    It's funny I own 21 MYP and been door dashing since my airbnb has been slow. Been making around $100 for 4-5hrs of working. I cant imagine doing it with a gasoline car. I plan to keep the car for 8+ more yrs. Awesome car!

    Great review. We got our 2024 Y Performance last Sunday. .99 percent financing. Sticker down for your $69K to barely $52K. Almost too good to pass up.

    Mike have you looked into the soft close doors and auto presenting door handles and Swivel screen by Hanshow those after market parts are a must and a real game changer not to mention installing the auto frunk I also installed up grated front and rear sway bars from Helwig I was one of the few people they sent the bars for Testing it is a serious up grade I have had my car since December and love it I found charging the car to 90 percent i have found I get the best results with the car as far as how it reponds

    That is a sharp ride. True story. I hit a pothole in the Fort Pitt Tunnel in my Cadillac that had 20 inch rims. Wheel was ok, but lost my rocker panel. There are some screaming deals on the MYP as they phase out the old body style.

    We have the same 2022 car in white (also in Pittsburgh) and agree with your comments. Having come from all German cars Macan GTS, M3, M5, GLC AMG, S6, SQ5 and more, I was apprehensive, but after 18,000 miles and no issues I’m impressed. The Model Y P remains rock solid and and squeak free. The in car and app technology is years ahead of any other car and the performance never gets old. I like the firm ride and handling. I do wish Tesla had an M Sport, AMG or S line package option that upgrades the steering wheel, seats, dash, etc.

      I have the 3 and Y Performance and the interior is not as nice as BMW or Mercedes, but still loving the cars. I kept my old BMW M3 in case I feel the need to drive a manual transmission.

      Now with nearly 26,000 mile the tires still look good. I’m guessing I’ll get at least 40,000 miles before I decide to replace since they are all seasons and I drive in snow.

      It's my brother's vehicle so that's up to him to share haha Here's my two cents: factor in about $100-$150 a month in saved cost from gas vs charging. Factor in, no oil changes so maybe 3 oil changes in a year or so? I've had 0 maintenance in my Model 3 after 33k miles. So if you can do the monthly, you'll be very happy you put the upfront cost down.

    Hey my friend! Just got my brand new YP, the car is awesome 😎 just 1 question please, what is the range of that car should be? I can’t pass 220 kilometres per charge (100-20%) with optimal conditions (AC on auto and chill mode, 15-17 Celsius)

      Go on the Tesla App, click service request, then click Battery, then type in the description "Range Loss" tesla will fun a free battery diagnostics test on your battery. You can also call Tesla near you and have them remotely do this. I have done both first check that there isn't any error messages that Tesla is seeing on the battery and that your diagnostic comes back clean

    How’s the suspension on the performance model Y vs. the LR? Does the 2023/2024 have better suspension. I know the tire size makes a difference 19, 20 & 21, but do they have the same suspension except for the MYP being lower.

    Why do you keep calling this a "premium vehicle"? Just because it has a premium price, that doesn't make it a premium vehicle. Teslas have historically bad build quality, highlighted by the crappy illuminated door sill protectors. Great that you like your car, but come on, these cars are NOT built well.

    • @FrunkToTrunk
      @FrunkToTrunk  ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Both my brother and I have never bought new cars prior to these cars. I me it's 100% a premium vehicle, the sleek modern design is what I consider premium, the acceleration, the safety from the cameras, the climate control from your phone, Sentry mode, OAUs all this a regular car doesn't have. The seats are amazing feeling, the glass roof is unique comparing a Tesla to another "luxury" car like BMW, Audi, Lexus this is 100% a premium vehicle. It offers the same as them and more, so how is this not a premium vehicle?

      tezla piece of garbage

    • @acp4343
      @acp4343 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FrunkToTrunk It all depends on your definition of 'premium' - is that 'better than an economy car' or is it 'top of the market'. See if you can snag a test drive of the new Range Rover Autobiography (to be released next year as full electric) - I'm sure the difference will be clear. But perhaps that fits better under the 'luxury' moniker. Thanks for the review
