I want to say this here that i really have mental health issues and that was very problematic for me. For past 4 months i told myself that i just want to become happy again and that is my only goal. I have tried these steps especially avoiding social media. And other steps as well and that actually worked for me. And I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for making these videos. You are doing a great job. ❤

Krystal M. Smoking helps diffuse some anxiety but over a period of time because it contributes to the inflammatory process it adds to the problem. I am still a smoker . I have cut down but I do not see myself giving up the habit this year. Porn is OK as an outlet sometimes but too much indulgence increases social anxiety. There are definitely benefits to no fap.. The moments when you are able to focus are more frequent even if your focus has not improved. Anyways. Tc. Wish you well.

My dad is seriously unwell. I don't have anybody to talk to. Friends are giving exams with me so I can't disturb them. Mom is also depressed.
I just wanted to let out my desperation, since it's past midnight and he is coughing so hard.
My dad is diabetic. He has psoriasis and asthma. And he is now having asthma attacks.
We are vegetarians. We abstain from meat, alcohol, adultery, anything not suited to kids. So in short a very disciplined family.
Yet both parents are suffering constantly. Why. Why just why do good people suffer.
Please pray for him. My finals are due and I am losing hope here.
My sister is living miles away. I don't want to worry her. How do I study when my exams are so near.
    Life is going downhill here.
I pray everyday for people dealing with problems . Today for the first time I am asking for some mercy.

-I feel the we are some how alone in this planeta with almost 8 billion humans, it seems all of them are looking at their phone searching and searching for something and never find it, and all of that happens when we ,you and other needs help, Comfort and it doesn’t come.
I think I suck as a human being, I’d like to be a better person and help and get helped.
      Hope you are ok.

Caffeine and Sugar are in small amounts and all of the others I do not do anymore. I quit booze after I was 19, I quit porn cause it wasn't doing anything for me, I am up and moving unless my lungs are too bad, social media is horrible and I only follow a few people and I check it a couple times a month so I do pretty good after 4 years of anxiety disorders.

Your comments regarding social media are very true. I experienced a perfect example. I have been really doing a lot of work on myself over the past few months. I stopped using alcohol and replaced it with clean diet and exercise. things started to improve and I continued to look internally as to what triggers my destructive behaviours. It was a very difficult process and churned out a lot of negative feeling and emotions. Time passed and I gained more confidence in my personal appearance and posted a few pics of myself on Instagram. Before this I only ever posted pics of my dog. The reaction to the pics was very interesting and many of the comments were along the lines of how good I looked and how life must be treating me really good. It was strange to think that my life wasn't at all as I depicted in the pics. Few if any who made comments had any idea just how difficult the road had been to get me to the position where i was comfortable to post a pic.
Yes I was very happy to read positive comments about my appearance and my weight loss but it truly showed me that what is depicted on any social media channel isn't always the reality of the person real life.

The thing is... whether I live with porn/alcohol/coffee or without it all, at the end of the day my life is still shit, and I bet not mine only. There was a time in my life when I extremely avoided all of it and yes I was more energetic, but I was so miserable. So I see no point in saving my potential because it doesnt get me anywhere anyway. At least I can live happy and satisfied with all the bad stuff you mentioned. I believe, first you have to take a step, actually do something that will change your life for the better, like change your job to a better one or move to a different city/country you dreamed of, and only after! you can try to drop a bad habit. Otherwise you will be sooo miserable, you will fall into an even bigger hole than you were in before. And you are very nice to listen to, I think you have some good advice, just not in every case. I suffer from OCD and hoarding so these small addictions are the only thing that makes me happy. I have no friends, because I changed as a person, I pushed away my old ones and havent made any new ones yet, no relationship, I hate my job and the way my life is now in general so I think in my case its better to hold on to these bad things until I make at least one thing right. Cause I have like the opposite problem now, I dont allow myself to live the life I want to, to just be myself, choose what I like, be bad sometimes, I force myself to be nice and good too much. So now to me allowing myself these small addictions is already a win.

Thanks for sharing! I can definitely agree that social media in general heightens my anxiety level. I deleted Facebook and Instagram last year and have been better off without it. I still use Snapchat but it's not the same at all. Plus I'm only following a few people on there. With Facebook in particular, I would compare myself to others. I also noticed that any bad news that people shared on Facebook made me depressed and anxious (e.g. natural disasters, people dying, etc). So, I don't think I'll be getting back on social media any time soon.

"Have you ever been scrolling through your phone and thought, what am I doing?". I think we have all been there. Lol. Some great advice here....apart from alcohol. We have some decent ales here in the UK.

Thanks for the suggestions!! On the caffeine subject, I was just discussing this with another friend of mine and I mentioned how I never understood how caffeine kept people awake because for me, caffeine makes me a little drowsy or it just doesn't do anything for me other than satisfy my taste. My friend mentioned that it might have to do with liver efficiency getting rid of the caffeine without ever feeling the effects of it? Idk, but I suggested that maybe it has to do with tolerance... I've had coffee for as long as I can remember - always Colombian coffee (homemade coffee is best) and maybe that's why I feel nothing when drinking it? Of course, I only drink it for breakfast, but for now, I'm only drinking it on the weekends and I noticed I'm not as drowsy - could caffeine have the opposite effect of it's intended purpose (to keep you awake and alert)? Anyways, great video. I'll be sure to put these into practice in my daily life.

Ik this is weird but my anxiety increased after I drunk green tea 😂🤭previously, I drunk it not because of anxiety though, but for skin and beauty purposes but yah I already had some bad days back then and with help of green tea ut became worst, I fainted due to anxiety 😂and when I changed to chamomile tea, it was much better! For me at least.
But if u wanna try chamomile tea, make sure u r not allergic to it, Cuz some people are. 😇

I struggle with excessive rumination and it kind of frightens me. Because i'm aware that i'm doing it but still it's so hard to stop.

Good thing is once you start you'll notice so much the changes that it'll be easier with time. I'm on my third month of lowering sugar to the minimum, some days I don't even have it and I can so notice the difference..!

In case of how bad porn is really for you, and what big crisis it is for men and sexual health nowadays I highly recommend the channel - Universal Man. He is a great, super inteligent guy who spreads awareness about the issue. Just watch some videos of his, you won't regret it.

ɮօʊռċɛ օʄʄ Do not tell people to kill themselves. And not watching porn doesn't mean avoiding masturbation and sex. It just means... not watching porn. Religion isn't relevant.
