I commend you for staying clean and sober even when surrounded by others drinking, people don’t realize how hard it can be sometimes to be around it and still say no.
@@PortsladeBySea Ofcourse, especially when drunk people absolutely don't understand "I don't drink" and they try to investigate You why you don't want it.
Man, I cried with this video. Your energy on stage, your determination on being sober, your joy about music. I ain't gonna be the last one to say this: You really are inspiring. Blessings!
I respect you for focusing on something positive instead of a negative we've already heard about so many times! This was refreshing :) Edit: Looks like the show went well! hope it was a great crowd
I trust the videos I recorded rather than my brain 10 years into the future to recall what happened. It’s so stupid to complain about people recording lmao Like it’s the most logical thing you can do to capture the moment
@darkdba8136 because so many phones held up in the air can obstruct the view of people behind who may not be able to see the stage and band performance properly.
The thing I really like about this is that you have the chops and you know how to use them - but critically you know WHEN to use them and when to keep it simple. Fantastic job, wish I'd had the opportunity to do something like that.
I came over to this video because I saw the short about what musicians actually here on stage. very cool. I'm in the United States and can't help but think of the great white show that ended in a great fire, when I see the pyrotechnics. I know that a lot has changed since that day. congratulations on 5 years sober. life's a lot simpler When you're not inebriated all the time. I work in an industry where there's a lot of cocaine and I steer very clear of it. I bet it's even harder in the music industry
Awesome thanks for sharing what it is actually like for band members backstage. I like hearing your thoughts and commentary throughout, it helps give insight into showing how famous musicians are in fact very much human like anyone else. I also really appreciate some of your thoughts regarding playing as it helps show me that the things i often think about myself when playing are completely normal and part of the whole growing/learning process. Overall, very unique and well put together, not to mention it shows how grateful you are for every one of your fans and thus is a way of saying thanks and spending time with fans on a more personal level.
I like your whole approach. As a very mediocre guitar player who played in a cover band for 10yrs, I always fought with small issues like blinding lights. And I love that you hold the guitar much higher, not the rocker super low slung way. Because I come from classical music and never managed to hold it super low, so always felt weird about it. Lastly, as someone who never drank alcohol -except for a glass of wine every other month - I salute your mentioning of sobriety
@@rohansingh1639Seiler and speer are awesome, one of the goats over here 😉 if you look through their playlists you’ll find some of the other things played here, it’s worth it trust me ^^

Brother i was super glad to hear that you are as I am 5 Years Sober ! It makes me feel stronger than ever to hear that i am not the only one who has decided to totally abstain from alcohol and has made it 5 years.
Damn bro, I bet it must feel great for you to play for thousands of people onstage. I wish you the very best. By the way, I wanna see you here tour in the USA. Keep Rocking brother 🤘
5 years sober. Excellent. What a wonderful change, eh? Keep coming back. It works, if you work it. Precision playing, great mix, and I love the perspective from the tiny video camera you are wearing. Well done. :-Don
WTF? YOU ARE THE GUITARIST OF ONE OF MY FAVOURITE BANDS?! cheers! danke für die tolle Show! ich habe euch live in Wien gesehen! (i was living in Austria for 6 years now i moved back to the US) I LOVE THE SONG "SCATZI" And ofcourse the solo and i like all of your songs
I do school of rock for my guitars lessons and a few months ago I got to play at red rocks amphitheater opening for film on the rocks. That catering area reminded me of the catering area at red rocks where there was a fridge, tables, and it just looked like a restaurant. Really cool experience during the show too it was awesome
Wow this was cool. Just randomed on this video and now I have to dig deeper in your channel for that sweet live guitar tone to hopefully find a rig rundown or something. Wowzers it was nice!!!
4:54 I want this song, instrumental, no singing, just like we hear it here. Is that a real thing I can find somewhere? Spotify? Those solos sound great.
I love your reel with crowd sound vs. in ear monitors! I don't know how you don't get lost...I would need to hear the actual amp to be in synch...lack of experience I guess!
That looked like an absolute blast!! I guess, if you're lucky enough (and talented enough, of course), you get to enjoy one glorious show. The payment, it seems, is a few dumpster-fire shows. 😅
Happy for you! Well, clean the sights, sounds, smells, the feelings will be with you forever. Everything sounds good with a buzz only to find out later ....eh
I just watched this video for the guitar stuff but then my girlfriend came and explained the entire lineup and setlist to me. Apparently she's a big Seiler und Speer fan 😂

My favorite thing to see is nobody holding their phone up recording the whole time. They are enjoying beautiful music.
Still a lot tho
