Indeed we are back again, Chaley!! Such a beautiful country. I grew up in Kenya. Even though I am from South Sudan, Kenya will always be my home. Ps, sorry to be one of them but you miss spelt Kenya in your description.
@@Stella-Shanelly Yes definitely great being able to land in Nairobi and not needing a GPS, knowing how to bargain, and giving the Mutura guy a look while saying “ebu wacha muchezo” and he will know not to give me a small portion.
Great footage. By the way, I couldn't hold myself easy or Kool when your phone was stolen, but I guess it's all well and good now seeing you smiling again. Peace out.
Wow! What a lovely presentation. I have enjoyed watching your clip, and you'll be impressed to know that I have just subscribed. Thumbs up for doing a remarkable job!
I see they drive on the Left? I wish to experience driving on the left and then changing to the right in another country. Thanks Stella Shanelly for such videos.
All countries from East Africa to South Africa drive on the left side of the road and are right hand drive because most of them follow the UK driving system.
I’m Kenyan and divide my time between Kenya and a right hand driving country. I’ve noticed that I adapt more quickly when switching from right-hand driving to left- hand driving than the other way round. I guess it’s just the way my brain is wired. But often one adapts fairly quickly, I’d say within 30 min or so.
Good to see you enjoyed your trip to Mombasa. Now learn some Swahili while there. In Mombasa they speak some pristine Swahili than the one we have in Nairobi.
@@joanmiksabel3598 from my experience last month they did not check but I had not carried anything, on my way back I decided to do it and it was okay no checks also
Hello from New Zealand, absolutely loved your video, liked it so much I have subscribed for more, Love train travel, I have been to Africa and lived in Zambia on and off for 3 years, I have a friend in Nairobi, Love Africa and you lovely African people, hope to return to Kenya in the not to distant future, Very impressed with the railway system and rolling stock. Cheers and thanks for sharing much appreciated indeed,
Welcome to Mombasa Stella, I believe you will find some similarities between your village life and some of the village lives of people in the coastal region, that's if you are walked through the region well. Karibu Pwani.
I've been putting my trip to Nairobi off for some time now, because of Covid-19 and will continue to check with the state department concerning travel to Kenya. I'm traveling from America, specifically, Denver, Colorado. I've had my Covid19 injections, but, have been warned many Kenyans have not been vaccinated and I should be aware of how different strains of the virus might effect me. I'm bringing plenty of masks. I've been waiting to travel to Nairobi for more than a year now and have decided to throw caution to the wind and schedule my tourist travel to Nairobi anyway. I'm scheduling my trip from September 7th thru 23 splitting my time between Nairobi and Mombasa. It's suggested, I locate reasonable accommodations in the Westlands, Kileleshwa or Riverside districts, because these areas are safer for tourist and many expatriates live in these areas. I want to mingle with locals. Can you recommend a reasonable hotel in Mombasa near the ocean. I will take the train from Nairobi to Mombasa. Finally, I can't determine where the suggested neighborhoods are located in Nairobi and Airbnb doesn't designate the areas in their listings. I plan to hire a Uber driver to guide me around the city and a recommended SWAHILI tutor to indoctrinate me to Swahili during my trip. I'm in the process of covering all bases before I began my travel. If you and/or your audience can offer any assistance in preparation for my trip, it is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help you extend. Thank you for this video-
i was surprised by the amount of people on the train. If the demands continues, the trade between Nairobi and Mombasa could be more frequent and it will definitely improve the economy. Flow of people encourage economy to bloom. Good luck to Africa, perhaps Africa is not so bad without the Colonial rules afterall.
Kenya looks beautiful. The train also looks beautiful and I like its locomotive. Kenyan train and its locomotive both exactly match with each other as they're same colour.
Hi gal you are lucky they let you film most of this places. Us the locals are not allowed to film until when I'm the train. But it's beautiful. Glad you enjoyed.
