Just giving a couple of reasons why I consider the tesla model y to be a great purchase! #teslay #teslamodely performance #carreview #teslamodels #teslamodely
We bought a 2022 MYP and absolutely love it. Its paid for and we were looking to buy a new one Model S LR this fall, but every time we drive our MYP changes our mind. The last new car that we traded in on a Tesla was my 2014 Lime Rock Green Stingray back in 2020. Never going back to ICE. We are 72 and Tesla suits our needs and tastes. USAF Retired
I have a 23 white on white MYP Wit 25k miles! Roadtrips everywhere BKSF-SD-PHX-MEXICO-LV-LA love the car. My first EV and in the near future with sell my civic and buy a model 3
I have this car in red. I will never go back. This car is amazing. Just know, you will be sacrificing ride for performance. I personally was ok with it.
I've read on Reddit basically if you put the long range wheels (or similar spec/size) you basically get back the comfort back of a LR and retain performance attributes.
@NyBasim91 yeah but do you really want that? I think one of the things that catches my attention the most is the 21” wheels and lower stance than the long range model
I am coming from a 2021 Model 3 long range. I have just one negative, which is it doesn't feel as responsive, I feel my 2022 Model Y Performance is quicker.. but it doesn't feel like it. If that makes sense. But I love the utility the space and how open if feels. Especially when camping. I can sleeping in it and using the app to open the rear and roll out easily. It also carries my folding electric bicycle without even needing to lower the seats. I can't say enough good things about it.
I have not had the opportunity to drive the model 3 but I have heard very good things about, I was on the market for something bigger and so far, this thing is an absolute unit!
Picking mine up this Thursday. I have a 116 mile round trip to work, 3 kids, and like to go fasy every now and again. This thing seems like it is going to check all the boxes i need. Thanks for your vids and perspective!
I am supposed to go to the Austin factory in a few months as my friend is working in the model y department. If there are any news or updates, ill report
If you're using your frunk to transport food just be careful if you go into the country that your Frank does not still smell like food because Bears will rip apart once you have parked. Of course this is true of your car in general but the frunk seems particularly open for the outside world to smell
Great question! I am still navigating this topic, however on a full charge I was able to get about 300 something miles. on a 80% recommended charge I am getting about 220 miles. I am still looking into the battery degradation and more accurate percentages. Hope this helps!

You will absolutely love it man, there are things here and there but nothing that would want to make me switch to any car brand.
What tinit percentage you have on that? or is that natural look
5% and all rear windows, 25%on front windows,80% on windshield
@@c3sgarage nice, im getting mine tinted day after I get mine on Friday, and considering different options, though my state only allows a 35% tint
I was just going to mention to check your state laws as it varies for each state.
I’m waiting for the next version

When I want more mileage, I simply put it in Chill mode. I'll get easily 275 to 300 miles.
Never considered the white interior? Im stuck between that decision rn
Thought about it, but figured white interior either bluejeans dont get along so I had to pass
Dude how about focusing on that car. Too much of your face.
