I spent a ton in gas on mine. Mine is so bad I have to buy another car to commute to work. I get 15/17 mpg at most. I knew it’d be bad but you don’t realized it until you have to fill with premium.

I fill up with 86 octane and use my srt strictly for commuting. No problems , no nothing and its pulling way way more than stock power. And fill up is about 40 bucks at 2.59 a gallon. Maybe it's just my jeep..

Using lower octane will NOT damage your engine. Every production passenger car sold in the United States has a knock sensor which works talks to the computer. You will lose power under heavy load. You won't even notice unless you were to give a lot of throttle.
No disrespect but not entirely true. 05 Mitsubishi Montero runs awful and loses 5-6 mpg on 87. 2011 E550 barley idles on 87 (my sons fault). 2012 5.7 GC is sluggish and unresponsive on 87. About 14mpg mostly highway. On the other hand my RX8 ran best on 87. Apple's to oranges though.
Im getting 12 MPG on my 2018 Jeep SRT...shitty New York traffic is never near what "city" driving is. They should have 3 types of MPG estimates- Highway, City, NYC. Get yourself a borla atak catback so its actually worth dipping into that gas pedal!
