are diving. So keep making these videos and I will keep watching them.,

Happy bday Brady man!... yes, best watch hour is sunrise bro. I aways loved the sunrises at sea on watch. I had my fair share of wonderful sunsets and sunrises chartering the Galapagos waters which probably have one of best sunrises ever...I loved this edition somehow i dont know why...felt myself at sea onboard with you guys and felt ell the happiness and stress of a critical passage and making it safely to port to enjoy a warm shower, cold beer with true company, nothing beats that happiness for me :)....wouldnt have taken that 6am whisky shot though..uggh..but thats just me...always my best and always gracias por estos momentos en el mar con Uds. me hacen feliz por lo menos por algunas horas y me siento en compañia. Abrazos, mucha suerte! (o sorry to be almost broke these days /months...to be able to help you economically but sure waiting for better times to do so.)
